Nice one, I'll check my motor height and see if it gets any better
-
Just a quick one: I just tried my tr15 with new lipos. The new ones are 2600 mAh, 25c, 7.4v wired to deans connectors and after a couple hundred rounds to see if I had fixed the feeding issue (looking good so far) the motor felt rather hot through the grip, just starting to border on uncomfortable, but not too hot that I couldn't hold the grip. As far as I know, the gun is stock apart from being wired up to deans. Is this heating normal? I didn't notice it at my last skirmish using 1600 mAh NiMh batteries but I was wearing gloves whenever I held the grip And also. Changing the hop chamber for a Pro-Win seemed to fix the blowback. Now the ejection port opens more than half an inch

Alternatively, WE thought of a great way to resolve the issue... Fill the mags with gas and join us on the dark side

PEQ box, or a really short Lipo or life

Thought I'd leave this for the car lovers...

I'm sure an admin or mod Will close this thread soon for presenting strong pornography without a disclaimer I am, quite frankly, appalled that this be posted somewhere children could see it and develop new unusual feelings for cars every time their parents visited the petrol station -
Me and a friend once did the same thing as you. A group of about a dozen of us crossing mostly open ground around the perimeter of site, ran into some bad guys. After standing out of range for a second, another friend led a heroic charge into the enemy whilst me and my mate Sat back and waited to watch them all get shot. After most of them were dead, we agreed that if the first mate (who somehow wasn't hit yet) could medic the other 9 friendly players and revive the assault, we would eat our guns. Once he got the first few guys back up we ran into the fray and reinforced him. We ended up medicing every player and pushing through the enemies to the building we were tasked with taking And I still haven't ate my gun

Yea. Just give it a good blast with a hair dryer then with a thin cloth or handkerchief wrapped over the slide, press the pistol in and force the holster wider
-
First come first served I guess, pm me i with how much and well sort it

It should fit in a serpa, my WE 228 just needed a little bit of love to fit just right. Since you're getting a kjw, I have two spare mags for a 226 which don't work properly in mine, do you wanna buy two cheap spare mags?
-
A Blackhawk serpa for the pistol, and two mag pouches on a belt or molle drop leg
-
Who doesn't love nice clean and smooth balls, am I right? In all fairness, does it make a difference? Maybe its just my phone but the picture above just looks like bbs in soapy water to me
-
So what's the deal? Lob them in a bucket of water and give em a swirl?

Sometimes even your greatest ally can be an enemy

Yea. The g5 takes inspiration from the scorpion evo 3 but definitely isn't trying to replicate it accurately, hence the 5.56 magazine

Deans plugs / connectors? (Best place to buy & which)
TheGrover replied to Airsoft_Mr B's topic in Electric Guns
Don't worry about tinning, it's a soldering thing and it just means coating the connection with a little bit of solder, if you're getting a tech to do it then you don't even need to think about it. -
To be honest I didn't think it was that bad, if a little misleading at times. I also thought this thread would just include a couple of harsh replies and then die, but it's nice to see some constructive criticism and advice on an internet forum

In your own home with your own tools I've never sent a gun off to have work done and now I feel confident enough to have a go at fixing just about anything that could go wrong with my guns with a bit of research I understand that not everyone wants to get involved in the tech like that, but it never hurts to have a good understanding of how the gun works, so you can troubleshoot issues and diagnose problems

I just got mine now, and damn if it's not bloody bright. Five minutes after "testing" it and I still have a big blind spot burned into my retina

Looking to buy a L85 the question is which make ?
TheGrover replied to noodles23's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Imho, a GBBR is simpler than an AEG by a long way, though needs a little more love to run well. The maintenance isn't hard by any stretch of the imagination, and I only spend about 10 or 15 minutes with my G5 after each skirmish I'm probably looking for at least 300 or 350, throwing in 5 posh PTS mid caps instead of the two ICS high caps, battery box, four Lipo batteries, an sa80 one point sling and an sa80 three point sling -

I'm looking at selling my ics soon, has a bunch of aftermarket parts including the madbull rail system if you're interested -
Edit: I can't English Yes we are. The section you quote is in regards to carrying an (imitation) firearm with intent. Buying an airsoft gun to skirmish with and not to be a tool is a different section, there is another section specifically dealing with people who have been released from custody
-
I just read the specific section, and it clearly applies only to firearms and there is exactly zero mention of imitation firearms. Even more prudent, the only people who can decide this for certain are twelve peers and a man in a curly hair wig, which means a trip to the courts, and as yet. I don't think there has ever been a criminal case involving an airsoft player
-
I think that the officers giving the advice are just staying on the side of caution. Airsoft replica guns have specific exemption from certain aspects of firearm law and are legally defined as imitation firearms.
-
OK guys, this is my 1300 word letter that I knocked together. does anyone fancy proof reading it for me so I don't include all the mistakes that I cant see because im so tired? Thanks!

My point is the legal argument. From the document above, I think a key feature that will help define an airsoft gun is that it is not designed to handle these dangerous ammunitions. If this reccomendation is put to the commons and the Lords, it only takes a few loud people who feel strongly about RIFs (like the greens and labour) to require an airsoft gun to not be readily convertible to handle any missile other than a sphere. It's not my opinion, its just how I believe the document would be interpreted. And yes, you would need to replace the barrel, hop chamber and magazines, but most of us on here have done this already, only with aftermarket parts rather than custom parts. Thinking now, I don't think that an airsoft gun could be considered readily convertible this way...
