I think it's an old design. On action hobbies it says the s&t is based off the star m249 design. Star changed to ares a while ago.
-
The motor in the A&k and specna Arms m249 is not in the pistol grip. It's in the receiver. This is what the gearbox looks like. It's not a v2 gearbox. So a pistol grip from one of these won't work in a s&t m249. I hope this helps..

They did have a note on their old website saying order info and accounts will be lost on the new website. I didn't realise they had wishlists. My guess is the new website is good enough to go live and they'll iron out the kinks as they go. I wonder if they can give you your wishlist / data if you ask for it. The servers for the old website will likely still be there. Just not accessible to the Web.

This is my TM fnx45. It comes with TM pro sight and 3 mags in total. It has an upgraded barrel and hop rubber - 6.00 tightbore barrel and a prommy purple hop rubber. Shoots very well and in really good condition. It's just not getting used. I've been unable to find the original mounting plate that would go where the red dot sits. It's shooting a around 300 fps on a fresh fill of green gas with 0.2g bbx I'm looking for £185 all in. You need ukara or valid defence to buy this please.£185

This is a double eagle honey badger m904g. It's dead because the mosfet has gone. I've had a look inside and the solder has come off one of the mosfet connection points and a micro chip looks to have a little heat damage. I've tired resoldering but it's not working still. Externals are good and it comes with 1 hi cap. It's all polymer but really solid build. It's a quick change spring to so easy to open and close the gearbox. £65 including postage and fees.£65

I've got the lite sport. It shoots really well. I used it on my last game day. My only problem is the retaining bolt/pin for the cylinder likes to creep out when you shoot it. Also the cheek weld on the stock is not great but you get used to it. I'm really happy with mine. Amazing value for money I think.

Beware of the MAG 170 round mid caps. These gave my cyma p90 bad midcap syndrome. When full the bb is under so much pressure from the mag spring it makes it shoot at really low power. From memory when I filled these up halfway they worked fine.

I want to know what kind of industrial fittings are holding that slat wall up. It must weigh an absolute ton!

It's hard to tell without knowing the make of each gun. I'd guess you could get £100 for each but they could be worth more. If the brand is unknown you'll need to assume it's the cheapest. You need to Google images of "m14 socom airsoft" and see if you can work out what you have. Maybe cyma, g&g, TM, snow wolf or jg (if they made a socom variant), aps is another maybe. Could be others depending on how old it us. For the m4 just find one with the same receiver markings.

I wonder if you just need a bigger house with a 2nd gun room... I have similar problems but my challenge isnt so much how to store stuff (I just use a chest of drawers) but how to categorise and organise it. You could organise by platform, brand, part type etc. I have 2 boxes of parts but each part well labelled in a zip lock bag. I have to empty the box every time I need to find something but at least I only have 2 boxes to deal with. Bbs and gas just stay in the kit bag I take out when playing, and mags have their own drawer. Watching this thread with interest to see what other people do

Novritsch ssr63 in good used condition. I got this as part of a swap and shoots well but I prefer my sniper rifle. I've swapped the spring to get it below 400fps (my local site limit for dmr) but I have the original spring as well. From memory this was shooting 435fps on 0.2g bbs with the original. The trigger is really snappy and the rifle feels well made. It's a good gun it's just not for me. It's wired to deans and locked to semi. It comes with original spring and low cap mag (25 rounds from memory). I'm open to swaps (face to face only) but I'd rather sell as I'm trying to raise funds and clear space. I'm after £260 posted.£260

I am going to regret asking but... Vorsk parts VM9 pistol
Daveoc33 replied to Egon_247's topic in General Help
I could be way off with this but I'm sure I saw a negative airsoft video where he rebuilt his Kwa TMP (stockless mp9) with vorsk vmp-1 parts. I'm wondering if you could use an exploded tmp diagram as a guide. It's amazing there's so little online for vorsk parts or diagrams! I only had a quick look and I saw that a vorsk vmp-2 is a thing (a ruger 10/22 like thing) but that's for another thread. -
I wanted to know the answer to this as well. Gas guns can be a pain! This thread has some opinions on it but when all is said and done you're probably best off buying whichever one you think looks cooler 😁

I've been after a tac41 for a while now the price was always just in that slightly uncomfortable zone. It looks like they are releasing some new ones with polymer parts at a cheaper price point. Due spring 2024. Tac-41 lite (a tac-41a with a polymer stock) £300ish Tac 41 lite sport line (as above with a polymer receiver and hop unit etc) 200 euros-ish. They are also sticking the polymer receiver in the full length tac41 p and doing that cheaper too. I'm guessing the polymer won't be as durable as the aluminium but I suspect it'll really depend on the polymer used and the structure of the receiver. https://www.longbowbb.co.uk/product-page/tac-41-lite I'm not sure why longbow say its not compatible with the M95 Newton spring "Warning: Not compatible with SBA-SPR-08 (95 Newton spring)." https://www.silverback-airsoft.com/pdf/silverback-airsoft_TAC-41_lite_user_manual_english.pdf

https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/jing-gong-smg-5-sd-full-stock Here's the link. I have the sliding stock version of this and it shoots easily as well as my cyma mp5 that cost £200. The only issue is the hop unit is that lever at the rear of the handguard which resets itself when you shoot. An easy fix is to just wedge something in the lever to stop it moving. If these shoot like mine this really is a bargain!

This is an evolution HK416. Externally it's in very good condition, it looks almost new. It's non firing at the moment. I got this as a boneyard with a failing efcs. I removed the efcs and replaced it with a standard wiring loom with standard v2 trigger shuttle. On full auto it fires fine. In semi it fires once and stops. I'm sure this is a problem where the cutoff lever is disconnecting the connector shuttle but the shuttle isn't returning home. Therefire trigger loses contact with the shuttle. When it's in this failed state the trigger feels lighter to pull which is why I think the trigger shuttle is at fault. At this point you need to disassemble the gearbox to get it firing again. It's a quick change spring which makes disassembly a bit easier. I imagine fitting a Perun or similar will get past this problem or you could mod the trigger shuttle so it operates correctly. I do think that everything you need to get this working is here. You just need the time and patience to get it fixed and I've just run out if patience. £130 posted.£130
