  1. Errmm.......thanks? I was actually looking at ordering some new accessories as a reward for performing so well at Southcoast CQB. The range on it is ridiculous and it'll hop whatever you want.
  2. Personally I'm not sure how I feel about negative sales feedback when a transaction hasn't actually completed. Maybe I'm bias though, as that's the only type I've received. In answer to your question, should/could the seller have made it clear Paypal fees weren't included, as the general rule around here is to only pay via goods and services - yes. Were you a bit hasty - yes.
  3. Six weeks you say? Yeah, draft your e-mail to BF now and I reckon that's doable from Novritsch.
  4. I suppose in that case, it was an oversight regardless of using this feature. Discussing something first also gives me a better idea of who I'm dealing with. I wouldn't go ahead with it, if the buyer is a PITA from the get-go. If nothing else, can a counter offer feature be added? Sometimes the offer needs to be improved just a tad to cover postage and the such. I also think this feature encourages random/flaky offers, as it's easy just to type a figure in.....although that's possibly the nature of online selling anyway. Meh, just my two cents. Not the end of the world is it.
  5. I've been using the G-series version for my AAP-01 and get a long with it well. However whenever I'm dealing with something which is spring loaded (ie the winding & feeding mechanism on this), I like to release the tension at the end of the day (oi, oi!). The only way I've found to do that with this, is mag dumping until the BB's in the actual mag part drop down. This method obviously wastes ammo, gas and adds wear to the gun. Does anyone else have a better way of doing it?
  6. Am I the only one who isn't a fan of having this feature on my classified (selling) ads? I'd prefer buyers to PM, so we can discuss any questions they have and establish whether they possess a suitable defence etc before I accept or decline an offer.
  7. Well yeah, ie my opening salvo. From a reasonable perspective you haven't done anything wrong. However unfortunately you're totally at the mercy of Paypal.
  8. We're talking morally, right? You've been a little vague about details of described faults and parts etc. Is the part really that difficult to source? If a £7 part is the real crux of the issue and he's already found someone willing to work on the gun (not sure what constitutes a qualified tech), then I don't see why they wouldn't just replace it, rather than push for a refund on something they've already messed with.
  9. Why not just the same again? The stock ifrit motors are decent.
  10. Played Southcoast CQB yesterday. Had a lot of fun, well-worth the arduous four hour round trip. As a long time woodland skirmisher it was really refreshing to play in a much different environment. It was also nice not having long treks back to spawn and the safe zone. I feel I made a few tactical errors, as was trying to advance too cautiously. Next time I'm going to lighten my loadout and play more aggressively. At the start of the day the Marshall giving the safety brief told people to just parlay, rather than get in to arguments about whose BB struck half a second earlier. I'm on board with anything which helps reduce aggro behaviour. However I did notice on several occasions people tried to force a parlay. For example, guy running round the corner with his pistol up in the air gets shot in the chest, lowers his gun and fires off a couple of rounds before declaring "I hit you too!" I will add, the opposing team did a good job of locking down key angles of "the map" and making us come to them. Which led to quite a few massacres. So kudos to them!
  11. As above these have a strong spring in stock, it's just limited by the barrel. I would be chuck a 200mm zci barrel in it, I would be surprised if that doesn't take you to 340. You would of course need to us a mock suppressor on the end to cover it but I think that looks better than the metallic flower.
  12. I'm 99% sure it's CYMA. I've owned one and it was pretty decent. Obviously mags are a bit awkward and I didn't enjoy using that Lego brick trigger all day. They're iconic and compact though, so I'm also tempted to "re-invest"
  13. I think the ARP-9's are a lot of fun and the drum mags awesome. The proprietary mags can be an issue if you don't want to use the drum though.
  14. I would assume it's not actually made by Beretta either? Kinda like people put Make: Colt
  15. I've had a few of these and they're so much gun for the money.
  16. No one is going to convince me that an AEP is good enough to keep up with a decent AEG in a variety of situations and subsequently worth £240.
  17. I wouldn't recommend a TM Scorpion as your only primary. I would recommend an ASG Scorpion EVO 3A1 though. They more than hold their own in either CQB or woodland.
  18. Just to add to this thread - I e-mailed the contact at the bottom of my "Notice of Detention for Imported Goods" letter with my UKARA details (number, site obtained, address registered to). They replied several days later advising that subsequently they could release the RIF. About three weeks later I finally received it from UPS (albeit missing the suppressor, outer box squished and covered in BF tape). At no point did I pay anything additional. I seem to recall reading on the Novritsch website that the amount at checkout did indeed include duty & taxes. I think someone did the import customs clearance "free of charge" too.
  19. After exactly five weeks, my Novritsch order is finally with me.

@Cr0-Magnonahh, that makes more sense, how long was it of those 5 weeks that it was held in office? (if you know)

Collected from Novritsch 10/02. It was with Border Force from 14/02 - 03/03. They then sent the release confirmation and it's taken UPS from then until now to clear and deliver.

doesn't sound too bad with the five weeks part now that you put it like that to be honest

  20. Does anyone know what the big brass coloured screw in the back of this AW Co2 1911 mag does?
  21. So this is my current configuration. Can't believe it took me this long to figure out that the rails are standard picatinny size that you get on most rifles, rather than the pistol size for Glocks etc (sorry I don't know all the RS technical terms). Now I know why my Surefire X300 Clone and RMR Red Dots were loose! Anyway pretty happy with it. Although for weight distribution a smaller sight would be much better, this is all I had in the cupboard. My actual question is, can I use a stock in combination with the Black Mamba kit?
  22. Also as feedback, you may want to re-evaluate that bulk deal on Nuprol 3.0. You're going to struggle to find someone willing to invest £390 as a lump sum on gas. Especially as it works out £15.60 per a can and the individual price is £12 - £15.
