  3. Having had the Helikon Tex Swagman in my basket for aaages waiting on it possibly dropping in price, I gave up and ordered an Ali Exp clone for 1/5th of the price. Not my first choice of camo, but the best out of what was available Great for lounging around the house ?

    Well g55 mags

To be fair I never even noticed it was GBB, I made offers on the 2 in the classified. One was holding out for more money & the other had other offers that must have outbid me, I went & ordered a new Cyma PDW instead as there was only a £20 ish difference & was likely going to be a wall hanger. & today had 2 notices of missed deliveries on the ONLY day this week that I had stuff planned, guess whose going to be sitting at the door all day tomorrow & Saturday.

    Noob question

Thanks for the info peeps, it all makes sense. Going on my first sortie in Feb, so yeah, I'm a bona fide noob so I'll learn all that stuff when I get there. Thanks again.

  9. Right - added to the new tax year purchase list then, thanks! It would be lovely if you could also get them in Mitchell pattern like the Helikon's, but beggars can't be choosers!

    HPA magwell adaptors

Recommended on HRC is to make them 230mm long, to stop misfeeds - which is typically caused by bolt bounce.

    KSC MP9 not feeding

Hey! The nozzle “sticking” won’t be the feed issue, that is just showing it’s got a good seal with the hop rubber. The bolt movement will ensure the nozzle comes free so don’t worry about that. For only feeding every other shot I’d check the mag feed lips first. I’ve found with certain mags and certain BB brands the BB can get caught on the part where the mag lip meets the mag. Remove the mag lip (2 pins) and gently file down the around the yellow highlighted parts to make sure its not sharp & has no burrs. Also do any sharp parts around the top of the lip while you are there, MP9’s can chew BB’s a little when loading due to the metal lips. If it’s still misfeeding after that I’d try a different brand of BB’s just to make sure. I found Excels tended to be slightly too small for the mag tract and would jam themselves up….

  13. Receiver set engraved by West Laser. 416 mag for the 416 I don't own. AEG parts because AEGs are totally in vogue right now and they're what everyone is talking about (Madbull buffer tube, 2 x G&P barrel nuts, old school TM lo-cap USGI style mag). Above is from MLE Mart. Website is pretty bad, but they went so far as to take the staple out of the packaging for the mag, wrapped it in bubble wrap then put it back inside. Well, someone did anyway, if it wasn't TM themselves I presume it was MLE.

  15. As much as I love my 1911, I really wanted something with a double stack magazine as they seem to run much better in the cold. Add in a polymer frame and you've got something that should run year round. Really pleased with this VFC/Cybergun FNX but my oh my is it a big boy.

    Noob question

As above, the only time you should ever have a mag in it is when you're in the game zone. Any decent site should be telling you this, regularly reminding you of it, and actively checking magwells on entering the safe zone - otherwise it's not safe in any sense. Mag in when you enter the game zone, cock it, job done.

    Noob question

I have had a similar issue with the MK23, but only when in the game area - e.g. bending down and somehow pressing the hammer in when it's holstered. It should never be an issue for you in the safe area, as your magazine should always be removed from the pistol anyhow. I use a DTD holster for the MK23 when playing which effectively blocks the trigger, so for me i simply have got into a discipline of cocking the hammer back before a game starts+ after using the pistol during a game.

    Noob question

A barrel blocker / barrel condom (properly fitted) will prevent accidental discharge Removing the magazine and firing to ensure there’s nothing left in there will mean there’s nothing to be shot

I really didn't like how my wall looked in the pics above so I spent some time today fixing it. Still need to find a place for a G36C, Scar-L both two tones that I'll rattle can some day & an M4 I'll just put behind my Mk18mod1.

  25. To be honest most of the time (particularly if the weathers a bit shit) I enjoy the social aspect of the game more than the actual game itself. Definitely a social hobby, most people love to chat about their kit. If you’re a regular to the same site chances are you’ll get to know people pretty well. I’ve certainly made some great friends in the sport.

  31. This is a bit of a stretch, as someone who keeps an eye on their products (but not yet bought any), but seeing their "in stock" items getting lower and lower each month and a lack of social media updates I get an uncomfortable feeling (with no evidence, but it feels like potential cash flow type issues).
