  1. Wow, that's surprising as Daves are usually quite pricy. Sorry Jacob but you may have to reduce the price a bit...
  2. Makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time 😀😫😀😫😀😫 Good luck Jacob 👍 Probably a good time to sell as its out of stock in most of UK.
  3. The CM045a from Gunfire would be £164.63 inc VAT & delivery (GLS)
  4. Just came across this which states the same thing I said earlier. https://www.kingdomofairsoft.com/postage-guidelines They also assume we can classify airsoft guns as 'Low-powered air weapons' “Arms and Ammunition - low powered air weapons Low-powered air weapons (air rifles, air guns and air pistols), together with lead pellets and other airgun and airsoft projectiles, can be sent but are subject to the following conditions: These items must be sent on an express48 service only These items must be sent via the Post Office only Enhanced compensation cover is not available”
  5. Yep, I suppose the distances involved would affect the air seal far more than the feed mechanics.
  6. Oh, I understand. Yeah, I guess that could work but may cause feeding problems. I had a slightly hot (+~12fps)JG SA58. I did a quick pull on the trigger in auto a few times until I got it to stop mid cycle then left it like that for a few weeks. It works but takes some time of course.
  7. Sounds like you know what you're doing 😉 Post pics when done 👍
  8. Welcome mate 👍 Sounds like you're well stuck in already 😁 Not been to Dogtag but heard generally good things 😉 Plenty of tips, tricks and trash on the forum 😏
  9. Welcome 👍 A little secret... I'm also in my 50s
  10. I think someone on the forum posted that they had a problem with an import because one digit of the UKARA was wrong so I guess they do check at least sometimes 🤔
  11. Yeah, I was a bit rough with the minimum time for doing the 3 games but at the two sites I obtained and renewed my UKARA it was at their discretion. I do wonder if border farce actually check them properly or just look for a common format.
  12. No experience myself but the only other G3 I know of is the JG one. Maybe compare pics if you haven't already. I presume the problem is that the mags don't sit high enough to activate the BB catch at the top of the feed tube? Maybe some electrical tape around the top part to make a tighter fit in the magwell? Just found this: Or this one:
  13. Yeah, fogging also depends on climate conditions too.
  14. Nicely integrated set up. Might be a bit wide with cheek weld aiming sightline in some cases.
  15. A friend of mine (@Baiok) bought a RIF from TaiwanGun and had it shipped to his family in Italy then they arranged shipping to UK 😄 Cost him about the same as buying from UK but if its not available here then it makes sense.
  16. Yeah could be but should be easy to check connector colours going to motor. Its sounding more like it could be a dying or underpowered battery.
  17. Could be anti-reversal latch not fitted correctly. Or shimming may be too tight. When you say you can turn the gears with a screwdriver, how far around can you turn them? You should be able to slowly do a full fire cycle with some effort. Open it up, take out the main spring, then put the gearbox back together and see if you can turn the gears to complete a full cycle. Its worth checking the shimming while its open anyway.
  18. Its really at the discretion of the site. If he can keep a record of the game dates he can ask them once he's done the three. Its supposed to be with a 3 month period but that will likely be ignored because of the covid thing.
  19. Depends on the design and if its a pistol, AEG or GBB but generally should be a little way inside before the mound. If the BB falls out of the barrel you know its gone too far 😉
  20. Make a note which side they came out. The pins should have grooves/hatching at one end. Other end goes in first.
  21. Have a search in the forum and you'll find loads of threads about first/best gunz 😉
  22. Or just use the tried and tested method... Shoot at a drinks can: If it goes through the sides its OK If it goes through the base then its hot 😄
  23. Welcome Yeah, unfortunately things are quite bad at the moment. Eastern production having been affected by Covid for the last year and a bit, shipping disruptions and Brexit issues importing means that stock is very low everywhere and most European suppliers will not deliver to UK anymore. You can order direct from Eastern retailers but shipping is expensive and long. Same situation on parts. Best option right now is find something you like in a UK retailer and make sure its from a well known make but many parts are also in short supply.
