Yep, testing shit is definitely only to be done in an empty site, & no one signs a waiver expecting to be exposed to homemade crap, never mind that the already feeble public liability insurance (if they even have it ?), would be completely voided by using homemade launchers or pyro.

@Joe Caliandro you mention "silly mistakes" by youngsters, care to elaborate on what they were ? Also, the term "horrific" is surely overly dramatic on your part, it's the kinda word one uses if someone loses an eye, or suffers a life changing complicated fracture on site ? End of the day, safety issues MUST be addressed when identified, failure to do so will damage more than just their reputation, a thumbs up just doesn't cut it. 👍😏

Welcome Joe, everyone's entitled to an opinion, that's what makes this place great, Colin shared somebody elses review, someone he knows personally so he has no reason to disbelieve what he was told. He & I had discussed this a little a week ago & he was reluctant to disclose too much info until the site had been given the opportunity to respond. I'm guessing they chose not to, or their response was inadequate, hence why this is now in the public domain. I'm gonna make an assumption that the reviewer, & his family, aren't first time players, & that the issues they've highlighted, particularly safety, aren't what they've seen elsewhere, which would explain why they felt the need to share their gameday experience. Thing is, I've played some atrocious sites, issues at every level from safety, to marshaling, to the game scenarios that are set in place, I've come away horrified, I've spoken to marshals & owners, & on a rare occasion shared my thoughts online, but the latter is usually after I've gone back & given them a second, or even third chance. And throughout this, I'll hear players extolling the virtues of the site, either on the gamedays I attended, or just in general, & the only conclusion I can come to in order to explain the disparity between my opinion & theirs, is that they don't know any better, they haven't experienced a top quality well run site, so to them, it's literally the adrenaline fueled dogs bollocks. BUT Any failings are on the site & it's staff, that includes how players behave, anybody can cheat or act like a cnut, but if that behaviour is not nipped in the bud, it speaks volumes about those supposedly in charge. & if word gets around it gets worse, decent players stay away, but the cheats & arsehole arrive in droves, before you know it, it's akin to twa Croydon, & nobody wants that lol🤣 PS. I will be attending the site personally at some point, it's not far from me, & if I experience anything similar, I will be very vocal about it😏

Is airsoft not "a thing" where your planning to go mate ?, when we were thinking of going to southern Cyprus, where airsoft is technically illegal but there is an "underground" network of players, my kit would have been buried deep in a cargo container under all the mundane crap. Take more than a silly old law to make me quit lol.

Having a very stressful few weeks, health shit, family shit, it's all coming on top, so I figured out to de-stress I need to buy a new gat, ideally s/h as I squeak when I walk 🤣, but what to get ? Kinda like a g&g n23, it's different, slightly old skool with it's fixed carry handle, but I dont like it's internals being reliant on 11.1 lipos. Thought about something gas but if I'm honest I much prefer the simplicity of c02 capsules. Or maybe an electric shotgun, worth having ? Help guys 🤯

Ask for more pics for starters, & mix it up by asking for specific items included in the pics, weirder the better, maybe a green toothbrush balanced on a tin of spam alongside today's newspaper with their username scrawled on the front page. If he does all that your probably good to go, but don't get lax with the payment, paypal goods & services, or cash on collection..........NOTHING ELSE !. If your swapping kit, my rule of thumb is whoever has the lowest feedback sends their stuff first, & only when you've received it & happy with it do you send your half of the trade. Also, if your the seller, make time dated vids of stuff working, in case the buyer tries to say its faulty via a PayPal claim, I had someone sabotage a gun & mags to make a false claim, the video closed him down full stop.

While I really do sympathise, members do have to put in the effort if a deal goes sour, we cant just ban a member because a paypal dispute didnt go your way. BYT in your case, bearing in mind that I don't have the full facts, you should be disputing the outcome with PayPal, not necessarily because they sided with him, but because he hasn't returned your goods, that should be a given in their mediation process. If your attempts at this have failed so far, maybe because some very polite people from the Philippines have politely made promises to look in to it (& then done nothing), you need to push to speak to a UK based agent who will hopefully have a better grasp of what's gone on & the unfair outcome. I'm speaking from experience, getting the right agent can turn things around. Again, without knowing the finer details, you could contact the online fraud dept of the police, you have his name & address, & I would hope you have some proof that the lies you alleged he told to paypal to support his claim are just that, blatant lies. This would also then give you some credibility when approaching paypal. Good luck, just don't give up.

Ditch the dump pouch, its just wrong,& sell it separately. While I have little, actually no knowledge of its rrp, to a reenactor/period airsofter that's gotta be worth £60 +/- ?

Thing is, it's not like he hasn't got paypal, he has but his outright refusal to accept goods & services even if you cover the fees tells us that he's either: A. a shithole scammer Or B. what he's selling is crap/faulty, & he's trying to screw you over. Yep, bottlenecks can destroy a site's reputation early on, something they don't always recover from.

To be fair to everyone here, if its a safety issue, shite gameplay, or even a massive amount of nepotism, all of which are common occurrences, then surely it's in the public interest to know, any one of us could blow the green fees, as well as a considerable amount on fuel & much valued time travelling to a site just to be thoroughly disappointed, & then times that by maybe 30+ players who make the same mistake ?. Unless it's something really horrific, not even gonna mention the possibilities ?, then most info is a fair game. Also it should be considered that sites aren't always aware of failings unless players speak up, they can't fix what they don't know about ?. IMHO 🤔

Yep I know, & while I agree with you, he's staying JUST within the forum rules. It's not even like his prices are reasonable, but no one is forced to buy from him.........suckers lol

I've noticed this too, I've asked the senior mods to clarify the rules on this. There's always been players trying to pass rif as "new, or as good as", whether it's alledgedly been on a wall or sitting in a wardrobe etc, we know that irrespective of this it's s/h, no warranty is implied or given. But if a retailer makes these claims, who's to say the items in question aren't just lemons that have been returned to the shop ?.
