Agree, I'm a bit of a water snob anyway, i only drink the tapwater at home if its boiled in a cuppa, most tap water seems to have a "taste", & usually gives me a sore throat ?, wtf that's about I don't know ?. But most supermarkets own brands are more than palatable, especially when ice cold, so I usually chuck 8 litre pack in the chest freezer the night before, time I need it on site it's started defrosting nicely? While site owners have a reasonable duty of care to clients, it's shouldn't leave them out of pocket just to protect the Darwin award winners amongst society (all your doing is delaying the inevitable lol).

Damn right, plus your average bellend knows what he is, & probably shrugs off the insults, but insulting a blokes missus, that's like a kick in the balls?

Managed to click on the title instead of the latest post, so started at the beginning again, scrolled down, I know everyone is shocked about how long he's been getting away with it, but I think I'm more horrified about how pigging ugly his bint is, that is one wretched looking witch, clearly he's not using his ill gotten gains on beauty treatments for her?

I thought the schools don't break up til next week ?

Geartechs jobs are awesome, even the ridiculous bright nerf style paintjobs look right, no easy feat. I've painted a few of mine in the past, nothing fancy, which I think is where some guys go wrong, trying too hard if you haven't got the arty farty skills. Mine were just some random dustings in no particular direction or order , with krylon obviously, as I think that's another area that guys go wrong in, yer Halford etc colours tend to be too bright & too shiny, too artificial, krylon rocks?

Cats, yeah I get that, but my divvy Niece called her first kid Fred 7 years ago, no issues, & then 4 years ago had another sprog, AND CALLED HER ROSE FFS. & we're like "really, Fred & Rose" & she's like "I don't know what your getting at" ?

Dude, it's an appraisal thread, if you want to make him an offer do it via pm

For anyone that hasn't seen it, probably the most awesome shootout ever filmed? Just watched it for old times sake, now I want another FNC ?

Dean's are a definite improvement over "baggy" tamiya's, & can be bought with about 4 inches of wire already attached, much easier than soldering the actual contacts. Mags I'm sure are fine, but be aware that pretty much all bb's will degrade or swell if not kept 100% airtight & out of the light, sunlight or artificial, they're more temperamental than gremlins lol.

Welcome back, I've got a tm m4s that's probably been in regular use for 18+ years, never even serviced, & still performs great (I've just jinxed it haven't i?), so if it's doing what it's supposed to, get out there & use it, I just hope that the "upgrades" you've already done didn't allow the TM pixie dust to escape ?

No disputing it's a cool bit of kit, but it's not cheap for an occasional Airsoft loadout that's fairly limited in its use, for example, no Hydration capabilities, would I want to wear a full suit just to achieve the "look" at this time of year ? ? PS, wasn't there an rmp covert vest not unlike that for considerably less shekels ?

I remember back in the day when these were a "thing", sought after & expensive, but the fact that at least 2 other manufacturers have made their own capable versions will knock your price, plus the faulty rear stock, unless your able to repair it ? Your only saving grace, as has been pointed out, might be the internals if they're of a suitable high quality, although I'm doubtful given that back in the day internal choices were limited & not always high quality ? Currently best price, £150-£200 if it works OK Edit, my apologies, just reread & seen the recent upgrades internally so I'm assuming it works fine, if they're a proven good quality, stick another hundred on the price so ballpark 250-300 ?

Cool toys at work (Real steel content)

Lol, my googleFu is weak, I've tried cross-referencing everything German made in 7.62, I'm thinking a 417 variant but the 12 inch barrel is stumping me & pushing me towards an mc51 type carbine. ? -

OK, so no pics, but what did this new "sooper gnu" resemble, m4 variant ?, bullpup ?, you can't leave us hanging? -
Definitely, British army always trained to be competent first & foremost on iron sights, often at extended ranges, those are the skills that never leave us?
-
Let's be honest, if you were attempting to run a professional site, how hard would it be to have some laminated sheets at a permanent chrono point for immediate reference, along with a selection of proven weight, decent quality bb's & one each of most platform mags. I never get why most sites call people to a hastily prepared chrono, usually balanced on the edge of a makeshift range, & usually manned by one lone Marshall while all the other Marshall's stand together in the safezone swapping war stories & generally doing feck all ?
-
But it not even a proper "policy", its massively flawed, & policed by an idiot who's only qualification is that he's the "Boss", & woe betide anyone who questions otherwise. As always the only way it will be addressed is if people start to vote with their feet, give him a few gamedays with barely any revenue, & also get word out there of this screw-up so that hopefully the staff become aware, not only of the communities displeasure but also to educate them about where they're going wrong & how best to correct it. Yep the guys a dick & yes he needs Karma to give him a wake up call, loss in revenue will probably give him the biggest wake up call, but no one, me included wants to see any more half decent venues lost for whatever the reason, so if anyone knows him or his staff, give a nudge & a link to this thread, if he comes on in "God mode" we'll rip him a new one, or maybe he'll learn something new (if he's prepared to) ?

Spot on, quite literally for the average Airsoft engagement, the ability to be able to point at your target, should be enough for a reasonable level of accuracy, it's literally "shooting 101". Obviously there are some cack handed cross eyed exceptions to this, but thankfully they're in the minority ?. But I get it if a dedicated sniper wants to zero a sight perfectly, hitting first time is advantageous if you don't want to give away your position trying to cock for a second shot. For the rest of you it's essentially "dressing up your dollies" ?
-
How do you use it ?, for example if you said you practiced a dmr/counter sniper role in predominantly woodland sites, with quite a lot of camping?️ & sneakyness, then I'd say yeah, get busy painting?. But if your more active in an assaulter role, don't bother, not much gain & prob wear & tear will soon degrade your paintjob.

It's not just night games though is it, some cqb sites are pretty dark in places, half a dozen of you might be tiptoeing along a dark corridor in single file, employing all your ninja tactics, when the guy bringing up the rear turns on his super bright taclites, silhouetting the rest of you like the spice girls coming on stage at wembley?.............. BRAAAAP, your all dead.......... Thanks "Carl" you twat?
-
No, & the fact that its no longer available probably indicates that it wasn't that good ?
-
HPA aside, are there any other moody rules or behaviour from those who run/Marshall the site ?
-
Is this kinda heavy handed attitude common towards HPA users ? I thought one of the main reasons for using HPA is its adjustability ?, the ability to quickly retune according to site limits or BB weights ? Obviously there has always been the contentious attitude by some, me included, that such a system is open to abuse, but surely sites should be encouraging players to monitor any changes during the day & reduce output if it becomes necessary. As such, permanent chrono station should be an option ?, if HPA etc isn't a "flash in the pan" that's not going away anytime soon then more should be done to encourage its correct use ?
