Purchasing an accessory from a RS retailer - risk assesment?
Chev Chelios replied to Zarrin's topic in General Discussion
Did his name begin with M by chance? If so top bloke. -
I like the weather like I like my women, cold and dry. Play all year round, go for the social as much as the playing aspect. Sites round here are a lot busier in the summer months though.

https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/brands/vector_optics overkill for Airsoft and something like a Maverick (red dot) is around £50. They also do a magnifier to sit behind the red dot for around the same price with the same name that has a forgiving eye box and around 4 inches or eye relief. For magnified the Forester LPVO (low powered variable optic) is amazing for the price point, £140. I have really expensive optics from the likes of Eotech, Vortex and Aimpoint and to my untrained eye all the Vector stuff I have tried is punching far above its price range. Dont think you can really go wrong.

So I shoot Shot Gun, sometimes firing up to 300 shells in fast succession when shooting clays. Shotguns emit 150-170 decibels. Have used COMTAC 3, FMA AMPS and good old foam ear plugs with no ill effects. Safety is important but in this case unless one goes off directly next to an unprotected ear I don't think its an issue. I have been playing cowboys and indians for over 20 years now with extensive use of pyro (with 12 gage blanks being a lot more prevalent in the early days) without issue. I can also not remember anyone ever posting about it on any forums that existed before this one.

Maybe a "Tackle smells of cheese" or "I would swap a half eaten Mars bar for that" a "welcome" reaction for when new people join. A "boo hiss" to jovially disagree with someone. Wanted to make sure its doable first before blasting out requests.

Any chance we can have some more "reactions" options to posts please? I feel my range of emotional expression is being stifled by the lack of empathic and cognitive options to react to members topics and posts. By having more "reactions" it would improve mine and I sure other users experience of an already exciting and engaging community

Rebel brand / BZ Tactical BBs jamming?
Chev Chelios replied to Rogerborg's topic in General Discussion
What a c**t, feel your pain mate. I used to use Geoffs exclusively but have been using rebels in my DAS (is a very finicky beast) for the last at a guess 15 games and has not missed a beat. I am running 0.32 though. If it was me I would drop BZ tactical an Email moaning see what they say, as they are fanatical about there BBs -
Tried a XL FMA Ops Core SF bump replica? Take the impact liner out and replace with Team Wendy (or replica) pads and I would bet you will have room to spare.

REF GHK. QC only becomes an issue where you buy. If you buy remotely in this country and get a lemon just send it back. With that said most of the QC issues come with the AK line due to (speculating) the tooling has come to the end of its life. I am a die hard GHK user but if I had to do it all over again today I would go VFC as the refined design beats out GHK with one CAVET, with the way GHK magazine are made (out of one block of metal) they can take the 800 PSI presser of direct filling Co2 (devil hunter mod) into a "green gas" magazine. Using higher PSI propellant means full auto mag dumps, being able to move a heaver recoil system and less weather dependant. Now onto the trigger weight. Both system can easily meet the trigger pull weight you are after with an aftermarket spring or just bodging it by bending the stock one. Now like a real firearm the "bolt" resets the trigger so the stronger the hammer spring the more force is needed to cycle the bolt rearward so you may need to invest in an NPAS, lighter Buffer Spring and Buffer to balance the system TLDR without my ramblings, its a much of a muchness and I think you will be happy with either system.

I would start by shimming the guide rod so the slide has less to travel. If this improves the snappiness remove the shims, chuck a heaver recoil spring in and up the PSI of the gas to something like 220 (Vorsk V12 is nice and dry) and should be gravy.

Thoughts on the the GDR15? uses a battery but is a trans GBB with 30 round mags and without a battery it technically is a springer.

Is taking adverts down a normal thing? Not something I have ever done. I just mark them as sold. I think your right, first thing we need to do is see the add. My character is worth more in the community than the price of a pistol so if it was me I would offer to source a new lower or offer a full refund. Claiming on the insurance (even if it had enough to cover) will likely not pay out due the the nature of the item. Having issues like this just sucks and spoils the small moment of joy getting a new toy. Hope you can come to a resolution.

THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.
- Wanted
- Used or as new
After a kit box around 200-230 litre. Wheels and handle are essential. Failing that if you have a link to something new that's suitable I would be grateful if you posted a link.NO VALUE SPECIFIED

Some strange helmet pads. They seem to be a somewhat a copy of the HHV pads. Hoping they work, as they should help a lot with cooling. Posting on the off chance someone has them and would care to share what they are like. Any ideas to stop spiders nesting in my helmet if I end up using them? -
