  1. My bad, they were long gone by then, I grew up around there & they were the only firm in the area that had that kinda kit, but when I came out of the mob I couldn't actually afford to move back there, well not to buy anyway, poxy yuppies lol Edit: I've just had a flashback to my childhood, if not sof it must have been Regimentals, tiny little shop on the Essex Rd, they'd have gear going back to napoleonic times, & plenty of deacts.
  2. Was that from "soldier of fortune" ?, used to be in torrens street down the side of the old angel station.
  3. LOL, I probably did, but we're so used to going off on a tangent as we relate our own experiences with kit we're discussing, thought I'd point out the elephant in the room 🤣 Definitely a +1 on these, way better fit than having to ratchet your chinstrap down to stop the lid moving, not a good look if you've got chubby chops🐷
  4. Everyone is forgetting murphys/sods law, you wear a helmet, you get hit in the ear, you wear a mask, you get hit in the Adams apple, etc etc, the list goes on.
  5. To be fair he is from missouri, the same state that last week a women mixed up her oven with her crib, with tragic consequences 😢
  6. I wonder if that can be done, but with the option of other regions being screened before membership is approved (like some fb groups do), after all we have got a few European & USA contributing members. If thats possible, maybe the demi-mods can have access to the screening process, in order to reduce the pressure on the god-mods. ? 🤔
  7. Agree with emergencychimp, why ? I've got a couple of lids to match camos, but only wear them if there's a chance I'll be banging my head, such as when I played the ucap tunnels, but other than that I find them cumbersome & unnecessary, & revert to a baseball cap or boonie.
  8. Got rid of one last night, & another just now, but yeah, what da fuq can they get out of it, has anybody ever clicked a link ?
  9. Are you attempting to sell stuff as an intermediary ?, or wanting advice on kit. Where are you located, if your in the USA it's unlikely anyone will trade with you, too many risks, & are you aware this is an airsoft only site, while some members use some real steel attachments, uses are limited due to importation laws. Please give a better explanation as your post comes across like poorly written spam, in which case your time here will be brief 😏
  10. My tuppence, is the package worth the price ????, because if it is, whoever gave it away is obviously a super duper guy, but, no offence meant, slightly naive, in the best possible philanthropist way😏. Although to then post it up for such a greedy markup on THE SAME SITE YOU GOTTA IT FOR FREE FFS is a bit of a piss take, & all stick is well deserved 🤬
  11. I don't know shit about hpa (other than your all cheats😜), but surely your mag capacity isn't the issue, doesn't the hpa cylinder & all the gubbins in between remain connected & continue to feed said mag for as long as there is sufficient pressure on your bottle/tank ?
  12. I think that's a wife thing, 20 minutes tinkering with a gun & they get all whiney, but when they've got a project that requires all your waking hours, no issues then lol
  13. Can't argue on the Hydration bit, but the dms were terrible, low cut & fit like wellies, made worse by the fact we had to wear putties with them. Got my mitts on some urban patrol boots, they were like comfy slippers in comparison.
  14. Not a fan of sigs generally, but that definitely looks better👍
  15. As a young squaddie in the early/mid eighties I dreamt about owning a pair of these, but could never justify them as they would have cost me about 3 weeks wages, or beer tokens as they were better known🥴 (no such thing as dry January back then, or any other month lol🤣)
  16. @Jedi_Master @proffrink Guys, What was the outcome on deterring the spammers etc ?
  17. What do we reckon, fake as fuck ?, if so, definitely a Macks contender🤔 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166582605454?hash=item26c918d68e%3Ag%3AoEEAAOSwg1Nlv86D&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwFkKDaVVvawp%2F3jTqczxrrEhCLd%2FNhU5fxZpQnm17yR4TYLxxKXmnP5uqrqQnblC7BP9uq49lX0exmTqBJSLYk%2FAJhb7BokiEZz68qzgwk8LAiYSp5gViBQci30sPDjVt7aZifO5exRozROYWlUvFRD%2BU4sPAgR8%2FIpSTOOpN3zlcmAGEyvqgBuT8nsGXd9I4ZXaS12y1lxcMNoK%2BL9LDY2LM9qAxBmGXETONIWa0FMJy6NpA%2Foz8LqAewWBkMW7NQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8SqhOKuYw&LH_Auction=1
  18. Sure that's a "C", looks bit long, more like a K ?
  19. Amen 👆 I remember before impact drivers were a "thing" walking in to thanet tools for some stuff & the guy on the counter says "here, think you can drive this massive coach bolt in to 6 inches of solid oak", we laughed at him but had a go, gripping the drill with both hands ready for it to lock up, "nah, one hand" he says, & it was like a hot knife through butter, following week I bought one, previously the idea of spending £250 on a cordless drill sounded ludicrous, but I reckon it paid for itself in a month🤯. No, you'll need a drill with variable speed, & some good quality drill bits, job like that you need slow but with torque. No one you can borrow one from ? (can't believe I just said that😱)
  20. I'd err on the side of caution, for the sake of a £10-£15 battery, is it worth the risk ? Might combust when in use in a rifle, wrecking the gat, or worse, when being charged at home, doing god knows what😱
