Good on you for asking, but as above, you're fine to do it - and practically speaking, as long as you use it sensibly, it'll never be an issue anyway. Sorry to hear that the flash hider is glued on. You can generally use heat to deal with that, if you can get the plastic handguard away from the metal bits. Also, have you checked that it's not a grub screw holding it on? They can be hard to spot.

Specna SA-C12 CORE not feeding. Now gearbox rebuild.
Rogerborg replied to Dan Robinson's topic in Electric Guns
I've checked with him, and he says it's not a "good" way, just a way. He reckons he mostly did it because it would make Skylaar on Reddit go shouty-crackers, but it hasn't caused any problems. Any fairly heavy oil should do, through any holes that give you access to the gears, used sparingly - he just had some low fling chainsaw oil to hand. -

Congrats on the working gun. You are now over qualified to post on Reddit. Hard to tell from a video, but I'd have a fiddle with the motor height and see if it'll hush down even more. -
That's a tricky one, as if you luck out and get one from a decent production run at the right OEM, they can be fine, and have reasonable features for the price. But the fact that they change OEMs, QC, and their product lines more than a typical airsofter washes their socks does put a huge question mark over them. I'd say they're still worth a punt at the low end, but they can forget any aspirations of going up-market while they're pulling bait-and-switches.

Ahoy, welcome, and great choice of gun. What Lozart said, but how much is it off, and in which direction? Apologies if this is "Bro, I know" territory, but is the hop dialled in? An unhopped BB will drop rapidly, and an over-hopped one can go whanging off into the sky. MP5K hops with the forward-backwards slide adjuster can have a very small sweet spot that's hard to hit and hold. So you'll want to get the hop dialled in before even thinking about the sights. This will require a 50m+ range - not the local dogging woods! - and ideally someone to stand off to the side and observe the bb trajectory.

Er, but if you read the T&Cs of any other courier except for ParcelForce 48, you'll find the same prohibition and similar terms. I'm not sure who's being scammed here. Stuff tends to get through anyway, couriers don't seem that bothered. If your sender has been unlucky, well, that's luck, not a pattern.

Only if you contact him on Facebook to offer him the lift that he's oh-so-subtly asking for...

To be fair, I had a RIF delivery refused at the local UPS pick-up simply for being too big. These points tend to have very limited storage.

I've been pleasantly surprised by a Valken Annex MI-7 mask. The plastic and padding isn't as comfy as the Dyes, but the dual pane lens is decent and - in conjunction with Revision wipes - I've not managed to fog it up - and I'm very good at fogging up eyepro. Or you cut out the bottom quarter of the plastic.

OK, but we need to know what's wrong with it now. What weight of BBs are you using? What energy is it shooting them at? Are they sufficiently hopped? BB trajectories can be tricky to see when looking down the gun, it helps to have an observer look at them from the side. Opinions vary wildly on the ideal trajectory, but I like to see flat, then a little lift at the end, and a sharp drop - this indicates that there's sufficient hop on it. If you go for flat and then drop without a rise, you'll never be sure that you've got enough hop on. This is what I go for: Then there's consistency. Where are the BBs going? Ideally you'll test this by strapping the thing on a bench and taking the human out of the equation. Just shoot a bunch of BBs in exactly the same direction, and see where they hit a target. The answer to those questions will lead to useful suggestions for what needs changing.

Eventually, arguing the toss all the way. And first you'd have to get a refund from JD based on UPS saying "We did so deliver it". It's not far off the point where a video doorbell of some sort is a necessity to not get nobbled by this sort of shenanigans.

What they said. That's properly buggered, you'll have to get the gearbox apart and see what's grenaded. -
Jeepers, so he was. Fuck 'em then, running, and sideways: counterfeit eyepro is unforgivable. https://team-black-sheep.com/2017/02/04/lancer-tactical-boss-arrested-at-shotshow/

Urgh, airsoft. UKARA is meant to record site membership, as per the 2007 defence memorandum, and it's a site number that's assigned. But there's nothing stopping sites from having multiple types of "membership". It's entirely up to the boss geezer. Best of luck.
-
Yes, there's a post in the Supporters forum about it. If you know anyone who knows PHP and has the time to dig in, @proffrinkwould like to hear from you.
-
Are Lancer Tactical that bad for the price? Do we know of any specific issues with them?
-
Isn't that £30 for membership (which is all UKARA really records), which gives you a £5 a day discount and access to night games and other stuff? https://skirmishwycombeairsoft.com/prices/

Everything is now your fault, forever. When are you going to sort my leaking bathroom tap, you slacker?
-
The bonus is making it HPA which is likely to make it "capable" of over 1.3J on auto, i.e. an actual Section 5 firearm inside a de-ac Section 5 firearm. Eh, it'll probably be fine, it's not we even get chronoed at some sites, let alone regular forensic examinations by tools of the State.

Hmm, DefCon does "recommend" 11.1V. I "quote" that as it's still fairly unusual. You're fine to try it, plenty of folk do.
-
Agreed, I'd only use 11.1V on something that I didn't mind rebuilding. With even a moderately uPgRaDeD motor, I'm at the limit (or beyond) of what the mags can feed, and it's really a question of when rather than if something goes KERUNCH.

You know the old saying: if you can't spot the sucker at the poker table, then it's you. I suspect that can be generalised to wankers and airsoft.
