  1. Do you mind me asking what it is that you're after? There is physical stock that may not be listed online. Someone may have a lead on what you want here in the UK already.
  2. My sister just cited Godwin's law as we argued. I did compare her to Hitler, but only to persuade her to shave that silly little 'tache off.
  3. I have bought mags etc. from them. Good experience the two times that I used them.
  4. My CYMA AK mags dont fit a friends LCT. The thin lip on the LCT mags are prone to chipping. I believe that you can file to fit IIRC, but if you try it, use sandpaper rather than a file as a smidgen too much and they will be loose as hell. The CYMA mags leave the factory a trifle too thick for CYMAs sometimes. Couple of strokes of an emery board is sometimes required. If the spring in CYMA AKs mag release was a bit stronger, I wouldn't know as much about borrowing/fitting/bodging mags to fit tbh...
  5. Just fitted a rotary hop to (one of my rapidly breeding) G&G M 4s.  ML and Omega. HT SHS motor and some cosmetics/ergonomics.

The air seal seams fine judging by the consistency.  Think I'll leave it there until it's time of the rattle can.  The rest of the goodies can stay in their boxes for another rif.

  6. The ones I have seen fail have suffered from poor trigger contacts, feeding issues and inoperative hops. ZCI rotary may fix the second two for less than a tenner. Getting a reliable trigger may just be a case of soldering a better connection. Good luck if the OP keeps it, hope you get lucky.
  7. No you're not forgiven. You have to walk Gaylord around the block in an I Love Kicking Mustang T-shirt.
  8. Thanks all. If it doesn't work out I'll bung it on the classifieds as a specialist limited edition M4 mag only rig for the M4 owning cognoscenti.
  9. My lad was caught out by one of these once. He waited too long to return it and ended up slinging the thing. Worst rif and worse customer 'service' he ever encountered. I wish that he had had the advice that you have received. Return the thing and buy a G&G Combat Machine or CYMA.
  10. I use an LMG. Proper suppressive fire does not need a massive rof. Causing a stream of plastic to whir past where someone may stick there head out is of dubious worth. You're better off rattling a longish slow burst into cover so that folk know there being covered in my experience. In airsoft milsims and filmsims the advantage is mag capacity and round amount loaded. No advantage in skirmishes.
  11. Scratching my head to think if this will take AK mags. Looks like a fairly passable copy of ANA Russian rig for about a fifth of the price.
  12. May not even be the rif. A shit balance charger can charge your batteries to all sort of random states of charge. Are you testing them on the same battery?
  13. The toy dog that always looked like it needed putting down...
  14. There is a click and forget Perun for G&Gs. It sounds exactly what you are looking for. There may be better options, I am not really knowledgeable about them tbh. I went for the Perun for its simplicity and ease of use. I do use Gate Nanos in a couple of rifs, they work well as a simple 'fet. I don't know about wiring one to your loom.
  15. Those G&G fets are so unreliable it's impossible to say when they actually went. As for paypal, any mention of the word gun and you're sunk. Airsoft toy - fine. Airsoft gun - evil death device.
  16. I have a G&G L85, easily the worst rif I own. Heavy, unergonomic, and unreliable. It lasted two short games and the ETU shat itself. Budget in a Perun at the least I'd say. On the plus side, it's a sort of favourite. For milsims it's a decent replica. I notice that my ex-infantry pal who fields one all the time, has no probs at all, re crap ergonomics. Being airsoft, the 'it's cool' factor is a major consideration.
  17. I imagine that some enterprising chap or chapess will be in local attendance, and willing to administer the appropriate jab for a hefty fee. That seems to be the way with the tests required for flying. Damn good question from a cost front alone! If one of your party is disinclined to be jabbed or whatever, the situation may become decidedly interesting and expensive. Of course post Brexit we also require medical insurance, and my AA European membership is only for a couple of days. After that it's extra. Its all a lot more expensive and complicated these days for various reasons.
  18. The last two AKs I bought from Patrolbase had been in stock at TG about two/three weeks previously. Both had those green stickers with Polish warnings on that TG affix to their rifs. One cost £200 from PB, £144 from TG. Given 2% duty, plus fees, plus 20% is a minimum of £176 with zero fees attached. At time of writing, TG only has three models of CYMA AK in stock. PB only has four. Just an example, but it's shit if you are after a particular model. Actually having it in stock is king.
  19. Here we go Jacob. Straight from the pferd's mund as it were. I received this from the German Customs Directorate. '...travellers from the UK to Germany or through Germany required a weapons permit issued by the locally competent weapons authority. This is usually the authority locally competent for the area where the hunters or shooters stay in Germany or - if the transit only - where they enter Germany. There are no simplifications applicable in such a case. From a customs point of view this is a temporary import, provided the goods (firearms) leave the EU again. There are no import fees on that. An oral declaration to customs is sufficient. Here you can find a list with weapons authorities in Germany:' https://www.nwr-fl.de/liste-der-waffenbehoerden-seite.html I discussed my travel plans with Mrs Pith Helmet. She is of the opinion that Berget is likely to be extortionate to attend. She has attempted cheap(ish) road travel in Sweden previously and recommended Border War in Czech Republic as an alternative if driving. It does occur to me that there must be plenty of milsims in Europe. Attending as a group may be a lot of fun. There are plenty of Polish and Portuguese players at my local site. Attending a game as a British team with local interpreter might be something to attend.
  20. Bed it in and then think about new mainspring and hop rubber. If you can't wait to work on it ,do the rubber straight away. TMs are a quality piece of kit. Not sure they need £350 of upgrades out of the box!
  21. His mum's unplugged the Amiga to plug the Dyson in. She won't be long. If he cleaned his bedroom more often there'd be less for her to do tbh.
  22. If you're dead set on using a strobe, but don't want to be thought of as a selfish silly sausage, try using a fairly powerful torch and blinking really rapidly. Has about the same effect.
  23. G&G's M4 based support gun uses a stanag compatible box mag running on CR123 batteries. Only used for a few hours so far, so just a cautious thumbs up from me for now.
  24. This advert is COMPLETED!

Nuprol starter rif. Seems a sturdier thing than the G&G CM16; the barrel support is far better due to the design of the forend. The odd light mark from being skirmished. I got this in a package of rifs and kit that I bought and really don't need another M4. The post from the foresight is missing. Ant Supplies do these at a tenner for a set of seven. I have test fired it and it runs fine. Price includes original hi-cap, fees and postage. Specs taken from Nuprol website: Weight (g) 2000 Fire Modes Semi/Full-Auto Barrel Bore (mm) 6.03 Approx. 25. Anyone come across these before? I assume (hope) that they are actually plastic. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174606728485?hash=item28a75f3d25:g:y7QAAOSwJ4hY-Ge5 Glass is an extremely complicated material, I imagine that .28g glass BBs are a possibility.
