  3. Another day, another project. After getting messed around by JK Army I ended up buying a L85A3 MLOK rail directly from Angry Gun. This is getting fitted to a Ares L85A3 and obviously isn't a direct fit. I was going to chop up the Ares to make it work but since I have 3D printers, it seemed rude not to knock something up. Below is the 3D model. The V1 prototype is on the bottom and the original part on the top. V2 is in the printer now as I had to make some adjustments. Once I'm happy with the shape I'll start modding the 3D model to fit the Angry Gun rail. I also printed a very thin barrel band so that the Angry Gun gas block could be used.

  4. Cheap brands and optics will have laughable parallax and performance issues, especially the eotechs and other fancy scope types. If you shell out a bit for a vortex crossfire red dot, you'll never need anything else. I have this and a sparc ar and they are both top notch. That being said, I recently went for a vector optics maverick gen 2 which was about £60 on sale at opticswarehouse and my god this thing is quite amazing as well. The parallax effect is pretty much unnoticable when shifting my head, and I've used it for several games days, even on my sniper rifle for fun, and it has held up very well. Would recommend that specific sight, can't vouch for the others.

  9. Will do, I’m away from home for like 2-3 days, I’ll update when I’ve returned. I come from China, I’ve called the Shanghai airport customs and they said all my gadgets is allowed to carry out of China, but they don’t know whether they were legal in UK.

  11. As everyone has said it should be fine, anyone can own pc's etc. BUT I'm gonna say something contentious that not everyone may like, but it has to be considered. You haven't said where your coming from, home country or ethnic origin, & Unfortunately some government agencies have been known to use racial profiling as a tool to essentially narrow down their search process in the "fight against terror". In that respect, should you tick any of the stereotypical boxes they look at, as someone here on a student visa, it would crap if some over eager civil servant spots the "military vest", & misconstrued it's purpose. If you felt this was feasible, might be better to mail the vest to your UK address & avoid any unpleasantness. On the flip side, probably like many here I like to use certain brands in daily life, whether it's clothing or luggage etc, when travelling to certain countries I've been inclined to tone down my attire, turn up looking like a poster model for 5.11 etc & you may get mistaken for something your not. It's a worldwide problem, but all we wanna do is pew pew lol.

  16. How come this never used to be a problem? Surely women have huge experience carrying plates? In fact they should be regarded as experts in the field with centuries of going back and forth to the kitchen. Often also carrying food as well! Awsome. Sometimes the lack of respect for women infuriates me. ? Then I talk to my wife.
