The latter, & on here they usually get called out on it, the exceptional ones get "honoured" with a mention on "Macks" ?

There's a lot of stories about people's experiences importing rifs, some good & some bad, problem you have is that if yours gets stopped & you can't provide proof of a legal defence, there's a good chance it may be destroyed, or a slim chance it will be returned to the sender. Alternatively (fingers crossed?), yours may slip through the net without anybody spotting it (but I wouldn't hold your breath ?) One member in particular has a lot of experience in importing from Italy, & the pitfalls when stuff gets stopped, @Asomodai will hopefully be along soon to enlighten as to if you have any options, in the meantime keep tracking your parcel if possible, might allow you to intercede if it stops moving & you've got a rough idea where ? Good luck

I don't even have an mws, but scrolling through the forum on my phone it previews part of the last reply, the text above was what I saw?, needless to say I had to click on it to get some context, otherwise I'd have probably had bad dreams tonight lol

It does, & in the hands of someone with a bit of common sense it would probably never be an issue, but with advent of social media & the established open forums, people feel the need to show things off or share their work. Hence the need for some common sense when it comes to lawful stuff, making deacts able to propel projectiles, even if it is low powered bb's is an obvious (to some?) no-no.

Any recommendations on active noise limiting earbuds?

#MeToo, probably a combination of everything that went bang in the military long before anyone considered hearing protection, motorcycles since my teens & years of power tools, especially all the metal cutting? Not sure what pisses me off more though, the fact that it never stops, or when my missus stops me & says "can you hear a funny buzzing/ringing sound", I've given up replying, I just give her the "look" ? -
To be fair Joe publics got feck all to do with it, it's the armed police that can't distinguish between a gun & a chair leg that concern me ?

But do they really care ?, stating it's going "abroad" is a perfect excuse & as airsoft rifs are generally free of serial numbers it would be ridiculously difficult for the judiciary to prove otherwise, & highly unlikely that they would ever attempt to anyway. in much the same way that most uk retailers have had no concerns about selling hot guns, & most players don't find this out until they get to a site chrono (or not?), & returning them to the retailers usually results in another fee for "downgrading" ffs. its a bit like us here, new member comes on & first post is to ask about painting his two-tone black & any legal repercussions, being the fine lawful upstanding members of the airsoft community we are, we'll give him chapter & verse on why it's a big no-no, but the truth that we all know is that no one will ever know, & no one will ever ask, & the only possible way this could come to light is via a likely deadly confrontation between said player & armed police, the kind of lunacy that thankfully is rare as fuck, but also remains the biggest threat to the status quo of our sport. companies like eagle6 know this too, but they also know that yootoob videos are like money in the bank when it comes touting for business, so worth the potential risk. obviously I'm a cynical old Cnut ???

Yep, made in the UK means the law has been broken, plus do I necessarily believe their "disclaimer" that it's going overseas ?, probably not as surely given how overseas limits are generally considerably higher, would the buyers not expect the output to be closer to their limits ? Just saying ?

Knobitch ssp18 apparently , that threaded barrel/extension may make focus holsters an issue as on the light bearing models they use a spigot that sits in the muzzle, in addition to a trigger guard snap lock ?

Nothing increases range and fps better than a nice paint job ? Plus it's monetary value skyrockets ? All jokes aside though, if I bought a brand new gun, whether it was a £120 cyma or & £600 recoil, if it then needed money spent degreasing or shimming etc, I'd be returning it to the retailer as "not fit for purpose", for either a full refund or the issues to be corrected.
-
If it works, just use it until it doesn't, use the time between those two points to gain the knowledge to enable you to sort most problems when or if they occur. I've personally never used a "tech", & given some of the horror stories I've heard over the years, I probably never will.

I used sad face cos "you had to say it" ? To be honest it's been probably 18+ years since I stopped using textile holsters with the kinds of pistol that have the potential to dump mags, if I remember correctly I lost 2 G19 mags in 2 weeks, but I can't actually remember if back then I had a taclite fitted, probably not ?
-
-
I've also got 2 of those, 1 black & 1 dyed green, but to be honest I've barely used them, as like many material holsters they don't fit well with all pistol designs, they can dump mags without your knowledge, so the only pistols I'd 100% recommend them with would be those that have a mag release on the actual mag well base, such as a Ruger mk1 or similar. Where possible I always recommend hard shell or 3d printed holsters to prevent mag loss
-
Quick search didn't come up with anything, might be worthwhile trying to find a 3d printed option, or maybe a usw type kit that can be fitted to yours. Or maybe a black hawk omnivore or one of the nuprol EU light bearing series might fit. Unfortunately your pistol is relatively rare in use, even less so with a light fitted, so finding someone who's already overcome your problem is unlikely, only alternative is to take the pistol & light in to a retailer that stocks the holsters I've mentioned, again not necessarily feasible. Best option, find an online retailer that will take a holster back if it doesn't fit your setup ?
-
Probably some point over next couple of weeks, if I'm honest I'm doing my best to get out of it, but if all else fails I'll make it worthwhile, book a travel Inn & get a last minute game in.
-
Probably rules both out then? Sounds really wimpy, but I'm like a dalek when it comes to stairs or steep inclines at the moment, pissing me off, I used to be like feckin mountain goat ?

Hey guys, the wife wants me to travel up to Redditch (approx 200 miles from me) to collect something for my granddaughter, obviously I told her she's effin barmy, & her reply was "you'd do it for an Airsoft game", which got me thinking, is there an absolutely epic Airsoft site near there, or on the way that I could hit up & make the trip worthwhile ? I'll be travelling up from the South Kent coast, only thing I can't do is stairs or "hilly" due to my bolloxed knee.

How so ? No issues with mine cycling etc, & accuracy is good, bearing in mind that I have 2 tm hi-capas to compare it to.

I've got the korth, lovely looks & feel, plinked a bit in the garden but I've yet to skirmish it so I'll have to get to you on that.

LOL, they've got some front, considering their past history. ?
