HP has appeared in more film/manga and TV than some guns TM has made.  Also as stated they have made Springers   Sun Projects, ( there was another classic one two, cant remember who ), Tanaka and WE have made GBB to, so its odd TM hasn’t.

    Maybe VFC will make one.

There are lots of guns TM haven't made ( though rumor is they have prototype for lots and lots of guns). Even with popular/famous guns question is how many variants can they get out of them? even though they have Spring HPs a GBB will be a ground up design with new tooling. what other guns can you put those parts in to max profits?

Apologies for the thread revival, thought it best not to open a new one.

Does anyone know how long UK Customs take to check a RIF import?

I ordered a Specna Arms from Gunfire in Poland which arrived in the UK last week. At first it was checked and released by a Government agency, I was charged import fees, so far so good. Then it went in to the warehouse and hasn't moved since.

I contacted UPS to be told it is being held for a customs examination.

Does anyone know how long these examinations usually take?

Anything from a few days to my worse was 6 weeks. I think I have heard of worse.

Valid comments however Army made a nice clone of the recoil M4's (I've got one here that works a treat) and CYMA knocked out a recoil AK which was slightly better than the TM version because it took normal AEG AK mags straight out the box.

I still think TM lead the way as all the other innovations have either been expensive, failed or both. Systema PTW, ICS split gearbox, GBLS, TOP shell ejecting AEG to name a few.

Now it's unlikely TM will be reading this but just in case, hurry up and make a recoil G3 and stick a mosfet in the M4 recoil platform.

I did not know that thanks for the information. Does the CYMA have the lock on empty function? Since the MP5 came out I am hoping a G3 range is on its way.

TM's lack of innovation is just getting more and more staggering haha

People keep saying that, but what exactly is a massive innovation that another company has made? Everything is still fundamentally based on TM designs. I notice no one has cloned a Recoil other than the AA12.

  5. From a marshalls point of view yes you shouldn't be subjected to a MED, but other than giving lower powered bolt action/DMRs highly visible tags it's too much of a ball ache trying to distinguish who should have a MED. Especially having to constantly deal with with players who don't understand what a snipers role is and try to do base clearance with a high-powered gun.

As far as I know, pf48 is the only service that accepts rifs, I'm sure people have used other companies without declaring the true contents but it's not advisable.

Also, regarding swaps, my rule of thumb is that the person with the least history sends theirs first, look at feedback/post count/time as a member, definitely don't rush in to send to someone who has just joined.

Parcel force 24 is fine and royal mail now take RIF but the insurance won't cover them

Though it may be common for airsoft marshals to be unpaid volunteers this is a poor model for the airsoft industry, it’s more of the norm in paintball for Marshall’s and other staff to be employees.

This is the model we are stuck with. Airsofters bitch about greens as it is none of them would be willing to pay what it would cost to have a fully staffed up Airsoft site.

  8. It's mechanical then same as any other TM 1911 (except the later generation models but still some parts are useable) with out the rail the gun just looks like a short 1911 with a couple of holes in frame.

Only if they're working for another company contracted to provide security etc, staff directly working "in house" don't. The only exceptions to this are door supervision in licenced premises or vehicle imobilisation (NI only)

Most Airsoft marshals aren't working for anyone. They are generally volunteers who get reimbursed travel expenses. The whole data security and employee issues would make running body cams legitimately and nightmare.

The ukara require 3 games in no less than given period, does it specifically state a maximum period? If it doesn't and you can show attendance beyond the minimum time surely a record of bookings is enough to obtain the defence.

If a site has online booking them the bookings with a user account say, then the bookings themselves should serve as evidence enough for a ukara register entry.

Never seen anything in writing but considering UKARA has to be renewed annually with in 12 months would seem the max.
