@WillMidz, to be honest, ive got a silly amount of guns, prob 6 or 7 shotguns, prob 5 or 6 snipers, maybe 7 or 8 bullpups, 8 pistols i think, & prob another 15 to 20 of various m4's, G36's, m60, M14's, AK's, aug, VSS, FAL, G3, FNC & prob some I've forgotten. I have favourites, such as my cyma M14 socom, but to be honest for a first gun I'd definitely recommend something that takes stanag mags, that way when you buy a back up rifle, there's a lot to choose from that should take the same mags, definitely will make life easier for changing guns mid gameday & your pouch setup. What to pick, most brands are pretty good quality nowadays, it's as much about what you like the look of ??

@WillMidz welcome mate, nearly all of my guns are stock, never serviced or upgraded, unless something breaks, which is very rare & even then I'll usually only replace the broken part. One of them, an early tm m4s, is at least 23 years old & probably had in excess of 100,000 bb's through by myself & mates, it's not even had its hop rubber replaced in all that time. So I think it's safe to say, aegs on the whole are very reliable, & nearly all cases of early failure I've seen is because they've been tinkered with, sometimes by the shop techs. So play your first game, if you like it (you will?), get another couple of games under your belt, & then the world's your oyster as they say.

Hey guys, Got an AA12 that I'm yet to field, but I've realised that I don't have a rifle bag or hardcase big enough to fit it in, the length isn't an issue,it's the width thanks to those monster sights & handguard (at its widest point it's 34cm). Briefly looked to see if the sights are easily removable to reduce its height, but didn't seem to be & I didn't want to force them for fear of breaking them. I like to keep all my gats in suitable protective cases, especially when transporting them, wondered how other AA12 owners have managed ?.

That does my head in, fuckwits who haven't figured out that they could end up answering the same questions a dozen times ffs ?

With their history, I'd start a claim or dispute now, don't wait until they go under again, get your money back now, & if they actually crack on building what you originally paid for, nothing to stop you reordering when they can prove they're in stock & ready to be shipped.
