  1. Incredible as it seems, there are many new members (as well as plenty of old ones) who do not know how to edit their posts. It is a very simple process. At the bottom of your post is the word "Edit". It is to the right of a plus sign (for multiple quotes) and the word "Quote". Click on Edit. It opens up the editor; simply make your changes and save. Now that you have the knowledge and skills to edit a post You can also edit the topic title if you created the topic. There is no need to quote a whole post, just edit out the extra content. Edit your sales topic with any new details, pictures, or answers to questions which will help stop bumping.

  5. Here is a link to the Home Office circular 031 / 2007 The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (Commencement No 3) Order 2007: firearms measures https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-violent-crime-reduction-act-2006-commencement-no-3-order-2007-firearms-measures
  6. That would be useful. Good to have another option to carry the Mk23.
  7. Use some Paracord, it is strong and you can melt the ends to seal it. Thread the Paracord through the hole in the stock, make a loop, and tie a decent knot (check YouTube) to attach the sling to. You could use plastic part with the cord wound through it. Basically replacing the weaker thin original line with the thicker cord.
  8. Happy Star Wars day.  May the Fourth be with you :)

  9. When I wanted to buy a Mk23 a few years ago, the best reviews / threads on the forum were for the TM version. It is a great pistol.
  10. Low Ride belt loop - https://www.uktactical.com/p-9066-low-ride-belt-loop-black.aspx Black is showing out of stock, and tan is available.
  11. It could be simply a money issue. A limited budget meant buying what they could afford at the time instead of saving up and having to wait longer. Or because they did not do due dilgence first and just bought any old BB gun. When they realise that the stock gun is not good enough and have to upgrade it to be on par with other players. Alternately, some players just like tinkering with toys and seeing how they work or experimenting with different set-ups, so upgrading is more of a hobby.
  12. Had a great Saturday night Halloween hardcore game at The Mall last night, and opportunity to meet up with some forum members. First time I have played full auto in the rear corridors and basement.

You would have loved the masochism of touching the big yellow box for 10 seconds whilst getting shot. Lights off, smoke and music was atmospheric.

That'd be the first game at tThe Mall in which I would have been undergunned with my pistols

Trigger you would have loved it, the opportunities for sneaking up in complete darkness plus the added fog effect were great. There were one or two blokes with NV that had a bit of an advantage but nothing that a good thrown pyro wouldn't deal with it. Looking forward for the next one.

  13. Yes. They reduce fogging. Being able to see more clearly means they are worth the cost.
  14. Prepared kit for the game at The Mall tonight and on fitting battery discovered a broken battery conection in the stock. Emergency soldering will hopefully hold up.

I have a soldering iron with me just in case.

That sounds like what happened to mine first game out with it! The mod required is slide out the two copper connection bars, place in pillar drill and drill down in the ends of them about 8mm. Then solder the battery connector into the holes. Job done.

Did not have the time for complete fix, just hot soldering to the end of the copper bar. The drilling anf tap would be the answer.

  15. Here are other threads for this retailer: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/30741-gunfire/?hl=gunfire http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/23879-anyone-used-gunfire-poland/?hl=gunfire http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/12668-gunfire/?hl=gunfire

  17. Or should it be a BASR, Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, as it is bolt action (obviously) and also fulfilling the sniper rifle role?
  18. Think it means Pistol, Spring (shotgun), and Knife.
  19. That paint job is special; the weathering just looks like normal wear and tear from using the gun unless the scratches are designer.
  20. Although I expect a fair few of them will end up coming back your way I am sure that I have a dozen with your name on.
  21. Salomon, the ones that I have owned have always held up and been comfortable. I have also been looking at both the 4D and mid sized 3D version.

  22. Off to The Mall on Sunday for some chav hunting. Hopefully the lighting in the basement has been reduced to help with stealthly movement

Well if you are on trigger's team then stay close behind him and learn the ways of the underworld (basement) and other rat runs across the complex. If we are the on same side then stay behind me as I normally get shot alot going forwards.

If you are in there early try and grab enough space on the shelves for me to dump.my kit next to yours. By the time I get there its only ever the wobbly chairs left.

Certainly, Iplan to arrive for about 0800 hrs to get parking space. They could dowith some more small benches or tables for kit. Or at least bolting down the chairs to stop them tipping over.
