  1. Looks fine to me, I think that's your cataracts mate🤪
  2. Saw this on fb, seems apt to share it with my fellow old bikers
  3. Welcome Sofie, whatever dad posts in the "what I've just bought" thread, you can't tell mum about it😏

also - the reply to "how much did that cost?" is ALWAYS "£30".

^^ Or "I won it in a giveaway"

  4. Can't believe I've not posted here, here's my Ducati multistrada 100ds on the day I picked it up, looks a little different now, pillion sissy bars gone, replaced with a decent top box for touring potential. I've also got a yam xt600e, in bits at the mo for some tlc & I decide if I'm gonna chop it about ? 🤔
  5. Agree, never stripped a sector gear, pistons tend be the weakest part of the "chain" & goes first.
  6. LOL, I want that one, so I can slide it under my sons bed at about 5am🤣
  7. Read the forum rules Marcus, put a proper thread in the classifieds, ideally, as your new here, with some pics with your username and the date handwritten on a piece of paper within the pics, kinda proof of life thing 😏
  8. Hey Frank, you might want to amend your title, your pics suggest your selling a 6mm Airsoft pistol, but your title states "Airgun" which would be against forum rules & possibly put off potential buyers.
  9. I want one, I'd happily wear it, but threads like this have put me off ordering. It's a weird situation & probably the only aspect of the forum that anybody can be critical of.
  10. I never asked a question, just made a generalised statement which fits this situation, to say you've been too busy to take 5 minutes to pop back here & answer pertinent questions sounds like bollocks to me.
  11. My take, these days Airsoft is only as expensive as you let it be, every bit of the highest quality kit has a budget equivalent, same for the guns (aeg's), obviously gas kits a bit different, but there's no reason someone can't be game ready for as little as £250, maybe less if you punt around the s/h classifieds. Same goes for green fees, a days fun for as little as £25 if you've got your own kit, very few other sporting pastimes compare to it, even renting a squash court for an hour is about £15. Paying a bit more for rental kit to give you the ability to qualify for ukara is a relatively small price to pay if your planning to stick with it.
  12. @OutdoorPleasures, you should know better🤔
  13. It actually happened at a game I attended, richborough power station, wasn't impressed, she had a spotty arse🤢
  14. Probably all the people that got them around Christmas, it's taken them this long to realise how shite they are 🤣
  15. If your a criminal reading this thread & are thinking about turning an IF in to a RIF, look at the pretty light 😉
  16. Spot on Ed, funnily you mention your biker friend who plays (you a biker too ?), as a biker myself I've experienced similar in that you get talking to people who've never ridden, some can be quite enthusiastic about it, but others act like your the lunatic spawn of Satan for riding motorcycles & your probably a criminal who shouldn't be on the roads. Obviously as a biker who also has a gun fetish, I must be an absolute thundercnut. 🤣
  17. LOL, my most recent trip back to Central London, all the phone boxes seemed to be purely used as khazi's 💩 🤢
  18. It's a difficult one, changes in society haven't helped. For example, 40 years ago every youngster & his mates chased each other around with realistic looking toys & no one on the street gave them a second look, the miltary was treble it's size, & there was literally a waiting list of people wanting to join up, in London almost every borough had a ta Hall, cadet units representing all 3 services (+ plus the marines), surplus stores aplenty, & very little gun crime, essentially lots of things to nurture interests in shooting pastimes & there was no stigma applied to anyone remotely interested in anything "gun shaped". Fast forward, sprogs in nurseries & primary schools are forbidden from even fashioning a pistol from lego, the army is tiny & can't fill it's ranks, a massive proportion of the ta & cadet units have disappeared, a small number of terrible gun sprees have massively impacted all forms of gun ownership, coupled with commonplace gun crime. All of this has changed UK societies mindset on guns & associated pastimes. Needless to say those of us that are hooked have an uphill battle to encourage others to consider joining our ranks, or even turning out once for a "taster" 🤔
  19. No, your entitled to them doing the job their intended for, they're not selling them as carpet slippers lol. Clearly there must have been a fault there, defective or poor quality materials ? Wipe the worst of the mud off them & return them for a full refund, I wouldn't even bother with an exchange as clearly their not fit for purpose, the real McCoy that they're based on would last at least six months in the worst conditions in south east Asia.
  20. I agree, no one really gives a shit what we do, and as long as there isn't a sudden torrent of crimes involving Airsoft replicas, the authorities will continue to kinda ignore us. Imports are another matter, while we're told its all about national security etc, the truth is it's really about revenue generation, everything coming in is receiving extra scrutiny, driven by brexit & the covid debt. As for your selection of parts, no offence but you've struggled to get them to work together, a potential buyer would have to be as equally commited to get a working pistol out of them, safe to say only a genuine airsofter or similar, such as a reenactor would attempt it, not a chav or criminal looking for a short cut to getting a rif.

@Jao as above, take your own pictures ASAP, with your username within them, if you can't do that you'll end up on the banned list, using someone else's pictures is a mahoosive red flag. Recommend that no members enter in to any deals on this until the relevant pictures have been supplied.
  22. Regards number 4, SWISS SKIING GOGGLES, these are unlikely to be suitably rated for use in airsoft, feel free to correct me if you can prove otherwise & they are suitably marked, or have paperwork to prove this, otherwise you should probably pull these from the ad, their not Airsoft & therefore against forum rules. Plus it'd be shit if someone lost an eye because of them.
