If you do not use it then it cannot get damaged; you know that you own one and that can be satisfying enough .

Crye website is $175 not including postage and import costs. Looking at the small stain on them doesn't take much away from them at all/no bobbling etc so I would say if postage and paypal fees are included this isn't an unfair price. Plus I think it is quite hard to buy from Crye directly from overseas. I know I couldn't when they had a huge sale earlier this year.
Supporters TheFull9 Posted August 21, 2018 Supporters Share Posted August 21, 2018 You can't buy from them, I've really tried, called them up a couple of times. As it stand they categorically do not process non-US payment methods. There was mention from one of their CS people at SHOT 17 of opening up to international orders but it's still on their to-do list it seems. It's also made more unlikely since useless leeches like Level Peaks who do nothing but take money for drop-shipping product are in the mix and they don't want to lose their cash cow. Dentonboy
The amount I have blown on Crye over the last few years probably runs into mid four figures. The amount I have made trading some would end up a little less. The comparable amount is probably spent by some on here for booze and tabs so I can live with myself. Don't smoke. Hardly drink. Have a wife who doesn't raid my account. Three wins. Plus, being Crye, I know it will sell for what I paid for it, or more. Fourth win.

Thats why friends/family state side is my saving grace. Might not be able to order direct but still have ways to get what I need 😉

Absolutely spot on mate !👍 Does make me laugh when you see some drug addict (that is what a smoker is after all) bitching about the price of what ever with a fag hanging out of there gob ! 🤦♂️
trojanhorse
I buy my Crye on ebay new and for a good price. Each to their own but bashing someone for it seems a bit off. Some people think our hobby is strange. We are different and that makes life exciting.

Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 1, 2018 Supporters Share Posted September 1, 2018 Just arrived, paid about 1/3 of retail taking to account it's a G3 but came with the AC elbow pads in RG that'll get sold.

I just got similar from eBay, new, for 55 quid. Happy with that!
Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 2, 2018 Supporters Share Posted September 2, 2018 Should've spent £40 on the TMC ones also on eBay, makes more sense in the long run.

I know, can only apologise to those offended by my flagrant spending habits. Fully anticipate some hand wringing! Ultimately, a £55 new Crye top is a steal. Cheap Crye needs to be snapped up. Know anyone selling RG pants? Other brand's RG tone differs widely. Find that Crye's are quite OD in reality. FR considered, am not too fussy. Had a Field set before but sold them on. Although regret it now. Thanks. Everything goes with RG. RG is a great tone to mix it up a bit. Sorry for my rambling.
