2 questions if that's OK... I bought a 2nd hand g&g g96 (gas L96 sniper rifle) and its shooting low fps (360fps green gas, 0.2g bb). Does it have an npas or similar? Google fails to say yes/no on this but there not much info on this rifle. 2nd question, it came with this part in the box, what is this part? I've found a parts diagram but I can see this bit in it.
-
Thank you. I'll see if I can give it a proper check.

Cheers for having a look! Yes it could have been done a bit neater, but it feels solid enough. I'd be pleased with £50 (it's more than I thought). If I can test it and it does work, how much would it be worth then, do you think? I can check it feeds without an hpa rig by just putting the mag in and cocking the rifle. Looking at the cost of parts new it's £50 for the mag, £50 for the drum, £20 for the hose. So based on that £80 working maybe?

I bought a 2nd hand TM MTR16 last week and it came with this home made HPA drum mag. I can't test it myself but I've been told it works fine (by the shop). It's a pull chord drum mag with an MWS short mag merged with it. Any idea how much its worth?

Posting Airsoft kit, guns, and accessories
Daveoc33 replied to 1967PF44's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the info OP. People in the post office often don't know that sending guns is allowed but under some extra conditions since there's a picture of a gun on their prohibited items poster. This is the parcel force page that explains the rules around it and I've had to show it to the person working at the post office on occasion. https://www.parcelforce.com/help-and-advice/sending/prohibitions-and-restrictions It currently says: Arms and Ammunition - low powered air weapons Low-powered air weapons (air rifles, air guns and air pistols), together with lead pellets and other airgun and airsoft projectiles, can be sent but are subject to the following conditions: These items must be sent on an express48 service only These items must be sent via the Post Office only, and presented at the counter Enhanced compensation cover is not available -
If you really want a licence socom tactical have it covered! https://www.socomtactical.net/proper-ukara-licence/

I used a runcam 3 on a drone I used to own. No complaints about it from me but I've never owned a gopro so I can't tell you if it was better or worse. YouTube says not as good but decent for the money. I was happy with the footage and the camera took many crashes in its stride and kept working.

I forgot about the redwolf one. It was the RWA nighthawk GRP and the was around the £1000 mark. It does explain the price really. It'll be interesting to see what else is revealed about the GBLS 1911 over the coming months.

Yeah, I'm not sure. My kwc definitely doesn't have it. I can't remember if my TM does or doesn't.

There's been noises of this on Facebook etc for a while. It's now available for preorder. I was hoping for an innovative aep similar to their Das but this looks like a gas blowback. Full stainless steel and a pre order from Korea will set you back £800ish (1,250,000 won). The main unique thing about it seems to be a "half cock safety device" which I'm guessing is the hammer half cocked. It comes with either markings, no markings, or as a disassembled kit. I'm not clear what makes this better than a TM with a guarder kit but here some translated details from a website. Pre-sale period (Senior mother itself): September 30th ~ October 24th, 2022 1 additional magazine provided with advance reservation Laser marking can be done at no additional cost to the customer who requested it. Full Steel CNC Manufacturing Some details such as hammer, slide stop, and hammer spring housing will be modified and shipped. Maximize details such as reproduction of the half-cock safety device for the first time in Airsoft Differentiated sales with a new magazine design that was not previously available 1) Materials ( mainly main parts ) - All steel parts are applied (CNC machining ) - Inner barrel ( manufactured by Lambda, Japan ), trigger bar , special screw , and special pin are stainless steel - Part of cylinder and piston are aluminum (AL7075 T6) - Magazine lining and grip apply polymer ( mil-spec polymer specification ) 2) Exterior finishing post-treatment method - Steel parts apply parka -rise - There are rumors of Teflon coating, but Teflon coating is not applied to the product. ( The development of DuPont's Teflon coating was in the 1950s , and the time it was applied to firearms was mainly in the 1970s during the Vietnam War, so not applying it to this product is a testament to the high degree of perfection ) 3) Challenge kit delivery status - Frame , slide , out-barrel and chamber assembly , only 3 available before coloring - The rest of the parts are provided in a state where all processes have been completed as an assembly ( assembly ) for each part. - Supplied with heat treatment and sanding - For sanding , the pressure of 100 times used for sanding has a grainy feeling, but the roughness of the surface roughness is expected to be provided at a low level. Due to the nature of the challenge kit, separate production standards are applied - This product is produced close to the real illumination by applying 6 bars of pressure to No. 100 gold thread .

I was pleasantly surprised by my vfc gen 4 glock 19. Very snappy with crisp trigger break and the range and accuracy running it stock was surprisingly good. I know what you mean about bits breaking but parts are available from wgcshop and redwolf (and probably a few others too). I don't have a TM G19 but I definitely prefer this to my tm g18c and we g17. Does a TM foliage warrior could as a compact? Mine is outstanding. Similar size to a g19

Possibly not what you're after but if you want to sell the lot in one go action hobbies seem to do a lot of bulk buys. They are in Milton Keynes too so not too far from you: https://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/used-kit-buying-and-recycling/ I dread to think how much you'd be losing selling to a retailer though. There are some lovely RIFs in your collection.

Thank you! Wow that's expensive. I was after a TM part because I was expecting to be cheaper than the guarder. Fire support have the TM frames out of stock at £10 a pop. But maybe that price is from years ago. If that's the going rate I'll probably be better off with a guarder
-
Where do people go for original TM replacement parts? I'm trying to find a TM g18c frame but everywhere sells guarder or aftermarket frames, but nowhere sells TM ones. Or am I drawing a blank because of trademark issues? Cheers

Fubar Bundy sell stuff on your behalf on a commission basis. It's possible other shops would do this. Can't hurt to ask your local shops.

Good on you for putting this together. To me it looks like a home brew of the attacksense system but with servos to indicate a target to shoot instead of LEDs. I'm not sure how many game modes you could have given the setup but the obvious ones are just random targets in sequence or random simultaneous targets. Increasing the difficulty with more random targets or less time to shoot the presented targets. Good luck to you! And I hope you don't shoot the raspberry pi during testing

This is a decent hop rubber and nub: https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/hop-up-buckings-nubs/maple-leaf-macaron-60-nub Can't comment on barrels as I normally just switch the rubber and leave it at that. Its such a cheap and effective upgrade.

Optics warehouse has 10% off with code QUEEN10. They sell vortex stuff there and they seem to be the cheapest for that even without the discount. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
-
I'd be surprised any of these didn't fit but you're probably best off measuring. This thread goes on about stocks and buffer tubes: https://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/177260-milspec-vs-commercial-spec-ar-buffer-tubes/#:~:text=The Mil-Spec buffer tube, tube is 1.168" in diameter.&text=AEGs - Most AEGs are based, many more (most actually).

The pts enhanced polymer stock has reasonable space. There's also the vfc qrs. If you want something slimmer you can get a magpul ctr / MOE with an enhanced (bigger) butt pad and bore out the butt pad. Davescustomairsoft do these ready made or there's and airsoft artisan 3d printed butt pad that does the same thing. Lots more choices too depending on what you like the look of. Nearlty forgot the bcm gunfighter mod 1 also looks like it has some decent space (made by vfc).

They remove the French vat in the checkout process so you can see that bit removed from what you pay before you put card details in. I did get a bit excited seeing the 20% off bit and my impulse buy response was triggered. I've yet to buy anything still though. Didn't see a field for a ukara either but maybe that's further down the checkout process.

Evike now have a warehouse in europe (France apparently) and are shipping to the UK. https://evike-europe.com/ username: Evike Password: Europe for early bird access use WELCOME20 for 20% off your first order. They say that orders for the UK are VAT exempt: https://evike-europe.com/delivery-methods - does that mean they pay the VAT? UK delivery in 2-3 days by DPD (it's not UPS!! ) Free shipping on orders over 150 euros Customs fees apply (whatever that means) Might be worth a punt. At a glance it looks like they are gunfire.com-ish prices with some bettter some worse. LCT stuff with euro to GBP exchange rate and 20% off and free shipping comes out quite reasonable. Some RIFs like the scorpion evo and cyma sr25 are "prohibited from sale" in the UK and a few other countries for reasons unknown.

WE/Cybergun Desert Eagle slide/frame/mag compatibility
Daveoc33 replied to Sifu Steve's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
The green gas mag you received will be for the WE Desert eagle licenced by cybergun. The CO2 full auto desert eagles are made by KWC (licenced by cybergun). the WE is semi auto only. I'm pretty sure this is right. There are 2x full auto desert eagles made by KWC. One is the standard DE and the other is the L6. You'd expect them to both be compatible given that the only real difference is the rail on the lower frame. But as you say you won't be certain of this unless someone out there has both models and can check. If the KWC L6 and standard DE are compatible then you have the problem of finding KWC parts which are quite hard to find. I'm guessing the metal bodies you ordered were for the WE desert eagle or perhaps for the Tokyo Marui. -
I'm on the lookout for kjw kc02 (asg special teams rifle) or an asg mp9 (fixed foregrip) if they have them. Or a TM mp7
