While I'm all for a bit of "tinkering", why make a molle bandoleer when there's already a few on the market, some of which are fairly cheap but still well made, & as for the back, well just get two & put them together ?. Personally, I love the bandoleers, been using them for years, got 3 I think🤔, & knowing how much stitchwork goes in to them, I'd never try to make one, not a cost effective use of time & materials.

Not being a big AK fan I had to look up the replacement models your talking about, the amd-65 definitely looks cool, & if the GE one comes with their newish fancy fire control internals, sounds like a win win at that price 😁

Agree with all the above, plus rushing in to join a team, particularly one that's based at sites local to you has its pitfalls, if later on it transpires that you actually don't like or agree with the "playing style" of the team, leaving it but continuing to use the local sites may be awkward to say the least, much better to attend the sites, work on finding your likes, & observe the regulars, particularly any established teams, judge for yourself if they're any good, if they play honestly ?, or have a dodgy reputation ? (some teams are notorious for cheating), & eventually you'll know whether or not team play is for you. In the meantime you'll have great fun & meet mostly like-minded decent people who just enjoy the game for what it is. Good luck 😁👍

& to be perfectly honest, unless you behave like a total twat, such as brandishing it in public or shooting it at your neighbors pets etc, therefore bringing yourself to the attention of the authorities, no one will ever be any the wiser. I've seen people mod trousers with a couple of improvised belt loops sewn on the seams either side of the knee, then your kneepad straps looped through them. Means they stay at the right height, but also don't need to be stupidly tight, virtually cutting off the circulation.

Me, I have no understanding of the science of piston volume Vs barrel length etc, but I do know about decent hop set up trump's pretty much everything else, but in 20 years of playing I've seen long barreled guns with the accuracy & range of a garden sprinkler, & short barreled guns, such as my mates TM MP7 AEP, that had the range & accuracy of a NASA laser. So take a chill pill, accept that all our "guns" are glorified catapults, there are no guarantees, even with the most expensive ones, & enjoy the forums.

To those of you that are, & can make that extra effort to get back in shape, whether its weight loss or training, well done 👍,it'll benefit you in more than just Airsoft. But to those of you that like myself (found out today I'm now waiting on at least 3 surgeries), & face a bigger struggle, but are determined to still get out there in the meantime, consider your loadouts ?, more importantly don't feel the pressure to necessarily go "fully loaded", myself I've sorted a molle grab bag, pouches on the exterior mean I can access 2 pistol mags, 3 hi caps for any of my platforms & a 1L Nalgene bottle with ease, plus any bits I need to carry in the bag, fully loaded it still weighs about the same as my favourite warrior chest rig when it's EMPTY ffs, that's a big weight saving plus I'm not wrapped in many layers of tactical nylon, which in itself is enough to start you sweating before the first whistle............. Just saying, if fitness or health is an issue at the mo, don't kill yourselves just to look more 'leet, it's not worth it & will definitely spoil your first games back 🚑

No, personally I'd only move Comms away from the forum if the member I'm dealing with has a massive history here, & feedback to match, anybody else I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
