I was looking for a wedding ring I wanted something different. I found one made of a coin in a antique shop and thought what interesting coins could I get made into a ring. Looking about I found a guy on eBay making rings from silver shark coins but he didn't have the tiger shark. I contacted him and asked if he could make me one if I ordered the coin to him to find he only was only an hours drive away in the car. I ended up having to go that way one day anyway so dropped in to pick it up and he insisted I took it for free as a wedding present.

Doesn't take much to make a very strong item using fiberglass cloth and the right resin. Even if you sandwich with Matting and cloth 5-7 layers depending on the weight. Most of the later masks I made are very light, only a few millimetres thick. I've been using them over 15 years and a lot of cqb. But as people say most people are not that fussed spending money on face protection. These are the heads I've amassed over the years had to smash a few plugs and some made multiple masks I'd say I'd made about 100 bespoke fg masks over the years. Most of what I've done is the more basic kit as that's what people want. It's not something you'll likely make a fortune from.

In my 20 years experience not many people are capable or willing to make the effort to make a face mold. If you can produce them at that cost go for it I would charge more.

You'll likely just have the gun struggling to cycle properly, even more so in the cold and they don't like the cold at the best of times . You know shortening the inner barrel has no effect on the external look?

Might end up not cycling as well . If the perpose is to drop the power I'd use a shorter barrel.

Slide the plate down and it allows the valve to close. Sounds like it needs a good service. Using green you may break the slide. If you want something that's reliable or to skirmish I'd not use that. A collector may appreciate it.

Yep don't work so well with the China made mesh masks. I've always made custom ones for the bolle tracker frames. As said more substantial frames are more straight forward depending on the profile. I think x800 gives a fair seal, good ventilation, easy to mount a mask.

Shaped properly it won't. but the China mesh masks even with shaping will not perfectly match all goggle profiles even after bending.
