  1. To reduce movement you could try a sniper or DMR role so you can stay back and get overwatch on the situation... Guiding the youngsters into battle 😉
  2. Its like buying a new car then taking it straight to a garage saying, "Take the engine apart to check its all good" 😆 nemokingdom I hope you convert to DEANS and use a good Li-Po and intelligent charger. Those are more important for a new gun to work well.
  3. Says who? Sure the shimming may not be perfect but that won't adversely affect the operation for years. The air seal may not be perfect so you may loose 10fps or so. AOE is not so critical in a standard RPS AEG. I think you've been watching too many scary videos 😉 We've given our advice. Of course you can do whatever you want 😁
  4. If you feel better having it serviced by a reputable tech and don't mind the cost then go ahead. It doesn't necessarily mean it will last much longer or prevent any failure unless you request to replace all the parts with high end bits. Then of course you should buy a higher end AEG and hope it doesn't fail. (High end ones still have failures too)
  5. Nope, definitely not worth it in my opinion. I've had around 25 AEGs, mainly from the lower end, CYMA, JG, A&K and a few ClassicArmy and ICS. None have ever failed me mechanically plinking at home or at a game day. (I did have an occasion where a battery clip came off the fuse) It can be hard to find a trusted tech. As @Adolf Hamster said, there's no guarantee it will come back better than when you sent it. Much better to get a budget CYMA or JG backup because any gun can have a problem or break on a game day. Open up the backup and learn to tinker yourself. Most upgrades and servicing are quite easy and you can find a tech for the complicated things.
  6. Hey don't worry about it Gasman. Play as long as you enjoy it. No one is going to have a problem with the 'wiser' generation at a game day 😉
  7. We just have to buy enough to get over £135 😁
  8. Put it in the classifieds Needs a paper with date and your name. Also need to state a price.
  9. Yes in most aspects but some companies like to tinker with the design. Either because they think they have a better idea for something or to make bits like mags proprietary.
  10. I've got an ICS BLE-XAE that I bought from the classifieds and it shoots OK. (About 310fps and accurate to my test range of ~20m) Strangely it is marked ASG on the side. I did improve it a bit with a slightly longer polished barrel and my unpatented method of using an acrylic pen on the nozzle and gas port to improve air seals. The ICS BM92 mags look a lot like the WE M9 ones so I suspect they're the same or very similar in design.
  11. Hi and welcome 🖐 Lots of info around here.
  12. Looks great 👍 Now remember... Don't use it 😆
  13. More research needed to check mag compatibility. If OP doesn't know the make or have one to compare its going to be tough.
  14. I have an all metal green gas WELL MAC11 (G12)
  15. Of course I'm on their VIP list 😁 And not forgetting OnlyBBGuns
  16. JG do some pretty good MP5 models for decent prices and CYMA have metal uppers which are a bit more (if you can find one) Obviously something got chewed up so best not to use it until you figure out where the plastic came from and where the slippage is. Assuming you've already checked the gears have no wear and all the teeth are good on the piston, I would check the bushings and motor pinion gear. Are you using 11.1v Li-Po by any chance?
  17. I buy airsoft guns just for the free BB packs 👍
  18. If you have a decent charger there will be a storage charge option. That will charge or discharge to the correct medium level for long term storage.

    THE TM MWS thread

Could be part of the hop rubber? The first concern is why 5 BBs got stuck in the barrel. Hop set too high? You'll have to open it up at some point. Plenty of videos on YT to guide you. Its not very hard to get into a GBBR

    Inokatsu

We just go by general experience. Saves a lot of time. Until he defines his needs... Some people do a bit of research before asking questions but asking about an Inokatsu is not a great start.
