  1. Work contnues on moderising the KWA VZ61 Scorpion.
  2. Something old, something new. Just picked up the ZP-19 from these forums and only had to add the suppressor as it came with everything else. The other AK is a Kreb's Custom AK made by Classic Army quite a few years ago. It's full Kreb trade marked and full steel.
  3. This is the final version. Solid enough at 90% infill but there is a chance I'm going to have it made out of metal.

    UKARA

In my case it would have been. I phoned them up and they basically told me this. I know other people have had different outcomes but in my case having the UKARA number would have got it released sharpish.
  5. I've never been a big fan of the rail on the TM HK416C so I decided to do something about it. This is the Mk1 version, just to get the sizing correct and the next improved version is in the printer now.

    UKARA

Probably a unpopular opinion but if you plan to import RIF's from overseas its's easier if you have a UKARA number. It took me over 3 months to get a RIF released from Border Force and if I had a UKARA number it would have been released almost immediately. I've been importing for years and had a few problems over the years however recently it's becoming a pain.
  7. down the rabbit hole we go.... ok so the problem is simply 2 BB's are getting into the top of the hop unit when only 1 BB should get there. things to check: 1. is the nozzle binding on the cylinder head? rubber O ring nozzles without any lub can do this. It doesn't need to get stuck only slowed down for this to happen. 2. the the tappet plate spring weak? it might be borderline and occassionally not have enough energy to bring the tappet plate forward fast enough allowing 2 BB's to enter the top of the hop. 3. is the tappet plate lub'd inside the gearbox shell or is it lub'd but binding (turn all the gearbox screws by 1 flat to see if the issue clears) 4. not sure if the AEG has a mosfet so there is a chance the nozzle gets into a position after firing that there is enough time for 2 BB's to move into the top of the hop before the gearbox cycles.
  8. before you end up going down a rabbit hole try different BB's and then a different mag if it's still the same.
  9. working on a simple solution for mounting stuff on the SD6. friction fit and seems to work fine.
  10. On my screen it looks very grey/blue..not quite justbbguns blue bu...aww forget it.....
  11. Is that classed as a 2 tone
  12. it's going to be hard to find a UTR stock. try contacting DE direct (http://www.deairsoft.com/utr45.html) and see if they will sell to you direct.
  13. yeah the fake tube sits over the tracer as long as you remove the foam from inside it. it's 3 pieces of foam and I needed to remove 2 of them for the blaster tracer to fit.
  14. it's designed for that very purpose. if you unscrew the fake silencer there is a -14mm thread under a pretective cover. all you need to do is remove some of the foam from the fake silencer and away you go. I tried it with an Acetech blaster and it works just fine.
  15. SD finally turned up. It's noticably quieter than it's brother. and here it is compared to the older TM SD and a VFC GBB SD. (old tm top, new tm middle and VFC bottom).
  16. the chance of it actually making it to the board when it leaves the glass is pretty slim.
  17. it's flux that needs cleaning off with some IPA
  18. so a fifty pence IC from china is all it took to get the titan up and running. happy days! anyone got a knackered cheap NGRS in need of love?
  19. I knew I had to snap it up as soon as I seen it.
  20. AKX is released at the end of the month. https://impulse101.jp/en/gbb-rifle-gas-gun/tokyo-marui-akx-real-gas-blowback-series-5746 not quite sure what Marui's thought process is at times. They could have knocked out a AKMSU or even a AK74SU but went with the AKX
  21. Picked up a CA53 from @VonGrimm and he was very honest in his description. After a bit of work she's looking a bit better. Just need to sort out the gearbox issue once the part arrives and I might replace the CA Mosfet with a NanoAAB I've got here sitting doing nothing. Before: After: Based on a HK53A2 I fondled in Iraq belonging to the RMP CP teams. I also took a bit of time and gave the XM177 PTW a bit of a service.
  22. VFC do one
  23. long time project AEG. CYMA 0.28 Type 3 AK47. This is the recoil model similar to the TM NGRS AK's. externally it has some Inokatsu laminated furniture worn naturally and the magazine is a RS slab slided early AK mag modified for a midcap internals. Internally it is running a Leviathion V3 and ZCI 400mm inner barrel and Maple Leaf Mr Hop (50).
  24. cheers, that picture is excellent. let's see if a 47 pence piece can recover a Titan.
  25. Anyone got a Titan handy that can check out the number on a MOSFET? I've got a blown MOSFET on a titan and it's destroyed the number on the IC making it hard to read. I think it's a 7129 MOSFET and as you can see in the picture I can't make out the numbers in the middle. if anyone is wondering then yes reverse polarity of the battery can destroy a titan and no it's out of warranty.
