    I call her Sasha! Lovely E&L. Suffers from the issue that all E&Ls seem to have where tightening the pistol grip seems to push the motor up and you cant get the motor height right. That's going to have to be looked at. Shes shimmed a little tight as well. But shes a real looker! Also arrived is this ugly thing. JLS RX4. Brand new.

    Purchased an E&L AKM plus a few KG of BB's from Gunfire on 03/11, Took them two weeks to change the spring (Quick change gearbox), which is fine. It happens. 

     

    Got notification that they had sent the parcel on 17/11. Just checked the tracking number and GLS says the shipment has been cancelled with no further explanation. 

     

    Mailed GF wondering what happened, someone told me this morning that they would get back to me after an investigation... I just want my toys before Black Friday ruins the postal services :(

      Well bollox ! ? I’ve had a couple of European mail orders go a bit pear shaped past couple of mths BUT all my HK orders have absolutely rocked through , much quicker than normal ! ? what the fornication is going on ?!?!?! 
      AND first one who says “oh it’s because of Covid !” I will find out where you live and I will end your life via the application of blunt force trauma with a frozen cucumber ? (so I can eat the murder weapon, gets rid of the evidence?) savvy ?

    I upgraded my ARX fully. The only proprietary part in the gearbox is the nozzle and you can get quality aluminium replacements with O rings from Italy. The hop is proprietary very simple with a plastic nub. But works pretty well considering. The bolt release catch doesnt always release the mag... but most of the time. It's a lovely light rifle, when I can get it to feed correctly is brilliant. It's actually one of my favourite rifles.

Oh there are more things to come from me once Black Friday comes! Got a bunch of shopping lists saved. It is essentially three rifles stuck together, They took a hunting rifle, stuck M4 Mag compatibility and the Benelli sliding shotgun stock and tried selling it to the Italian Military who sensibly went with the ARX160. They then tried to sell it to law enforcement and PMC's. Pretty much only mildly succeeded in Civilian sales. Its a shame no one made a proper CX4 AEG which would have been my preference!

    I have been keeping an eye on a certain Danish site at a certain "odd" rifle for about a year. Waiting for it to come down in price from it's 220 euro vault. It came down to 40% off.... I still waited... I got a 5% discount from the news later... still waited... Then a stackable 15% discount came through in the newsletter and I had to snap it up! A New Old Stock JLS RX4, the last one I can find for sale new in the world. It's so ugly... but it only cost 99 quid! Old school G&G M14 internals. Gonna get it stripped down and turned into something great. JLS RX4 £99 King Arms 40 Degree Bucking £2.50 Element V3 Spring guide for £4.50 AND EVEN RARER. 2x Systema Fa-Mas upgraded spring guides. only £2.50 each. I have no use for them at the moment as I already have one spare, but it would be rude not to considering its a proprietary part. Its been a good evening!

    I get a lot of PMs asking about some of my experiences with my somewhat esoteric rifles. The person who Pmed me bemoaned the fact that the could barely find anything about the rifle in his message. 

     

     It's such a shame however in response, you type out a large number of words that get's fairly in-depth, gets read and then... nothing for over 10 days.

     

    Despite the user being online, reading the PM more then once (The time stamp updates every time it is read) and posting since... nothing.

     

    A thanks really does go a long way. Why bother doing it when someone else comes calling otherwise?

     

    I'll get off my nelly high horsie and back into my pink fluffy house now. :(

    ASG 30K Ultimate Custom Short motor SHS 16TPA Vented Short motor I don't have any rifles to put them in, the E&L's I have been buying have perfectly fine Neo motors as stock. I may get a KA VSS where one can go in. Need to buy something else!

    I am pondering over a Gorka 1, which should be ok for Cold War if slightly implausible! I can use Gorka 1 for modern day MVD as well which is handy.

    Got my new E&L AKS74U through the post. It's just as solid as the E&L 74N I got through last month. The stock is especially wobble free. Gunfire downgraded it a tad too much, but shouldn't be too much of a problem. Goes to my tech on Friday to be given the once over, the usual replacement barrel and bucking as I dont rate any stock ones.

    A new Helmet mounted adapter for the action cam. This one mounts from the bottom rather then the top so the camera stays out of my face! Also got a head strap system so I don't have to take a helmet everytime.
