  1. Surely there are enough 7.62 magazine pouches on the market to choose from? In terms of a dedicated chest rig, maybe look at the Blue Force Gear Ten Speed 308 SCAR-H version.
  2. Ran my TM MWS exclusively for about a year, then tried a TM 416C, bought it and have concluded I like the option of being able to choose either.
  3. Action Hobbies boneyard section right now if anyone is after cheap skirmish wear...
  4. GBB Ruger P85 - TM must have the molds! Ruger Mini 14 has my vote too.
  5. I would look at OPS Tactical - stocked by the likes of Hueys MTO.
  6. Took an innocuous stumble at Battle Lakes. Played on with some bruised pride. Woke up the next day with a pinched sciatic nerve. Spent the next couple of months shuffling around, necking Diazapam and Codiene. There were times when taking too many just to stop the pain seemed like a good idea. Thankfully those times were few and far between.
  7. Vaguely recall possibly seeing Combat cut versions 3-4 years ago, iirc it was a shirt. Mainly it was Field type pieces listed on ebay.
  8. Gave up on AI after the quality dropped off a cliff edge when the editor left. AA is a good read, and has many of the writers that made AI worth reading over a decade ago present.
  9. Extreme Airsoft have some nice temptations in their sale atm.
  10. The clone versions of the TM Gas shotguns look interesting. As a TM Breacher owner, I am intrigued.
  11. I am not knocking FS at all, just surprised such a seemingly easy thing to do would be accepted by them, knowing how rigorously they investigate other defences.
  12. But Fire Support, arguably the proponents of UKARA, have cosplay as a defence to buy a RiF, so my point is, it seems like a very loose term that anyone could use.
  13. How do you prove 'Cosplay'?! Surely that is an open invitation for any over 18 to get a RiF without UKARA?!
  14. Ebay might be worth a look if you haven't done already.
  15. He runs a Mk.23 in it, which is a pistol I have seen dump mags from fabric pouches, but so far, so good. It is a very sturdy, thick fabric, quite hard to describe, but I have spoken with a few owners and all have rated it.
  16. My brother rates his Warrior Universal Holster, so don't discount that design. Whatever works for you. My Crye Gunclip is the one 'holster' that has come closest to me losing my G19 with a Surefire X200...twice. So it was a lanyard added after pistol dump number two that allowed me to justify using it again. TBF, I have now swapped it out for a Safariland 6354DO but due to lockdown, I can't report how that has stood up to use.
  17. My TM P226E2 fits in my one. Obviously clones are cheaper and way easier to source, but I have seen one too many literally fall apart mid skirmish to make me want to risk it. Although, a lanyard would give a degree of protection.
  18. Yep, there is a fork type adapter, and you slide it in. Got one on one of my belts. I would recommend this (but finding one cheaper, mine was circa £20, usually some pop up on the various forums or ebay): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201925732196
  19. Serpa holster for the SIG is a must. Fantastic holster an inexpensive to find a real steel one. No idea if airsoft SIGs fit in the Safariland holsters which kick around on ebay for a small price but they might be worth going for if they can be belt/Miller mounted.
  20. My UKARA elapsed in Feb' 2020 (why does it elapse?) and have been quoted £25 to become a member of a site franchise I haven't played on/with for 4 years just to renew it. Strikes me as a money grab as one cannot imagine it is that costly to run?! I have long thought the scheme to be an unnecessarily pricey endeavour as, by my reckoning, it is a scheme to keep the retailers on the right side of the law. Maybe I am wrong, but the constant process or renewal and fees strikes me as greedy.
  21. Decent TM sale on Firesupport. RedWolf in HK have a decent sale on too.
  22. Good morning all. Anyone had any experience with said AEG and if so, would you mind please sharing your thoughts? It is on my to-buy list... Thanks!
