You could probably fit an upside down m249 gearbox and p90 hop up in there

Real Sword T97 gearbox would do well!

Oh that is soo cool, probably my favourite wacky weapon ❤️

Buy it, or tell me where 😱

I'll sort a link or something out, someone in the states. It disassembles too.

A really good base for a project it seems.

Mk23?

If any  gun merited a high speed wanker build its that.

A 3 round silly fast burst would be good, but I play pretty much only cqb or fibua, a mk23 would work well.

This.

Anyway, props to whoever designed/made this.

I always wanted to build a Crye MR-C from GRAW. I started drawing up 2D plans to hotwire cut a foam blank, cover it in fibreglass/carbon then melt the foam away. This was 13 years ago, so 3D printing wasn't a 'thing' and there was no free 3d design packages like Fusion 360.

Maybe one day I'll build one...

if they allow tri-shot shotguns then maybe you could ask for an exception?

hell i wouldn't object if someone turned up with an actually functional g11

I could ask. I would even be willing to then run at 0.75 joule or something just to take the edge off.

But if I go down that route I would go HPA I think.

I just liked the MK23 idea because it was simple.

Obviously they will require finishing and modelling skills.

I've asked him what a bunch would cost then I can just throw the price out there.

We would be looking at £220 for them, printed in a stronger resin. Possibly a little less but that's with a bit of a margin for print failures and shipping ect.

That’s not bad, I’d like to see a better quality print, but I don’t expect he’ll be letting the print file go lol

That's what's going to happen with the stronger stuff. Though tbf, it's not that hard to tidy it up.

I'll get one myself as a test dummy.

Just floated the idea to him to make a few.

I have never heard of this thing, the real steel is a fascinating concept

an airsoft version will be amazing to see 😎

Its one of those guns alongside the an-94 the enfield and the sks that amazes me hasnt had an airsoft reproduction, its not like it'd be that difficult either given the externals are meant to be a plain polymer box.

It hasn't been made as it never went into production so wasn't adopted by any forces or fearured in TV/Movies or Manga.  THose are the prime ways that replicas get made.

I was only aware of it from Demolition Man until Forgotten Weapons did a feature

But it was in call of duty which normally seems to be enough to spark interest.

Actually, one of the now defunct Japanese manufacturers made one in the early 90s. Most likely JAC or Asahi. Or even Sun Project.

If there's a chance of getting my grubby mits on an airsoft G11 I have one question. Anybody know where I can get a good price on a slightly used kidney?
