Seriously, get over yourself, as has been pointed out it's a pre built template, it allows for small mods in order to give it "character" etc for the subject it's used for, but doesn't have the flexibility that a dedicated website would have, surely you can understand this being a software engineer god ? 😏 No one has attacked, merely pointed out that your clearly overly sensitive, maybe in your day job you're the lord of all you survey when it comes to your role, but here your the same as the rest of us, just be grateful to have this platform to discuss everything airsoft, I know I am, I'm an airsofter first & foremost, & only help out here primarily to deal with the spammers & scammers, if I can help members with anything else I will, or point them to someone who can. As I pointed out, yes I've experienced it, but it's no big deal, so no, for me it's not an issue. & The ever increasing member list here tells me they're not getting a "bad user experience" either. 🤣

Things have been improved, but it's a relatively slow process given that the admin team do this for nothing, & believe it or not they have lives & jobs away from here, so apologies if they don't drop everything to address your little bugbear. As for profit, pretty sure the costs of keeping this site alive "for the community" far outweigh any revenue generated from the tiny inconspicuous banner at the top of the page.

Based on what the op has told us, I'm torn on this one. It's always good to see new blood in the game (no pun intended), my lad was 8 or 9 when he first played, woodland mod site with very strict agreement with the organisers that I'd be close to him all day. He's just turned a youngish 27, got 3 pistols & 4 aegs, in bags in his room, BUT no bbs/gas/batteries, they're all under lock & key with my kit in the garage, I got him in to this, so if he or one of his mates lost an eye messing about, I'd blame myself (as would my wife probably). So the idea of some 10yo kids being let loose in a cqb environment, without parents playing at their side, let's just say it sounds like the opening scenes of an episode of Casualty on bbc1. For me, the only acceptable option is the dads (or mums) start playing too, get to a woodland site & experience it for themselves, understand the risks, & make the journey in to airsoft together.

Yep the picture scrolling "arrows" are a bit sensitive, especially with my podgy digits, but works most of the time, & when it doesn't it's no hardship to use the back button. I can't see @proffrink wanting to tinker with it too much, currently everything else is working, sometimes fine tuning triggers other issues.

I've no issues opening images, they don't become secondary tabs, so possibly the issue is your settings or the browser your running. While I can't remember what browsers I'm running, my tablet is different from my phone, but both work fine.

I'm not even sure some of them can read 😏. Probably all HPA'ers 😜

To be fair there's no category on this forum that has even a tenuous link with witch-doctor potions etc, but that didn't stop them bombarding us with posts. I think these prats just look to get in absolutely anywhere with their bs posts, in the hope that someone clicks the link either out of curiosity, or shits & giggles, which I'm guessing then opens the door to phishing viruses etc. But we're definitely getting a lot less reports of moody sales, or even the Wanted ads being targeted. Makes me think of ny when rudy gulliani was mayor, he insisted the police target all crime, even littering, the direct result was all crime, even the serious stuff went down, the thought process being that if you can't get away with even the minor stuff, what chance have you got with the bigger stuff. Here even other members are pointing out rule 5 infringements, maybe that very public show of community vigilance is making scammers think twice ?🤔
