I think someone has underestimated one radios, my 70 quid pair of Topcom airsoft edition one radios works just fine with little battery left through a KILOMETRE of URBAN terrain. I haven't tested any further than that because that's already over twice as big as any site I know

I actually have one of those very sights... which i bought to replace another sight that was supposedly designed to handle the recoil of a shotgun/pistol. Until ive skirmished it fora few months and its still going strong, im gonna assume that its only a matter of time like my last one

I personally don't get great accuracy from my g5, but it's enough for my play style. As for miracle barrels, it depends on the gun, some use AEG parts, others need bespoke gbb parts. My g5 for example uses mostly AEG parts, and you can get a dmr kit for it. The one warning I will give is that any CNN gun WILL kill any electronic sight you put on it. It's only a matter of time, unless you have more money than sense and buy a real steel sight. I'm not sure about magnified sights, but I wouldn't bet on the zeroing holding very long

+1 on the 7.4, unless you're making a bb hose a 7.4 is plenty power

Without butchering the rail, you will need an adaptor, as the rail on the sa80 isn't a regular picatinny rail, it's a dovetail. The two simply aren't compatible

Nowhere to shoot? Set up your duvet as a makeshift bb trap and fire over your bed. It works for me and I've loaded every mag for my g5 to put enough rounds through it after I gave the bolt carrier internals some love and the fps shot up way over the site limit.

Strange, the hop on my 228 (identical to yours) will just about lift a .30, if that's the case, do what I've done and put a couple hundred rounds through it on full hop to get it settled in

And the hop rubber? If you look down the barrel (after clearing it and removing it!) Can you see the hop rubber being pushed into the bore?

Take the inner barrel assembly out and look down the barrel, can you see the hop rubber? What weight bb are you shooting?

Check that it seats correctly in the box shell, that its the right way round, the spring engages it correctly and there are no signs of damage on the latch or the gear

The most I've managed is 6 throws on one load in one life. The first one went off but didn't get anyone. The next 4 distracted them properly and the final one was too hopeful as the guy in the room had nowhere to go so kept his gun up. Funnily enough, I have actually eliminated someone with a dud before, he was so convinced he was going to be taken out, he bolstered his sidearm and covered his ears. I didn't shoot him because by the time I saw him, he was clearly out, so he swore to himself and said he'd never do that again

The anti reversal latch has given me bother in the past. Could try that.

Another confession: I often deploy my BFG more than once per reload when I'm playing aggressively. On Saturday a marshall picked up my beg after I ran off chasing someone through a building as they thought it was live. The Marshall made it safe without realising what I'd done It's always satisfying shooting someone in the back after they turned to run away from a dud grenade

My workspace is either the windowsill for small jobs, like resealing base o rings in two kj mags which spontaneously decided to stop holding gas as soon as I packed up from a skirmish Or it's the dining room table for a job that needs a gun laying out, which isn't ideal since my g5 loves pins which need punching out and the dining table is made of glass... On the upside it's really easy to see the tiny little screw you dropped

Another confession: After discovering that my new TR15 wasn't feeding properly due to a wobbly barrel/hop assembly, and that I had no idea how to remove the RIS and outer barrel... I resorted to the instruction manual... And squeakers on YouTube showing off their gun tech skillz And as a sub-confession, I also removed all 6 grub screws rather than loosening them and leaving them in the hole like a normal person. Swearing after being hit somewhere soft isn't a sin, it's an expectation. I took a bad shot right in the cockpit on Saturday from a sneaky bastard hiding in a dark room, and boy did he hear about it. Even if you've been knifed by someone, I'll usually call them a sneaky fucker, but it's more a compliment at how food they were at catching me off guard than derogatory

Take it off if you won't use it, but don't get rid of it. Ideally, your dot would be at the same height above the rails as your iron sights when you take aim, as many first person shooters do with an m4, this is what's meant by co-witness, but it doesn't always work out as airsoft gear is rarely built to the same dimensions.

i must confess my sins: yesterday, after having feeding issues with my new gun and after a few tests, identifying my PTS magazines as the cause... ... I used a high-cap i felt dirty with every shot, and winding the mag only made the feeling worse i had to caress my 30rd G5 mags for a full hour before i felt better enough to clean my guns before putting them away

You can spray an IF however you want. If you make it look realistic you technically need a defence (such as UKARA) but if it still looks unrealistic then you haven't committed any offence

First, do what everybody should do and complete the two month hire gun pilgrimage. By then you should have figured out how you like to play, and what kind of gun you suit, whether it's a light gun, a heavy gun, a gas gun, an electric gun, a machine gun, a dmr or anywhere in between. I personally like having a light gun as my rig is heavy enough, and I most enjoy close quarters indoor fighting, rather than outdoor full-auto fest spraying, where I usually grab my AEG and it's the only time I would consider using a high-cap. On the other hand, my mate loves having one gun and a high cap, leading a charge whilst laying down some crazy suppressing fire, he wears little gear on him and so can run at the enemy all day. Were all different. And you probably don't play like each of us because you have your own style
