  1. No, your entitled to them doing the job their intended for, they're not selling them as carpet slippers lol. Clearly there must have been a fault there, defective or poor quality materials ? Wipe the worst of the mud off them & return them for a full refund, I wouldn't even bother with an exchange as clearly their not fit for purpose, the real McCoy that they're based on would last at least six months in the worst conditions in south east Asia.
  2. I agree, no one really gives a shit what we do, and as long as there isn't a sudden torrent of crimes involving Airsoft replicas, the authorities will continue to kinda ignore us. Imports are another matter, while we're told its all about national security etc, the truth is it's really about revenue generation, everything coming in is receiving extra scrutiny, driven by brexit & the covid debt. As for your selection of parts, no offence but you've struggled to get them to work together, a potential buyer would have to be as equally commited to get a working pistol out of them, safe to say only a genuine airsofter or similar, such as a reenactor would attempt it, not a chav or criminal looking for a short cut to getting a rif.

@Jao as above, take your own pictures ASAP, with your username within them, if you can't do that you'll end up on the banned list, using someone else's pictures is a mahoosive red flag. Recommend that no members enter in to any deals on this until the relevant pictures have been supplied.
  4. Regards number 4, SWISS SKIING GOGGLES, these are unlikely to be suitably rated for use in airsoft, feel free to correct me if you can prove otherwise & they are suitably marked, or have paperwork to prove this, otherwise you should probably pull these from the ad, their not Airsoft & therefore against forum rules. Plus it'd be shit if someone lost an eye because of them.
  5. I'm a bit cynical when it comes to 11.1 lipos, if you have any concerns about the viability of any of the aegs, you might want to invest in a 7.4 or two, definitely doesn’t put as much strain or pressure on your gearbox as an 11.1 Worth considering 🤔
  6. To combat the numbness I tend to change hands when I get to 99 😉
  7. Welcome back mate, wondered what had happened to you, a few members disappeared around the same time, I just assumed @Shamal had upset you all ? 😜
  8. @mowej, to echo what BigStew said, we're an airsoft forum, probably less than 5% have dabbled in thermal/nv kit, of that 5% the number of members who've used it with "proper" guns & the associated recoil etc, would be miniscule given our draconian gun laws. A suitable USA based firearms forum would be a much better option for getting pertinent up to date info. Welcome anyway, & good luck.
  9. Agree, my similar bugbear was with UK retailers selling guns too hot for UK sites (& UK laws) & expecting you to pay extra to "downgrade" 🤬. Although I haven't heard of it happening so much in recent times, maybe it's been addressed ?
  10. While I'm no expert, from memory I seem to recall that some of the early co2 pistols used to run hot, so much so that initially most sites had a blanket ban on co2. The later stuff seemed to be more regulated for power output, which forced most sites to reconsider their earlier ban, although I think they still like co2 to go through the chrono. It sounds like yours is a "gen 1" model ?
  11. Seriously, your aeg's should be fine, you'll take them to a tech, he'll pretend to agree with you, at best maybe squirt some lube through a straw in to any available aperture, wipe it over & test it with a charged battery, & charge you an an arm & leg for the privilege. Your gas kit might have issues, but again nothing too difficult to sort yourself, most issues can be sorted with some spray silicone lube & some tpfe tape & bathroom silicone sealant if needed, it really can be that simple.
  12. Your not gonna open a site, your a dreamer who's too stupid to think & research before opening your mouth.
  13. Bring it on little boy😘
  14. LOL, big man, now I really do want you to open a site, so I can come down & politely kick the shit out of you😜
  15. Don't be a dick, this is probably the most accomadaing forum/page around, but your question regarding "wot gun" wasn't relating to one for plinking in the garden (which in itself can have legal ramifications, consider that a friendly warning), but to a much bigger picture with regards to starting a site. You've had an answer, g36c is a great rental gun, leave it at that, but again be aware that in your current state, it's likely you cannot even buy ONE all black gun, never mind 30+, & no one will rent a two-tone, horrid things. Wind your neck in, use the search function, & if you need to ask further questions, be prepared to get replies that may admonish you, what your planning isn't straightforward or easy, otherwise most of us here would be doing it & raking in a fortune 😏
  16. @Polyscript chill, some of us have been at this for literally decades, posts like yours are ten-a-penny, & 99% of them never come to fruition, of the 1% that do, half don't last beyond the first year. Hence why some of us can be a bit cynical when we read first posts such as these. As has been pointed out, to get a good understanding you need to ideally be playing, visiting the best rated sites to see how they do it, comparing your potential site to others, what features does yours have & how can it be improved, assuming the landowner will allow alterations. No ones gonna want to visit a flat featureless open field, that's gonna get boring 5 minutes in. Then, assuming you get to the point of opening the "doors", you need marshals, you need multiple game scenarios THAT WORK to keep clients interested, the list goes on & on, come back when you've played a few games & tell us about it & what you've learned, you'll get a much better reception than asking to be spoonfed info.
  17. Hey John, as the learned man above has pointed out, 6mm Airsoft only here, but you could head over to zeroin, it's another Airsoft forum (not as good as this one😏), but they do allow air pistols & rifles to be sold there in the "other weapons" categories.
  18. I'd be wary with ares mags, they're well known for not always fitting other brands of gnu. As @Rogerborghas said, an M4 mag well gives you so many more options for size/style/capacity. 👍
  19. Yeah, I actually started to wonder if I could mod my dynatex for a slimmer body ?. I think dynatex came first, had mine 20 years at least.
