Not really about what I bought, but WHERE I bought it.
    I ordered two 40mm,  72 round Moscarts from actionhobbies.co.uk
Never ordered from them before, but ran through trustpilot and they have good reviews.

This morning I got a phone call from them, apologising. The Moscarts are out of stock in that size. I can wait for them to come back in stock OR they can send me the next size up, at no extra charge, which I will receive in time for this weekend's game.
    Great customer service!
Shout out to Paul at action hobiies.

Does this help? The .308 TR16 has its stock compressed and that's a Krytac PDW in there too. This is the large case i think, measures about 105cm excluding external bits n bobs

The AKU's I mentioned above (https://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/shop/footwear/british-army-issue-aku-boots-grade-1-1537724.html) just turned up as I was after another pair.
Photos for reference. Looks like someone wore them for about 5 minutes as there isn't a mark on them. Even the soles look brand new. They retail for £170-£150 but I got these for £51.99 all in.

You might want to spend an extra tenner in a set of insoles for them.

    Fun day at skirmish Wycombe.
This happened (not my footage), but the lad that took the hit took it in his stride, went off and put a band aid on it and jumped right back in with no hard feelings.
    Unlucky incident.
The shot is at the 3 minute mark.

Another little delivery this morning. Baofengs, one with an extended battery and antenna, and a sight protector for the Eotech from Red Dot Engineering

    That looks mega mate 🤌

    If you're totally new:
Have a browse on YouTube (including Gamble's channel). There's LOADS of videos for beginners, about what you need to get started, which is actually very little:
    Sturdy boots with ankle support.
Clothes you don't mind getting dirty (camo or dark colours).
    Gloves are good.
Eye protection is your main priority, but if you're starting out renting that will be provided, though I'd still recommend getting your own as the rental stuff sometimes isn't the best and you don't know if it's already taken a few shots.

    Then....

Go to a site close to you (check out the sites review section on this forum).
    Rent a gun.
    Play.
Do that a couple of times, see if you like the game.

    Go on from there.
You'll find that at most sites the players are friendly, inclusive and helpful.

Hope this was of some help 🙂

Oh, and check out the new players section here, lots of good info:

Picked these up for £150 the pair .Didn’t realise how rare the TM with folding stock was .
I don’t know if the stock is original or repro . I made the hook out of 15mm copper pipe with a pipe bender .

Just got home from Skirmish Wycombe.
I've been twice before, once good once a bit meh.
    Today was bloody brilliant.
I went alone, but everyone was in good form and having a great laugh, lots of great teamwork and more importantly everyone was calling their hits.
There were a few "he didn't call his hit", but we all know that sometimes people think they hit but didn't, or the target genuinely didn't feel it.
Marshalls were good, weather was good, overall a bloody great day.
My KWA TK45 performed beautifully, her first time on the field.
I managed to lose my pistol mag, but a marshal found it, thankfully.

It's only 10/15 minutes drive from my house, so I'll be going again. Hopefully that one not so good day I had there was an anomaly, though I know the site gets some iffy reviews.

Get some therapy bands, one end in each hand and put your feet on the middle whilet sat down and extend your legs. Same exercise, lower impact. Super cheap and easy to vary the resistance

As a keen cyclist i would always recommend being on a bike!

Do you do any kind of strength training? I'm sure I've heard/read somewhere that conditioning the surrounding muscles of the knee can help with aches and pains? I'm not suggesting you go all out here, but even some body weight squats 2x a week might make a difference.
And if it does help then i'll always recommend kettlebell's for a quick home workout.

Not sure where to post this or even to post at all, but it is related to "our" sport and again I'm asking for advice.I'm getting on now (I'm older than some forests) and am suffering heavily with arthritis in both knees,it relates from a well spent childhood,mx,etc. What I'd like to know is if anyone has any miracle cure or aid.I wear knee pads when I play and take a herbal remedy (as advised by another player) also I am currently trying DMSO.I did cycle regularly but haven't recently, that could be a contributing factor. So I can survive the day 1 or even 2 times a month but I suffer heavily afterwards taking upto 5 days to recover up until that time I walk like a cripple, getting up from floor level is embarrassing. When I get home I need to sort my kit immediatley before I sit down and seize up.I give it my all when I play because I intend to enjoy every time I play,my body says slow down but my mind says crack on.I could slow down but my style of play is aggressive at the front,I can't hang back.I appreciate any advice and thanks for reading.

    Just arrived
I am shocked at the hand done stippling on the pump & grip
The build quality seems exceptional, a very solid substantial piece of kit
Chuffed to bits with it (so far) 😂

Apologies to those who saw my other thread, but I'm pretty proud of my placard/micro rig I've designed so I'm gonna show it in here too tbh!

Won't up sell too hard here, feel free to look up @f9gear_ on IG (or FB) if you're in to kit and would like to know more.  Or even if you just want to follow the story of an airsofter selling gucci gear to Americans (hopefully).
