  1. They appear to be ITAR restricted so odds of getting a genuine one is not good. If you know anyone in the states they might risk sending it you.

    not firing

Hop should not be stopping the gun from firing is the gun dry firing ( if you put a gassed but unloaded mag in the gun and fire it) does the gun cycle?

BBs rolling out sounds like you have double fed the gun. That shouldn't stop it from firing. Have you checked the mag is holding gas if you have done everything else suggested. There is a valve on the back of it there should be serious resistance if you push on it. If there is not there is no gas in the mag. You should be holding the mag up side down when filling the mag should take 10 Seconds to fill.
  4. Has anyone tried the 3d printable quick release holster file available on cults3d https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/mp7-holster not sure I'd trust it but a quick release with a kydex sleeve would be good.
  5. Have you tested the chrono with another gun just to make sure it's reading consistently? Also what ammo are you using a miss shaped BB could cause the drop. Next I would check the barrel make sure it's not damaged, hop unit make sure rubber is not damaged or and loose parts in the unit it's self. After that it would be open up the gear box check piston seals though odd it's not consistent.
  6. If you watch a few negative airsoft vids on pistols he likes to fit metal kits on to TM 1911s and he states you don't need to upgrade parts to get them to cycle fine it will just cost performance so is the feel and weight worth the trade off for you?
  7. And the only good CO2 1911s are KWCs. They are howeve prone to leak (CO2 in general) can be hot depending on time of year and how new the bulb is.
  8. Cyma ak74 side folding stock. I want to swap the polymer furniture for wood at some point.
  9. I ordered a CYMA AK from Daves customs it did arrive just within the 2 weeks
  10. It requires more force to compress a stiffer spring so unless you up the pressure it will slow the the gun cycle rate. Anyway point being with out using a higher pressure gas a metal slide will reduce performance and using a higher pressure gas will run a greater risk of the gun breaking. If the OP wants a metal slide Guarder is the cheapest you should go and no after market metal slides, even the high end stuff is drop in. They all require modification to fit right.
  11. just don't you'll make it perform worse. it will cycle slower due to weight and the additional force required to over come a stiffer spring.
  12. So was doing a frame swap on a 1911 and I unintentional made a sacrifice to the airsoft gods when despite my best a efforts a sear spring flew across the room to who knows where. I really resent paying £8 for a set of replacement springs, so is there any way to find out spring specs so I can just order off an ebay seller?
  13. No GBB works well sub 10 degrees it switch to AEG weather. TMs are not designed to run on higher powered gas they will but you run a greater risk of major failure and just prematurely wearing out parts.
  14. but its a Krytac so its stupidly over priced. if RostokMcSpoons is not interest in the Galil can i get some details please?
  15. high caps are very cleverly designed but tend to miss feed mid caps do not. Galils are just nicer looking AKs as far as I am aware only the ICS versions have a functioning ambi selector but not heard anything bad about the other brands.
  16. SA80 has crap ergonomics and a good one is expensive, the fn2000 is suprisingly bulky as in wide and quiet a few people i have spoken to found the grip angle uncomfortable ( not personally but i find the P90 really comfortable to hold). AUG ergonomics are all right the cross bolt safety is not really ambi but most manufactures put the notch in it to make it a fire selector as well, the grip angle is good, the trigger guard means you can wear large gloves, folding foregrip is very useful, the hop is a well designed rotary and the gear box is a standard V3. the major selling point of the AUG is it can be field stripped and the barrel can be changed quickly (granted you then need several outer and inner barrel assemblies) not majorly useful but it is cool and good for transport. cons it does have a long trigger pull but that's not really a problem and mag changes aren't as easy as an armalite style gun. So out the three i'd get a P90 red dot with several MAG 170rd mid caps. failing that Civilian version of the AUG( the built in scope on the military models is crap no matter what manufacturer).

it's in French but the review shows range and accuracy for the smith and wesson https://www.popularairsoft.com/news/timerzanov-airsoft-umarex-sw-model-29-3-co2-revolver

I have owned a 6inch ASG Dan wesson never had any issues but range and accuracy is not good. could hit a target at 20m. The Umarex have only just been released this year and no idea who actually is the OEM. not heard good things about the king arms poor power and leaks badly.
  19. Heads up on the Thompson the ergonomics are not good, the Stock is not really good for shorter/small people (the guns designer was a tall man)
  20. Have you spent time on the range to set the hop and actually check the range? If not do that. Then leave it alone until the hop rubber wears out and just change it. TMs are designed to do what they do very well and consistently. You are going to spend a lot of money to get your extra distance and will most likely loose the reliability of the gun. You may never sell the gun but unmodified TMs hold their value upgraded TMs don't.
  21. Don't keep the gun gased between games and lube the seals regularly and you should be fine.
  22. Do not buy asg or Kwa mags as they are based on KSC system 7 mags which have different feed lips and knocker valves. HFC and Well mags are based on the KSC version 1 mags
  23. Being Airsoft there is no guarantee that mags will be cross brand compatible. I just bought a battle axe ak drum mag and I needed to sand the back of it to get it to locked in place on a cyma ak. So you should where possible stick to same brand as your gun and expect to have to modify if they are not the same brand.
  24. Almost as much as the gun but it needs it https://www.octagonairsoft.com/product-page/spas-12-folding-stock
  25. There is a model gun forum for blank fire replicas
