Not sure if the extras and upgrades warrant this being 90% of the retail price but wanting £20 for shipping is taking the piss

Personally i always factor shipping costs into my asking price but £20 is not unreasonable. depending on size and weight parcel force 48 can run £13/14 and you can easily spend another £7/8 on packing materials.

As @-davo- posted rifs aren't covered by the extra insurance so I didn't include it and as said rif is being shipped in its original box the only extra packaging material needed is something to cover up the outside

Ah, but you're missing the fine details... 'fully upgraded' doubles the value.

Given the clown is also selling v3 AKM GHK mags with the feedlips already filed (GHK system is reliant on the feedlips being tight to get proper airseal, if you are getting jams its the BBs or your guidetabs on the nozzle not the feedlips, but I digress) I doubt he could upgrade his own arse with both hands.  I have forgotten more than this clown knows about GHKs.

If the argument did hold water that the upgrade parts were worth full value its still doesn't account for £600 difference.  But hey, don't criticise him!

Did I really need a smiley face to emphasise sarcasm? :)

Unless they've changed their terms, there's no point buying the insurance with PF since, as far as I remember, RIFs are excluded from the extended insurance cover
I'd be surprised if they even gave you the £150 in the standard cover they offer for any lost rifs

I've had a chat with Luke over at negative airsoft about this and he's explained how even if the delivery van ran over a mine and exploded or if the driver got a change of heart and decided to take your pew and become a nomad in the woods they'd find a way to weasel out of the cover, it's just completely pointless and a waste of money really

Didn't even spot that, just thought the price was a bit mad, these are £125-£150 rrp usually ?

Correct. However I haven't seen those green grips before so maybe there's £100 worth of krylon on there???

Also I don't know where he got the idea that's a flared mag well. It looks pretty standard to me

I don't know why he's calling it a "magwell safety" either

I guess he means the grip safety

"Beginners bundle" = Two-tone shit I bought and used for a month before dropping the sport - whilst trying to salvage what I paid. Although, what caught my attention is that the OP bought four of the same batteries, presumably for the usage of the same RIF. Plus, there are plenty of retailers with simply superior "beginners bundles" to offer for a fraction of the price

@leez How about you actually listen to people who are clued on this stuff rather than getting all defensive and bitter in your ads? If you want to discredit Monkee because his lack of selling reviews, I'll simply parrot it XD

@Tackle If this isn't aloud please delete.

It's Macks, outing sellers with banter & mild piss taking is OK, preferable here than in the actual sales posts.

Obviously nasty or threatening abuse will get people banned In a heartbeat,  everyone needs to keep that in mind.

At the end of the day, any seller can ask what they like, getting it is another matter.

Thanks for clarification, absolutely not out to be nasty. But genuine constructive criticism is fair game to this bloke regarding his ads.

Starting the week of strongly with this one: https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/35531-tokyo-marui-416d-kit

A Starter kit, but £1200 + £50 shipping, and an upgraded NGRS that only seems to have an upgrade of a Fet, but not listing and other internal hardware such as gears, pistonhead etc. The motor is a nice touch but the EG1000 are fine for 90% of builds, considering that according to the ad the compression parts are stock.

And the kicker, mental maths puts the actual contents of the ad around a generous £1100 brand new

Presumably he's factoring in the absolute rinsing inflicted by EAGLE6 for throwing in the Titan and trigger.  I also like that he's listed a sling swivel, but nothing about replacing any TM parts designed to run at 0.8J, or even what spring has ostensibly bumped it to 1.1J.  The ANGY SHOUTING about not splitting this bargain bundle up is the perfect opener. That'll take some beating.

That is absolutely wild, where do you even start with that? ?

Reminds me of @leez adverts!?

Tbf, I have never seen the usual RRP justification by retailers. Its a VFC MPX licensed via Cybergun - of which its cheaper companion, the King Arms MPX-K offers far superior price-performance ratio.

There's really no point in buying one unless you're getting it at a severe discount and intend on changing most of the internals.

I should have attached this too, but the VFC 100rd mid-caps, do indeed hover around 40, whilst the King Arms 100rnd mid-caps tend to be below 18, and 10 from HK.
