  1. Yep, but he can't do anything, & the senior admin get a notification & I assume delete him completely, that right @Jedi_Master?
  2. @Grayz1980, no need to suffer with the plantar fascitis, get your gp to refer you to community orthopedics in your area, & then immediately chase them up, tell them it's affecting your ability to go to work & causing massive financial strain, they'll rush through an appointment & you'll probably be offered an injection at your first consult, it hurts like a mofo but usually works within days. They can probably assess the other issues & advise on best course of treatment to go for. But that's not to say don't consider the private route too, it'll be a quicker way to get custom made insoles for your arch problems, but not cheap. Regarding footwear, no two feet are the same, we can all advise you on good quality stuff that suits US, but might not suit you. In my youth as a young squaddie I could wear literally anything bootshaped & still outrun a greyhound while wearing full combat loadout, but nowadays, years of injuries & wear/tear have screwed them royally, had plantar a few times on both feet(never went on its own, Always needed medical intervention), broken bones (currently nursing 2 fractures in my 1st metatarsal that occurred in March & still not healed😭), & a crush injury more than a decade ago that needed two ops, the second removed a toe, & still gives problems. My own personal choice in boots currently are Belleville TRU minimalist, super light, cross between a combat boot & a boxing boot, awesome for me, but whether they'd suit you is anyone's guess. Good luck, it's gonna be a bit of a journey for you. 👍🤞
  3. Damn, I should have gone to specsavers 🤓 I've now got rid or the right wrongun, Jedi will reinstate the wrong rightun 🤔 There's a lot of dodgy mofos with positive feedback, weirdly usually from fellow new members who are equally as dodgy
  4. LOL, great minds & all that👍. Out of interest I saw you mention on an ad that your no longer UK, whereabouts are you located, & what's the Airsoft scene there ?
  5. Give us his username, we can ban him, but hell probably be back with a new username in a couple of days 🤬
  6. That's nothing, the wankers at Metro went with the headline : "Man who made billions out of death and killing dies at the age of 94" As has already been pointed out, its existence may have potentially saved more lives (good ones anyway, the scumbags probably had it coming😏)
  7. The missus got me the latest mw3 (PS4) for Xmas, only had a chance to try it for half an hour, kinda disappointed that it's mainly old maps tarted up, leaves you feeling shortchanged ?
  8. As someone who was looking to "upgrade" from 4 to 5, are the actual graphics etc enough of an improvement to justify the additional expense. I don't actually get to play that much so I'm reluctant to buy an overpriced paperweight, especially as my lad is an xbox user (poof😜), don't want him taking the piss out out of me too.
  9. I used to keep a length of curtain wire in the Kit, already plastic covered, stiff enough to push or pull but flexible enough to not damage stuff, add a small crimped ring at one end that's covered with heatshrink at the joint, perfect for adding a small cloth strip for cleaning.
  10. Hey mate, didn't immediately recognise your username so thought you were a noob, shock horror when I checked your profile & see your more akin to a Chelsea pensioner in forum years lol😜. Jokes aside, getting in to sniping is a big step, your mindset & fieldcraft is just as important as your gun, maybe more so. Whats been your playing style up to now, & types of gun you favour ?, I ask as when players have previously mentioned getting in to the sniper role, I'll usually recommend trying a hybrid role first, think a single shot dmr role using their longest most accurate gun & focusing on the fieldcraft (& patience) aspects, no point in shelling out good money on a rifle & possible upgrades if after 5 minutes of concealment or crawling, you want to run towards the firefights.
  11. This👆, I've no doubt some, possibly all the work done is dubious at the very least, but raising issues 18 months later is open to all sorts of interpretation & assumption, not least by the "tech" your accusing who will throw counter accusations your way. Gotta ask, has anybody else had issues with this mob, because if their public profile is viewed positively, doesn't give your claims much credibility ?
  12. There's a few that like to fiddle on here, usually while looking at their gun collections😏
  13. Before I'd opened your thread, nomex immediately came to mind, I'd search "nomex short gloves" or "nomex tactical gloves" & see what comes up. 🤔
  14. I'm refusing to get involved with this thread, it's downright foolhardy & dangerous, what if my missus got hold of my phone, let's just say it'd be a closed casket service ⛪😬
  15. Got to agree, manufacturers allegedly try very hard to match their components, you've thrown 3 non matching brands together & this is the result. Had this been more "old skool" tech you would have probably got away with it, but as you've already pointed out, the extended mag follower is part of a much newer tech design feature, limiting it's compatability. Thankfully it's just a nozzle, an easy fix but a valuable lesson for everyone who reads the thread.
  16. Literally had a "kinda" conversation about this on a sales thread this week, when I checked Pf48 I could only see a compensation range of £100 to £200, dependent on certain conditions, & could see no option for an enhanced insurance. Admittedly I didn't dig that deep but I suspect PF have quietly moved the goalposts, whether its a seasonal thing or more long term I don't know. ? 🤔
  17. I get it entirely, & I agree 100%, but at the same time it's hardly reasonable to expect a buyer to throw caution in the wind by doing a bank transfer & hoping stuff arrives, either due to incompetent delivery services or sellers ripping them off (which I'm not suggesting you would) Hence why I originally questioned is it collection only, as its the only way to guarantee satisfaction for both parties. Regards to parcelforce 48 compensation limits, it came up on their website on the day I posted, maybe their are ways to increase cover, at increased cost, but the page didn't readily state that. As for your ebay/PayPal story, got a couple of my own that highlight the clusterfuck they're running, which is a minefield to navigate, all I can say is I've always remained persistent & not lost a penny when it comes to claims/disputes, makes me think it's time for a new thread highlighting this stuff & a way through it ??? Good luck with the sale, I've got the A&k version, which I collected from the seller lol.
  18. In fairness to you, yep PayPal are still stating firearms & anything else "gun like", including toys isn't covered, thing is I've had 2 refunds previously, one an airsoft rif, one an air pistol, both arrived faulty & were claims I escalated & both settled in my favour (even though the sellers both counterclaimed, & tried to say the items weren't covered, wankers🤣) . I've just now contacted PayPal for clarification on their terms currently ?
  19. Lol, just got told off, laughing in bed is apparently frowned upon in my house🤣
