      It is pretty rare, probably 1%-2% of sales and stops all the unnecessary posts which make up the other 98%.

      Yes.  If you make any post that is less than 7 days after your previous one then it is an early bump.  So either add new items to the OP or wait for the 7 days.  Editing the OP is the simple option, and keeps all items in the same place.
