Hpa has feck all to do with accuracy, but more consistent than gas, but everyone with hpa cheats anyway 😜
-
Nope, single shot only, & I forgot to mention some sites also insist on a time lapse between shots, "only one in the air" etc, to stop trigger spamming.

Legally, the gun shouldn't be capable of full auto if its fps exceeds 378+ on a .20, obviously any site worth attending would veto it as it would invalidate any kind of insurance, making them 100% liable. But some dodgy players try to secretly keep the ability to enable full auto, claiming its the only thing to remedy gearbox lockup.

Why not just buy this one, stick a bigger spring in it & your ready to go, mags n all, £200 (or less 😉)👍 https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/64299-cyma-platinum-sr25/

Any gun can be finicky, but gas more so, especially with temperature changes, different power gas etc, assuming the gun itself is set up perfectly ?. Unfortunately a raven pistol isn't any kind of benchmark to judge gas guns by, well maybe the bad ones 😏. So aeg is the way to go, but then you need to consider that some sites expect a dmr to be based on a real world dmr equivalent, not just an m4a1 with a barrel extension. Also dmr fps can vary from site to site, 450/420/400/378 are all fps limits for dmrs I've seen previously. With that in mind, once you've narrowed down your choice, you'll want to make sure the contenders have a quick change spring system, it's the easiest way to alter power output at short notice. & don't forget it needs to be single shot, ideally mechanically incapable of auto fire, as most sites won't accept dmrs that have restricted fire mode set by mosfet. I'm sure someone else will tell you what best out of those you've mentioned. Good luck

I think we as a community need clarification on how EXACTLY does the system work (or how its supposed to work but doesnt😏), what inter-agency communication there is, including how involved the carriers can be, & what we, or the offshore retailers can do to ensure the process is as smooth & trouble free as possible. Who here is a member of, or ideally involved in the hierarchy of any of the airsoft associations such as ukasa (might have got that acronym wrong ?) ect, maybe they can be convinced to open dialogue with ukba/hmrc/carriers to ascertain the precise process, & look at addressing what's going wrong ?. My take is it's likely lack of knowledge along the chain, retailers not labelling goods properly, & carriers/ukba/hmrc not knowing enough about airsoft & it's limitations, being blinded by the fact our kit resemble a gun, so therefore must be a gun😱

Everything that EvilMonkee wrote is correct, & couriers, such as ups, face large fines if they fail to adhere to the rules set by hmrc (& ukba).

If it's the genuine magpul, I've seen them up for as much as £650 s/h, Rocketdogbert was a particular fan of them if I remember🤔

We've had members here for years with no posts, just lurking lol. Re JohnnyBravo, can't see anything suspicious, all I will say is if anyone chats with him about selling, keep it here, don't be convinced to talk on WhatsApp etc, scammers love it, it protects them.

On the move at mo, I'll look him up shortly, scam or eedjit, it is the school hols after all🤣

Thanks for clarifying that, I should imagine that now most EU suppliers are paying the duty at source, they're focusing on other regions for maximum revenue generation 🤬

Last year ?, so did you receive that order ?, if so is this relating to a new order ? 🤔
-
I've got the cyma socom, it's stock & even on .20's the range & accuracy has been excellent, & not fussy with brands. I suggest you wait till it arrives & test it with whatever you've already got before buying a load more.
-
Hey Josh, time for a claim I think, but the tech/shop ?, need to initiate it as it appears to have happened on the return journey to you ?.
-
Free postage though 🤣

Well done mate, looks awesome, sorry I never got the opportunity to pop ip & help you with it, maybe I can when you put the first floor in 😜

Hi Guys, Got a great jacket, bought about 5+ years ago, been worn casually by my son a few times but the condition is still excellent. Features include the obligatory velcro patches on the upper arms, as well as numerous pockets on the arms, chest, & back. It also has pit zips for extra ventilation, a peaked hood that can be rolled down to make a collar, & the jacket itself can be rolled up in to it's own back pocket, as shown in the pics. Only possible issue is the size, I bought it as it was advertised as a 2xl, but it was very snug on me, further research led me to believe it was actually a ladies 2xl, which would explain the size discrepancy, but to be honest there's nothing feminine in the jacket itself, hence why my son was happy to wear it. If it helps, the measurements pit to pit are 22in, so a 44in chest, & arm length from the armpit is 21 inches. Price is "all in" via a signed for service. Thanks for looking.£35

@Ayman Small what Cannonfodder said is spot on, reason being is that paypal only allow you one dispute per transaction, so if the seller convinced you to cancel it, & then didn't deliver the goods, you're fooked.
-
Yep 🤔, & none of his stuff is marked as sold either ?
-
I'm going to lock the thread before it gets silly, op has an opinion based on his experiences, others here have a different view.
-
Aah, his first paypal transaction, that explains it, you need to make sure he's sent your items, he's not likely to see any money until you receive what you're owed. Explain this to him & tell him he'll have to add tracking details to the transaction info on PayPal, showing his parcelforce48 reference number.

Moral of the story is, don't leave expensive kit in your vehicles, theft from vehicles has been rife for decades, particularly in the big cities, blaming the current negative perception of policing is just a cop out, no pun intended, I've never heard of a vehicle being broken in to that didn't have something of interest visible to passing scrotes.
