  1. I wonder if insurance policy's elaborate in the wording exactly what "drugs" they mean. Someone playing that smokes, had a coffee or even a Mars Bar technically is "under the influence". Driving while under the influence law does state "illegal drugs" or "It’s illegal to drive with legal drugs in your body if it impairs your driving". Probably just got the tin foil hat on, but having dealt with companies in the past they will do everything to the point of lying to not have to pay up.
  2. Turn around time was 6 working days https://www.facebook.com/mphcerakoting
  3. If you don't intend to climb, crawl or your gun hitting you in the nuts every now and then its a tested method. Really popular way to carry 10 years ago. Have you tried a 2 point sling that can be adjusted on the fly? Can have it lose when in use so no chaffing the pull it tight to body when you want it out the way.
  4. Forgive my ignorance but did they actually heat and extrude the ally or just said print instead of machine? Thanks.
  5. Mine came stock with one, its just a rod that slides through the case no extra drama at all, tiss an MP5 though
  6. Mk23 SOCOM, long tight inner barrel brought up to DMR lvls of power, red dot on top. Things a beast.
  7. Nah I think you are right to put some thought into it as someone that had an undiagnosed astigmatism well into my 30s I never new why people would hype about red dots and to some extent EoTechs (although I got on with EoTechs much better). I tried a true 1-6x in a 1.93 mount last year and although a lot heaver than a T1 or an XPS I can actually make use of the reticule and defiantly have less stress in the shoulders due to the more "scope on m4 carry handle" height of the mount. I am thinking about adding a riser to bring it up around another 10mm. Sub 80m you are still going to score a hit even if you went to 5" HOB me thinks so would use the NVG height mounts if it was me. 45° RMR on a gun that uses back spin on the other hand
  8. Almost criminal your not making an AK74 mate. Looking forward to seeing the progress, thanks for posting.
  9. Just to see how fare the subconscious bias gos vs what is perceived racism. Like how people tie country vs religion vs race when really all 3 have nothing to do with the other.
  10. "To which Wang in HK replies “Wat da fluck you talk about ? I plint good nock off platches you plick !” "Hay its a mea, I is alika meat balls and da pasta da source" “Bwai, ya done know seh mi deya gwaan easy." So when you read the above quotes what person do you see in your head reading them? Are all 3 quotes racist? Is it racist to assume because someone talks that way they look a certain way? If you said Chinse, Italian and Jamaican you think the same as me. Does that mean you and I are prejudice?
  11. Just gave mine its once a year deep clean.
  12. Found one at last, just got it so no idea about the longevity but it bangs them out nice and loud https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002002987670.html? just cut the lawn on the rider mower, made a phone call and jammed out to some tunes all while wearing the headset. Epic!
  13. In the middle of adding a load of blower fans to my helmet when I came across this little gem https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/amp-arc-rail-comtac-iii-adapter now us Peltor using hobbits can still have the sexy OPS core AMP mounts with out paying out £80 for the AXL adapters or £1500 for replacement AMPs although still jelly of the 3d amplified hearing on the AMPs its almost like video game hacks. Loving this thread BTW.
  14. Been after a KDU for years, really over the moon. Only downside is its not compatible with previous gens of PRC 152, although the new 152 builds from TRI seem to be awesome. 12 watt, they are working with real PTTs, no issues with headsets like COMTACs that have dynamic mics.
  15. Mind posting a pic please? I assume you just chopped both mag internals in half and then glued the top das mag to the mid-cap/hi-cap lower?
  16. Steve, how come not a fan of CTSS? It would drive me mad if I could hear everyone else talking on the channel I was using. I do use DTS mind for a larger range of squelch tones to reduce the chance even further of hearing unwanted coms. Dose it not bother you or do you use some other type of filtering?
  17. Just got the wiring loom built by Cage/Perun. Micro switches look to have some sort of coating over the switch (the bit that the are pushes down on) so hoping it will live up to the hype of those water submersion videos that Cage posted. It use's an electronic "fuse" so finally that shitty blade fuse in the stock is gone along with basic tone info beeps, low battery and tripped fuse. first impressions seem to be good. Anyone want an photos of any of the insides while I install it? Hight of the pinon against the bevel se t from factory ETC? On the subject of BBs, I have only ever run geoff's bbs, 0.32g Tracer and 0.36g SP. Touch wood never had a miss feed or crushed BB so wary of trying any thing else. This look interesting, a adapter that uses KWA 120 round EPM mags and still has bolt lock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEeIW41gvg4 Good resource for maintenance and disassembly https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCctYtgnvuGhNogS7wxTE1-A/videos
  18. Enid so happy you posted this mate, been looking for a joke birthday present for a mate of mine and he looks about your build, what size did you get by chance?
  19. I took a glue gun and covered all the exposed solder on the micro switches and board. I have had issues that arise when using in the wet that thankfully solve themselves when its had time to dry out. Cage Airsoft brought out a new circuit that looks do have done the same, only used it a few times since but so far so good.
  20. Mine just hit the 15k rounds mark with 0 issues and was bought off here second hand. I use it when I don't fancy lugging GBBR mags and accoutrements around all day. As far as recoil go's its a bit weird as its more on the forward stroke than into the shoulder but am probably spoilt with the feel of a GHK running direct fill Co2. Talk of GBLS bringing out a Pistol as well as a new rev to the mechbox so if it was me looking to buy one and I could hold off I would wait till this time next year for the new build. No issues with grip changes and the coof got the better of me so had it in bits to do a bit of waterproofing on the electronics and is no harder disassembly wise than its TM counter parts. Thanks for the write up and review mightyjebus was a good read. Obligatory bad photo
  21. My GHK & DAS. Not messed with them for a few weeks so I think I can temp fate and say they are done.
  22. Got a Reptilia RMR mount for the bendy boi but not really liking it. Will prob end up with one of them Arisaka 45" T1/T2 mounts. Really loving the performance since swapping to Co2 although the guy down at the pub supply thinks I am doing something nefarious with all the Co2 am buying
  23. Thanks for the reply. Aye just trying to utilise the sound amplification so in theory even if playing the music you can still hear what's going on. Think I might have to get a duel PTT or something rigged up.
  24. So I have a Peltor Comtac III headset and to run the standard mic you need and amplified PTT otherwise VON is really quite. I bought a 3.5mm audio plug to go in the other mic socket to listen to music or the odd time using an android program to communicate. The issue I am having is the sound volume is super low I am thinking I need to "amplify" it in some way? Anyone know of an amp to go between the cable and the device? Or any advice on how to up the volume without going through a PTT? 3.5 mm cable https://3mpeltor.earshotcommunications.co.uk/product/3m-peltor-fl6n/ Attaching a photo as to converse a thousand words and all that. I know its very niche subject but am always surprised about the amount of knowledge kicking around here. Thanks very much for any help.
  25. Not had a chance to use it in a game yet but could not resit wearing it out for a walk with the dogs in the hills, the carbon fibre like martial in the cummband is amazing and the fact the shoulder straps are part of the plate bag spread the weight out so much better. The SPC might look like a JPC but is on another level in comfort when you start adding even light weight to it. if you have to be a tart and wear plate bags rather than a chest rig, you have to give the SPC a go.
