How much do I spend??? Farrrrrr too much!

Pfft, you noob! Haha.

My L85 alone has cost me over £1000 and I still have to get more mags for it.

My L119 build is projected to cost around £900

The other 9 guns I've has since 2010 have obviously incurred huge costs...

I don't think you've spent a penny in comparison lol.

I've spent at least £348.57 so far, £150 on a pretty sh*t AEG (compared to everybody elses) and I haven't even been able to do a shooting test yet really because of those battery problems + to then see the wires and completely severed (PB didn't notice it, the design to get the battery out is stupid you have to pull the cocking lever back and the metal just cuts the wires) Anyway going off topic..

So still nothing compared to anyone else in these forums, especially Ed, but I'm not happy with my loadout and I think I look stupid. Everybody else looks really cool and I just look like some little kid with an army costume. I'd happily spend a lot more if I could but I have like no money.

Nothing is cheap when it comes to airsoft. As soon as you get someting you want your then looking for something better that you want.

I havent been playing airsoft long and i think ive spen aroud 900 pounds already, not alot in comparison to some people but a lot of money none the less.

To be fair I do spend a stupid amount on airsoft, I don't really like saying when non-airsofters ask me, because it's mental lol but that's because I spend it on literally nothing else lol.

Food is about my only other expense. Aside from the cost of skirmishing anyway.

Ye but you spent £1000 on what? ;)

I spent what I have and have distance over sopmods aswell as some other guns.

I can snipe out of the second/third floor window at the Stan and reach the reception doors no problems ;)

Mine (touchwood) has not broke and gets used properly ;) spin see less money spent is a bonus!

Bloody load out is a different story lol!

Pfft, you say it like my L85 wouldn't outperform your G36, I laugh in the face of your claim lol.

A lot of it was spent on the externals to get it to look authentic:

RIS and adapter were about £145

Grip pod £20

LLM £70

Flash hider £30

Rail ladders £60

ACOG and docter £100

Wing mount £30

ACOG mount £30

However, I have also upgraded the internals and tuned them to perfection. I can hit 60m with .25s shooting at around 310fps.

Twist barrel £80

Motor £80

Hop £15

Piston head £25

Shims £4

Hop nub £10

Then there's all the generic stuff like slings, magazines, batteries, chargers, lubes, grease, oils, BBs etc

I've probably missed a lot, but if you're that bothered I have a full run down of everything in the AEG review section.

I tend not to use it much at the Stan because it weighs about 6kg lol but I'll bring it especially for you.

Is it true The Stan's closing soon? I heard the factory got bought.

I might lose on ROF, I'll say that right now.

I generally only use semi auto because I run real caps, so I'd just dump mags in seconds on auto. I only tuned it enough to give me instantaneous trigger response, ROF is just above average I'd say.

Range though, I generally lose sight of my shots before I see them start to drop.

What internal upgrades are you running?

I plan to balance what I spend on airsoft. Play once a month or so and have a few rifles. So far ive spent a couple hundred on skirmishing, gear and my side-arm. I plan to spend at least £600ish more by the end of the year on a G&G FN2000 (electric for skirmishing) and a GBBR (for skirmishing and a film prop/sound design)... Thats on guns alone. In terms of apparel then I have a few hundred more for that :P Since I am happy with my PC setup now my spare money will go to airsoft.

£1600 so far (excluding consumables and game fees), soon to be another £1300 added on.

If anyone's interested, by 3 biggest spendings are:

Laptops - £2700.

Car + Insurance - £2500.

Airsoft - £1600. Soon this'll be top with £2900, maybe even £3000.

I think I overspend..

There's plenty of guys well in to the tens of thousands, I know a couple of blokes who are definitely pushing over the 100k.

So no, a couple of grand is really nothing to worry about, you're not going mad, heh.

I live within my means... I'll leave it there! However, I am slightly disturbed that on you workbench you have not one, but TWO hammers!

I'd love to have 18 trillion hammers. V2 gearboxes need to all be destroyed.
