15 minutes to get round? Kind of glad my buds flaked out on me. Would have took eight times as long in travelling!

Just for clarity, it's three games in no less than two months. Might be worth updating the OP, already enough misinformation everywhere!

Erm, Bexley.

New Player Advice with Gun Purchasing. PLEASE ANSWER <3
lafta replied to DonLykeB's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Relative noob here. But am I not right in saying that just because a seller won't accept his defence, it doesn't mean that he doesn't have one. He is not on UKARA database obviously but it's not the only possible defence is it... -
New player having issues need advice plz

Pretty sure you never want to fully discharge a lipo that's for sure. -
I think you'll be pushing it to get five spots at the Mall for this weekend at such short notice. Definitely look at it as a future option though, (give about three weeks notice to book in). There are spots on the day, up to a max of 20, but that's a risky venture, especially if you've not been before and don't know exactly where you are going. Going with a few friends to Outpost on 27th but that might be a little out of reach for you.

Welcome! I'm just round the corner in Harefield. We play the Mall mainly, though off to outpost next weekend. Might see you around some time!

It's not the battery, 100%. About 9 months old or so.

My brother has an issue with his gun. As the title suggests, it regularly locks up or misfires in both fire modes. Ultimately it will probably go to a tech. But just wondered if anyone has any ideas on the possible cause? It's a CM16 Raider. The battery is definitely not the problem. I realise this is really vague, I've searched around a bit but thought I might as well tap into the wealth of knowledge here.

Airsoftzone is worth a look for all ASG blasters. Though postage can be a killer. I think you get £1 off each bottle too when ordering 3+

Welcome to the party! I'll be there on that date Ben.

No issues in the slightest. Still using the two batteries and the charger recommended in that thread.

I use these: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-1300mah-25c-continuous-discharge-cranestock-lipo-battery.html

You definitely want some sort of gloves. Head and feet you have covered. I would also put a vote towards a scarf/shemagh of some sort for your throat personally.

Another event of interest to some may be the Airsoft Bootfair. Which is in Bexley this year on the 3rd April.

I know I read something on here about batteries with a 'range', i.e. 25-50 should just be read as 25s. So maybe don't limit yourself and look at some straight up 25c ones if that helps?
-
Worth having a couple to switch between. Though though do have a handy charging station at the Mall.

Welcome back! Sandpit seems to be the one in your neck of the woods that is always mentioned as a 'must play'. We are looking to have a visit at some point this year.

99% of movie tie-ins are dreadful, low budget turds, riding on the coattails of the film itself. I struggle to name many that I have enjoyed. But the ones I do tend to enjoy, get a lot of hate from everyone else.

Welcome to the party

Pretty sure the 28th is booked out too.
-
Potentially going for an early spot on the day. Been booked out for weeks for that date.

Keep winding until it clicks. Surprising how many people don't know this. My G&G high caps nearly empty the whole mag on one wind. If you are determined on other mags I would definitely be careful. P Mag style ones that I have tried don't fit properly. And some mid caps I tried borrowing from a friend fed like crap. Sticking to G&G personally.

The briefing at the Mall on Sunday said they have a tooth related mishap once every three weeks on average. I haven't experienced it there myself but can definitely believe it. I always wear a lower mesh. When I bought the one I have it came with sticky foam you could cut to size which helped with the comfort issue, though some of it is starting to peel away.
