  1. Even though they're linked to Nuprol? I was tempted enough to get the VP-X to try from ExtremeAirsoft for £115 (Nowhere near TM money) I believe they are made by San Yan, the same OEM for Raven. (I bought a Raven MEU mag and it works perfectly) Its OK out of the box. I have the 'Silver' version and the finish is nice but has a few minor blemishes from poor grinding in a couple of spots. Shooting around 280fps its about the same as a low end WE. I haven't used it in a game yet but garden plinking at about 15m shows it to be accurate enough to engage around 20-25m I have 'upgraded' it with a better slightly longer inner barrel and used my unpatented method of improving all GBB pistols, Acrylic pen around the nozzle and gas input vent. Now shooting with good accuracy (at 15m) around 315fps. I'm going to make a video about this soon... Overall I'm happy with it but if you want one its more for the look than the performance.
  2. Both are very good reasons. If you don't want to lose your mags its worth putting some colour and maybe a bit of sharpie on them. If you're so worried about camo then use red tape as that colour doesn't show up at distance but will help if its lying on the ground. Your initials in sharpie will help identification in case someone finds it.
  3. Yep, they have this notice now: Shipping to the UK should resume within several weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please email us at [email protected] and we will let you know once it is back ON. ? We still have to see how cost effective it is...
  4. Cool thanks
  5. Can you specify where you got the torch? Cheers
  6. Wow, what a gent! You lucky bugger ?
  7. Eeeew manboobs ? The OP did say that he doesn't send AEGs for upgrades, just to be greased and shimmed ?
  8. Full auto 382fps = 1.36J
  9. Yeah, of course that's standard practice for racing cars. Not so much for popping to Tesco ?
  10. To reduce movement you could try a sniper or DMR role so you can stay back and get overwatch on the situation... Guiding the youngsters into battle ?
  11. Its like buying a new car then taking it straight to a garage saying, "Take the engine apart to check its all good" ? nemokingdom I hope you convert to DEANS and use a good Li-Po and intelligent charger. Those are more important for a new gun to work well.
  12. Says who? Sure the shimming may not be perfect but that won't adversely affect the operation for years. The air seal may not be perfect so you may loose 10fps or so. AOE is not so critical in a standard RPS AEG. I think you've been watching too many scary videos ? We've given our advice. Of course you can do whatever you want ?
  13. ^ Good point that
  14. If you feel better having it serviced by a reputable tech and don't mind the cost then go ahead. It doesn't necessarily mean it will last much longer or prevent any failure unless you request to replace all the parts with high end bits. Then of course you should buy a higher end AEG and hope it doesn't fail. (High end ones still have failures too)
  15. Nope, definitely not worth it in my opinion. I've had around 25 AEGs, mainly from the lower end, CYMA, JG, A&K and a few ClassicArmy and ICS. None have ever failed me mechanically plinking at home or at a game day. (I did have an occasion where a battery clip came off the fuse) It can be hard to find a trusted tech. As @Adolf Hamster said, there's no guarantee it will come back better than when you sent it. Much better to get a budget CYMA or JG backup because any gun can have a problem or break on a game day. Open up the backup and learn to tinker yourself. Most upgrades and servicing are quite easy and you can find a tech for the complicated things.
  16. Hey don't worry about it Gasman. Play as long as you enjoy it. No one is going to have a problem with the 'wiser' generation at a game day ?
  17. We just have to buy enough to get over £135 ?
  18. Put it in the classifieds Needs a paper with date and your name. Also need to state a price.
  19. Yes in most aspects but some companies like to tinker with the design. Either because they think they have a better idea for something or to make bits like mags proprietary.
  20. I've got an ICS BLE-XAE that I bought from the classifieds and it shoots OK. (About 310fps and accurate to my test range of ~20m) Strangely it is marked ASG on the side. I did improve it a bit with a slightly longer polished barrel and my unpatented method of using an acrylic pen on the nozzle and gas port to improve air seals. The ICS BM92 mags look a lot like the WE M9 ones so I suspect they're the same or very similar in design.
  21. Hi and welcome ? Lots of info around here.
  22. Looks great ? Now remember... Don't use it ?
  23. More research needed to check mag compatibility. If OP doesn't know the make or have one to compare its going to be tough.
  24. I have an all metal green gas WELL MAC11 (G12)
  25. So you didn't get a magazine with it?
