    God damn it. I will give it a try once but why does every site near Glasgow seems to run the same 2 week Sunday as The Depot I just don't understand why. The Depot is fully booked every Sunday are they surviving on the people who don't like indoor or couldn't book in time? Never even heard of Hammer 2 and I've been looking for as many sites as possible within a few hours drive. Seems like if I want to play airsoft on the other sunday I need to go to Edinburgh or Fife.

    They shut down Sunday games for summer at fortress coming back end of September start of october apparently. Good to know as they run the week depot isnt on so a reason to travel

    Put my pyramex i-force goggles on yesterday for the chrono only to find out there is moisture between the inner and outer lenses 😢

     

    Only had them 8 months. I have my dye i5 but now but I don't really have a backup :( 

     

    Anyone had this happen to theirs?

      Well, that's a bag of wank.  Mine are still OK, but you're not the first to report this, or some sort of crazy starring on the inner lens.

       

      I'm kind of assuming that at some point I'll need to disassemble mine and clean them, or replace the inner lens with bits of PETG.

      I inspected the other lens too and found star shapes as well

       

      Never taken them apart before but they are useless now so found they are pretty easy to pop apart. Was a gift for my xmas and 20 quid isn't expensive but used less than 10 times I am disappointed.

       

      I read some guff about drying them out then sealing with silicone. Fek that

      You can replace those inner lenses with any clear plastic.  I'd go with 0.75mm thickness of PETG. A5 will be more than sufficient for one pair:

      If you need to replace the tape, I'd suggest 2mm thick double sided black foam tape.  Just cut it into a thin strip and run it round the edge, being sure to butt it up against itself at the join so as not to leave a gap.

    Today in a CQB scenario my TRMR decided to deploy its self as I was hit. So I jumped up hand up yelled hit like a good hit taker as I go around a corner and get shot. My trmr twists and jumps out of my holder and lands at the guys feet and goes off. Hes asking if he has to take it and I have no answers to give him. I never armed it or threw it 🤣 It was my jumping up to call my hit that loosed it from its holster.  Opinions?     Cheers might do a Friday game next month but 11pm finish is too late for me with over an hour drive and work the next day. Edit Their laser policy might be a deal breaker for me don't want some daft cunt laserin my eyes out with some chinese laser. Ban them they aren't required for airsoft and are too dangerous. Lasers and Strobes: Do not deliberately shine lasers or strobing lights at peoples faces. Keep in mind that with the nature of the dark areas of the site, people will have torches and you will get them shone in your face from time to time

    I can't find the fortress online for game times just the fort which seem to run the same days as the depot. Does Fortress not do weekend games? I'd struggle to make it up for 7 and 11 is past my bed time 😂

    So you need buds as well as the racals and the surefire ones run more expensive than the racals themselves (they also offer protection on their own so if you just wanted to play with protection the surefire on their own would work but no fancy electronics) Now if you have buds and the racals and a AAA battery you already have the hearing protection and can just run that. After that you need to look at getting custom wiring for them or a PTT or both to get a radio hooked up. The cost starts mounting up.
