Me personally I wouldn't use an 11.1 on anything I'm currently running , I've owned one 11.1 & while it definitely made things "snappier", it also spun the motors waaaay too fast, some mags struggled to keep up & it made everything I own sound like a "wanker gun", plus as I only use semi 99% of the time, every time a gearbox cycled & then tried to stop itself itself, made a horrible sounding "kerchunk" like it was hitting a wall, that can't be healthy in the long run ?. 🤔

Mate, I did start off by saying no offence intended, & I meant it. End of the day, Airsoft guns propel bb's, it's their only purpose, irrespective of rrp. If yours are doing what their supposed to, why blow your wad ? Every few weeks we see a new member post, asking about upgrading, many of whom haven't actually even fielded the guns in question yet. It gets tiring lol. How do yours perform on the skirmish field ?, what's their fps/range/accuracy like ?

Killbox: Taking Airsoft to the next level

Those overhead rails, it looks like a defunct hospital somewhere, probably preparing to get knocked down anytime now, the timing of which will perfectly coincide with the demise of the "Killbox experience" 🤣 -
Yeah when I said "cheap & mediocre", I meant to also say "but more than capable of skirmishing", cheap doesn't also mean bad, just that there are limits of financial viability, otherwise it becomes a very expensive triggers broom. I'm no gear snob, no shortage of cyma/JG etc in my armoury, all of it stock & more than up to the task.

How do they perform, do they: 1.shoot straight 2. & have a reasonable fps, by reasonable fps I would say 250+ for the pistols & 285+ for the rifles. If points 1 & 2 are achieved, then leave them alone internally, they're not broke so you can't fix them so to speak, & attempts to usually go one of two ways, the manufacturer balance is upset & they end up worse, or alternatively you chuck more than their worth at a "tech" (?) just to gain a small improvement (hopefully). Now, no offence intended, but 3 of the 4 brands you've purchased are considered to be cheap & pretty mediocre in the scheme of things, chucking more money at them isn't gonna drastically improve quality or value. Essentially, if they work OK, use them until they don't, that could be a long time potentially, & when they finally do break, sell them for parts & get the kit you really need. As for the external cosmetic, your only limits are your imagination (& wallet), do your research as to what you need, which is not always what you want lol, it's easy to waste money on unnecessary dead weight that looks pretty lol. You don't need to send them to anyone, plenty info & guides on the net, diy👍 Edit: man above has faster fingers than me, but we're both singing from the same hymnsheet.

Badly thought out hairbrained schemes that involve Airsoft, usually touted by by prepubescent middle class eedjits with tiny amounts of life experience/Airsoft knowledge/business acumen ?. Nah, I've never seen anything like that posted up on an airsoft forum 😏 -

So, 7 friends agree to go to a secret location, pay loadsa wonga & sign a waiver that says "do what you like to me". What could possibly go wrong lol. .................... -
What your saying is, the Facebook analytic bots have scrutinised the content of your more recent posts, & have ascertained that you must be childlike.......... Any of us could have told them that & saved them some time 😜😂🤣

Lol, right about now @Killboxis questioning whether this forum was the right place to announce his new venture....... 😂🤣😜 -
Something I've done a few times, never had to then rely on PayPal but better to have it & not need it etc. It is concerning though that the seller only wants unsupported payment methods, & still want people to pay over rrp.
-
The OP thinks pointng out his kit is dearer than rrp but without any retailer associated support, is actually a personal attack on him lol, maybe he's a bit "woke" Anyway, £103 from a retailer or £120 from this guy.

I feel so superior now, my first aeg was a K😜

Anyone know where i can get one of these holsters:
Tackle replied to Dan Robinson's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Thinking out of the box, what about a single P90 mag pouch, either bungee top or velcro flap, with a polystyrene packer to aid fit in the space from trigger guard to barrel tip........... Might work well ? 🤔 -
"bullets" fnar fnar 🤣😜 Lighten up pal, in essence your asking legitimate players for assistance, even if it is only information, on how to manufacture a section 5 firearm, nowt else you've said mitigates that, not here or in the eyes of the law. Doesn't matter if you use it 5 miles from the nearest public boundary, in the unlikely event you got nabbed, maybe travelling to or from said private land, & anybody is in the ensuing chain of authority investigating your rif & it's abilities is non pro Airsoft, we could all potentially suffer, given that many of us have many many years & considerable financial investment tied to the game, any change to the status quo is likely to negatively affect us, so salty responses are perfectly justified all things considered. & yeah, rather than stick an overpowered spring in a mediocre quality gearbox, likely drastically shortening it's lifespan, get a half decent air rifle, more power & accuracy, & the the ability to hunt live prey (vermin obviously), if your shooting grounds are suitable ?

The stockless Cyma's are thin on the ground at the mo, but the pdw variant is available, run as is or just change the stock for an end cap. Alternatively pay a little more & get TM's version...... https://www.airsoftdb.com/search/?q=Cyma+Mp5k&r=uk&s=t Why talk about upgrades before you even own one, most brands are competent & will hold their own in all but the longest engagement distances.
-
As above, mp5k is awesome, & there's loads of options for securing them, real steel & Airsoft. If your adamant on a battery powered sidearm option, the K is the most versatile out there.

10 in a mag, if I don't hit my target with the first couple, I'm playing the wrong game lol. Seriously though, while I don't play as a sniper, I do only use single shot generally & where possible play as sneaky as fuck, so pistol is usually a last resort versus a rifle mag change or malfunction, most days I'll end up emptying it before going in to the safezone for the last time, so the mag capacity really isn't an issue for me. If anything, I really really enjoy games with tight enforced ammo limits, makes you think hard about how you play & really levels the playing field, those are feckin fun days, without the usual hose fests. 😃
-
Guys beat me to it, no aep will take an 11.1, & if you tried to convert it to take one it'd probably implode on its first outing. Cyma do some OK variants in aep, p226/glock/hi-capa & desert eagle, possibly more ?. On a personal note I've just picked up a umarex H8R c02 revolver, gen2 (with hop👍), 5 disk mags for £50 s/h, initial test was excellent on .28's in 200ft garden so looking forward to gaming it, it's a definite willy extension, dunno if that's your thing lol😜
-
Lot of factors to consider ? For pistols summer or winter play determines gas efficiency, in winter c02 more reliable than gas, but aep more reliable than c02, but usually at the expense of fps. What kinda sniper are you ?, 100% committed to being the sneakiest motherfudger, so you'll want to consider a quiet pistol for med- kills in order to not give yourself away, so nbb such as mk23 or Ruger mk1. For less sneaky play you can consider any gbb pistol, whatever floats your boat cosmetically, I personally recommend the TM hi-capa 4.3 or ksc G19. OR Are you a player that likes to mix it up, happy to switch from sniper to assaulter as some games progress at a faster rate, in that case consider a stubby aeg, maybe an smg or cut down m4, but be aware this all has to be carried, maybe all day, so look at polymer bodies rather than full metal. Lots to consider, more info from you may help us tailor your needs ? PS I see you play at imperium, I'm in Kent & it's on my radar for a game as soon as I can🤞🙏

Mate, usually I'd be inclined to agree but all we asked for was a couple of pictures to ascertain provenance (something we ask of every member), op seemed determined to avoid that one point, lots of grammatically incorrect pitiful excuses added to the repeated poor quality copy & pasting reiterate my point. As to how potential "Glennie's" approach their target audience, nothing is off-limits when it comes to separating a fool from his money, when the "too good to be true" approach runs out of steam, why not go for tugging at heartstrings instead, with the added incentive of grabbing a bargain from an alleged grieving widow apparently naive to stuffs true value. I'm happy enough to be "that guy" if it means it might stop fellow players being turned over, God knows I've seen it happen enough times in 22 years of playing. EDIT, Nowadays I only tend to surf here & Zin when comes to s/h rif sales, anybody noticed "her" kit come up on any of the other selling sites ?, or able to search the pics to find where they originally came from, which I think is the case here ?
