Where it all started 30 years ago & where it restarted 3 years ago... All my first AEG's in the 90's were springers except the Famas.

Spoken with site admin. Apparently Google suspended the email again, and it could take a few more days to sort out the issue.

@ruskitsellerhit the nail right on the head about the supposed death of forums ….. often cited that social media trumps forums, in the ignorance of what social media is and how long it has been around. Social media is suggested as beginning in the late 90s and taking off in the 2000s, but was preceded by 70s chat groups & bulletin boards A forum is a place for discussion, and internet forum software provides hosts with the ability to structure them They have evolved over time with numerous features beyond their origins, but remain as structured places Social media such as Reddit may be just a bulletin board system of today, Facebook is the current flavour of systems such as MySpace, these go in waves based on the population of those environments as a generation moves on and doesn’t want their day to day social media to be fully connected to their great aunt As these forms of social media lack a clear structure there sometimes becomes a misconception that the past is the past and has gone away, until a reminder of your night of debauchery a decade ago flags up in ‘memories’, which you can choose not to reshare - or even worse your friend shares their ‘memories’ involving you - it’s fine for a chat over old times, less so when you are now management and it flashes over your profile Forums do die, but they are the place that keeps getting visited, and I do like it when someone comes up on a forum to tell the community that forums are dead so come over to my new forum

Dunno if this will help but here is what's in my stock... there's a couple of spade connectors in the stock so fitting a mosfet should be easy enough.

I heard somewhere (I think it was on a podcast so take it with a pinch of salt) that social media algorithms deliberately only give you content it thinks you want about 30% of the time. This is because if it only gave you content you're interested in most people would get bored quicker, whereas drip feeding relevant content causes a little buzz and dopamine hit when something relevant or interesting pops up. This causes users to mindlessly doomscroll for longer

It would need would probably need to be opened up to see what the issue is. You can post photos and videos here. Then we can all try to help you.
-
-
Don't suppose you'd know how to solve the etu issue would you? Or if you have WhatsApp if can send you some photos/videos over and see if it is that thats causing it?
-
I genuinely never thought to do that! 🤦🏻♂️ I’ll give that a bash 👍 That would certainly help narrow things down
-
It probably has an ETU in it; if so, the problems that you are having may be due to that not being set up properly.

Paintball mask, but price isn't unreasonable as the pro's are ~£150

They're thick i believe mate

yeah, but r/airsoftcirclejerk is quite amusing (and occasionally absolutely hilarious). As with all social media it's about curating your own experience. I often see people complaining that their TikTok fyp is just full of porn. Mine isn't because that's not what I use the platform for. Find the content you DO want, interact with it and the various algorithms with usually (not always, granted) steer you where you want to go.

Are the wires thick and bendy or are they thin and rigid?
-
-
I'll take some photos after work and post them, it does beep when a battery is connected, but also its just two wires connected to a deans connector in the stock tube
-
If there is nothing in the stock tube and it is still working, albeit with a fault, buying one of those is not going to solve the problem. If you are not confident about opening the gearbox, you need to get someone to do it for you. Can you take a photo down the stock tube and post it here? When you connect a battery, does the gun bleep?
-
-
He said only thing he know if the MOSFET has been changed I'm assuming there should be one of these in the stock tube? (But there isn't) do I need to buy this and hope that would sort the issue out?
-
I usually write my questions on the back of toilet doors with my number. I usually get a better answer than I do on this forum.

OP, hi mate, I think a few lads may echo this who have been around the airsoft block a bit - this forum is about as good as it gets. People have been 'feeling' that forums have been dying since the days they were first created in the early ages of the internet...but alas...they persist. 😁 This is a decent platform, especially if you have a tech issue. There is a helpful knowledge base here and a buoyant well regulated classifieds section. The team behind the forum do a good job to manage it. You won't get 'downvoted' for asking a simple question (no matter how many times it has been asked) and refreshingly - you also won't get banned for having a different opinion. Cheers
