  1. made mag pouch inserts for the ARP9, TM GBB MP7, ACP9K and Vector. I'll probably do the MP5 and Scorpion next.
  2. So I picked both these up from these forums and because I got them at a decent price it left some cash over to do a bit more upgrading. The NGRS M4 came with a prommy inner barrel and purple hop rubber. I was going to S hop it but i'll run the prommy stuff for a game or 2 before doing that. I fitted a titan and new pistol grip as the A2 style grip really gets on my goat. The M4 also came with the Knights rail in the box (it was a socom so comes with the plastic handguards). There is a small air leak between the cylinder head and nozzle and a new nozzle still has a slight air leak so I've ordered a new cylinder head and a O ringed nozzle to get rid of that problem (not really a problem as it's only a FPS variation of about 10 at the worst but enough to annoy me). The NGRS G36K I added the Jefftron V3 (first time trying one of these and seems to be a straight forward swap). I'll probably S hop this as well but right now it came with a Prommy flat hop rubber and flat nub and seems to shoot fine so I'll do the S hop at the same time as the M4. I actually prefer the Jefftron app over the Gate Titan App but that might just be because I connect the Titans via USB whereas the Jefftron is all bluetooth.
  3. you can find the manual here: Linky looks like you need part number FN21 which is down as a M3 x 6 mm bolt edit - Eagle6 has it in stock for about a fiver if you want an original part
  4. the selector plate makes a connection with the wiring loom and the cut off lever dictates is it fires semi or full auto. basically the selector plate allows current to flow and depending on its position the AEG will fire semi or full. so you could have a couple of things wrong. The selector plate isn't making a good electrical connection when in Semi. this is quite common and caused by wear on the contacts inside the gearbox (not the trigger contacts but the tin plated metal on the side of the trigger contacts). It could be the selector plate is worn but unlikely as there isn't much to wear out on a M4 style NGRS selector plate unlike the teeth on the AK style. Unless you flick between safe - semi - full like a madman and have worn the copper contact out on the selector plate. if you have a multimeter take the motor out and connect the multimeter set to volts DC and select semi and see if you get a voltage reading when you pull the trigger. Do the same for full auto. if you don't get a reading on semi then the contacts are probably worn. You can either replace the trigger switch assembly/fit a titan or bend out the tin parts on the side of the trigger assembly to make a good contact again
  5. So I made my first Taiwangun order since Brexit and it's not exactly been smooth sailing. ordered 14/05 picked up 14/05 from shop arrived in Germany 19/05 @ 8:58 arrived UK 19/05 @ 21:27 then I seen on the UPS tracking site due for delivery the 21st. on the 24th after it hadn't arrived I phoned UPS and got put through to customs team and a promise to call me back within 24 hours. 25 hours later called them back as they hadn't called. Told someone would contact me in 1 hour. After about 3 hours got a call and then an email with the declaration so filled that in and after another day got the import duties bill. Told that it was now with UK BF and could take 10 days to clear. told yesterday that it was now cleared. Now just waiting for UPS to provide me a new arrivals date as the tracking website still says the 21/05
  6. TM G36K NGRS from these forums plus a FNX_45 from Combat South. I also picked up 8 of the PTS G36 magazines as well.
  7. a 7.4 lipo works well in all my NGRS's. I should mention try to go for 25C or 30C if you can find them.
  8. Does a Gate Aster V3 work in a Tokyo Marui G36K recoil?
  9. A trio of CZ58's from a very wet UCAP Green Ops today.
  10. As BigStew says the original AEG was by Marui but it looks to have been modified with either the Craft Apple Works M1928A1 kit along with the wooden furniture or possibly it's been modified by Shoot-n-scoot. valuewise it might be worth around £350 if it's CAW. it will appeal to some airsofters and more than likely re-enactors might be interested as it's very much an early style thompson favoured by the commandos in WW2.
  11. some of them would be classed as classics. This effects the value as they won't appeal to everyone. To start of with the PTW is £600-850 depending on if it is just the AEG or if it has mags etc. It might also be sub 2008 which means the electronics are not the best so a buyer might want to replace all of that which is costly. The Marui AK with the Guarder wood kit is probably 150-180. The Sr16 (jag precision maybe?) is unknown as I can't see the make and that goes for the thompson as well. The terminator shotgun will go for around 200 as it's the 8mm version and most site don't allow 8mm so most likely only a collector would go for it. The M2 is also 8mm so again reduced market even though it's in fine condition. Hard to price that one but maybe 150-200 The MP5 and the mauser are probably 200 quid to the right person.
  12. it was crap. 30 rounds in 3.1 seconds which meant rolling around for 5 minutes trying to get the magazine out of the pouch you were lying on top off and jammed it up your armpit then you could fire another 30 rounds in 3.1 seconds. on the plus side at least the barrel didn't get too hot as you couldn't change it anyway. Let's not mention the ninja bipod that would spring out and catch on something when you looked at it in a funny way (which was actually your "don't spring out right now face"). I used the L4A1 prior to the L86 LSW (Light [it wasn't] Support [it didn't] Weapon [questionable]) and even though it was a heavy bugger at least it had the decency to put the weight at the back end instead of sticking a 4 pound ninja bipod on the end of the barrel.
  13. first prototype of a new rail for my CZ58. adding more real estate for bolt on's
  14. Probably the most overly engineered AEG ever designed. The G&G VSS Vintorez.
  15. Picked up a couple of ACE1 ARMS PMAG's for my MWS. They seem good and the weight is 399g compared to the 453g for my Marui magazines. Tempted to swap out the 6 marui mags for another 6 of the ACE1 ARMS magazines.
  16. What 7.62 mag pouch (or check rig) are you using?
  17. Actually these are just printed on paper. You take the mag apart, the clear plastic piece pops out, stick them down with selotape, trim and re-assemble. I can share file I used to print on a normal paper printer if you want?
  18. not sure if this really counts but printed out some bullet heads and fixed them to the inside of the AK12 magazine to improve the look.
  19. I'm sure there used to be a "what have you 3D printed" page.....anyway, Tired of swapping chest rigs over when you switch AEG platforms?, fed up of moving pouches on and off your plate carrier when you switch from an M4 to a MP7. Well I know I was so I knocked these up. Slides into the M4 pouches easily and holds 2 mags each. The mags are held securely so when you remove one the other one isn't flapping about inside the pouch and falling out when you bend over. Right now I've got designs for TM MP7 GBB, AEG Kriss Vector and the ARP 9. I'll probably add the MP5 style mags next.
  20. ASG CZ Bren 805 A2 - Leopold copy, Battle Axe battery powered Hi-cap, Gemtech suppressor and some random vertical grip
  21. for people who don't have access to a 3D printer you can buy it here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/932C5DNMV/mws-part-b?optionId=210263416&li=shops £8.75 for one but that's not my price that is the Shapeways price so appologies.
  22. part can be found here: LINKY I printed in PLA at 100% infill and it seems fine. You can try ABS or some of the fancy infused PLA's for added strength. Here's a comparison between the stock Marui and mine.
  23. cause I'm awesome I just printed 1 out at 100% infill and tried it and it is a drop in fit. No issues as far as I can see and I'll stick a link up for thingiverse a bit later once I upload it.
