I'm making a start on a mesh facemask modification myself. Tying strands of embroidery thread to it to make a Moustache. All the main British characters had moustaches, if you didn't have one, chances are your character gets killed. I take this as proof that adding a moustache to a face mask will make me harder to hit. It was apparently compulsory to have a moustache in the British army up until WW1, look at the death toll that resulted in!

  11. Lucky bast*rd lol, my college/school cost £50m and we still have tools from the old grounds which were started in the 50's. Best we have is a pillar drill, grinder/polisher and a laser cutter lol.

  12. Red Jacket did something like that with a Chicago Typewriter - I forget if they put a crane stock on it as well, or what, but there was definitely an RIS. It was for some local sherrif's dept. too - just doesn't bear thinking about, eh? Not just old bill, but yank old bill, spraying .45 cal FMJ around like it was on sale... run for the hills!

  15. Tac,this video shows how to tap for HPA,could be helpful in the future,I'd bookmark it. Pretty easy really,You can use a standard drill, some steady hands and a vice instead of a lathe. If you can tap two mags and have a quick disconnect line you can be sorted for reloads. Instead of the fancy threading tool Dobey has you can use the cheap ones from Lidl or aldi

    A loadout too far

Goggles have arrived. The lenses are pretty heavy duty but the way they clip into the frame isn't so I have used a bit of epoxy to hold them in more securely. Just need to give them a test and good to go. Also recieved my Burst Wizard Mosfet. It works some of the time but I do get the occasional 2 round burst. The other problem is I cannot get the screw that holds the collar with the rear sight out. The screw just turns and doesn't come out so I can't get the mosfet inside the gun Guess I will have to drill it out Goggles will take hits rather well, if you shoot them on the angle of the lens where I thought they would be weakest, it actually cuts the bb in half Got the screw out of my Sten and fitted the Mosfet inside, now for no apparent reason the semi auto started working every time.

  19. Thanks UTJ bolt handle is on the opposite side, laptop camera is retarded lol. I'm fairly concerned about muzzle velocity though as I saw some US reviews stating it was over 500 fps, so I'm going to try propane first. Assuming I can get a refund from an order which never came* I'll buy a propane adaptor and a couple of cans of it next week (unless I can use propane-butane mix?) *just a heads up, DO NOT BUY from Firestorm Kit based in Reading, it's been 2 weeks since I ordered a hydration pouch and I've received nothing other than an email confirming my payment despite emailing them with no answer. The business is a 1 man band and the phone number is for a mobile which is perpetually switched off. The billing address is a private house as well. Phoning them just went straight to voicemail, so on Sunday imma go round his house with a baseball bat (just kidding, the baseball bat is actually a piece of paper with SMALL CLAIMS COURT written on it )
