  2. isn't fucking up a perfectly good gun the best bit of the hobby?
  3. There isn't a definition of the lowest capacity to which a skirmisher is defined. UKARA is a very good system for retailers, it leaves a papertrail with no single person being capable of adding a random person to the database (requires both site and retailer to add a player) This is why retailers use it. Yes, it's not a LEGAL obligation to have UKARA but it is the accepted 'standard'. If YOU, the seller, are happy that the buyer is a skirmisher then all is legal. If you're onsite I'd say anything goes (over 18) because only skirmishers would be onsite. If you're in a closed facestupid group, I'd probably argue the same. On here? Although I wouldn't use it alone as a proof of skirmisherness, I'd feel comfortable selling to a regular on here if their UKARA had expired recently or they had photo evidence of them on-site.
  4. The incompatability thing isn't really an issue though, unless you're trying to waste your money: 1. Go in store and actually look at the product or 2. Use the 14 day online sales return that you MUST provide as a retailer.
  5. ah ok, couldn't find any info at all on repro. of antiques.
  6. Pmags are shorter from the top to the start of the curve, Emags are longer.
  7. nnngghhhehhhhhh, maybe not. It's possible that it falls into the Sec.58 antiques category (obsolete calibre AND muzzle loading) If that's the case, it can be owned as a 'curiosity' and I'm sure I've seen people shooting similar firearms at the range I shoot at. The thing I would suggest is this: Someone MAY want it as a curiosity, If this is the case, there are plenty more available within the UK already, and I would question why he doesn't buy one locally. This seems dodgy. Just sell it locally to yourself and don't risk any charges.
  8. I use PTS P/E/T and EPM magazines. all are currently still loaded from november, before that they were stored since June.
  9. You should store things 'as inert as possible' IE: Battery out mags out safety on any electrical switches off Mags empty (although I don't personally do this for time-saving reasons. also, the spring tension thing is a theoretical loss of tension, not anything you would actually notice. It is compressive cycles that ruin a spring.)
  10. You want a 363mm 6.03 barrel (6.01 is too tight), plenty of brands to choose, they'remostly the same thing, just avoid Nuprol. Bucking, again, many to choose, try a maple leaf 60 degree AEG and GBB cuts are different, so you need an AEG type.
  11. Just had my race pistol stolen out of my car.

  12. A car is by far the best buy anyone anywhere can ever make. Yeah, it's a little knackering getting up early to drive to a far away site, but more often than not the trek is worth it. Ever considered using a Taxi? and just for fun:
  13. G&Gs are good, Can't say I like the Bolt rifles that much. Have you looked at (I think I'd be right in saying) the forums favourite AEG manufacturer, Krytac?
  14. tbf, sitting duck is pretty fabulous. We do like that -for the most part- you lot tend to not argue, bicker or hold grudges. We enjoy that it's a hands-off attitude most of the time. We are only a very small Mod. team for the number of members, but I like to think we are high quality. Dev does computer nonsense professionally, less active mods (but still whitelisted) do law nonsense professionally, I do airsoft nonsense professionally, also, Monty is here (Love you Monty). In short, we know our shit. None of us draw an income from this place, we do it out of the goodness of our own hearts. As such, the less work we have to put in the better, really. But that's not to say we don't put effort in. We have discussed the issue of post counts for sales thread users previously at length, but decided that the current way is best. After all, as Samurai said, it only encourages spamming and general quality of posts to decrease. We'd rather have quality posts everywhere that we can and have sales open to whoever chooses to use them. If a user signs up and only uses the sales, then they're losing out on an excellent community, whilst our excellent community benefits from another potential new shiny toy for one of you. Hopefully, you've all noticed a bit of an effort to keep on top the last few days, but we are a small team. Rather than posting that a user should have pictures, please REPORT the thread, we can then deal with it much quicker and in an appropriate manner, besides not bumping a rule violator to the top of the page. Reporting allows us to keep an eye on the thread for pictures if required or kill it if not (and I have killed a few threads recently, but you won't tend to see the killed threads as much as the ones we give the benefit of the doubt to) Most of you are aware of the Dev situation and we do ask that you bear with us whilst we try and sort a bunch of back-end stuff out, but he is currently the only Admin and he's a busy guy. TL;DR: We know the problems Report more infringements rather than 'solve them' yourselves Keep up quality posting Forums are only as good as it's members, and I think we have a pretty cushy setup here. Cheers Dave
  15. almost certainly a Tippmann M4 Little adjustment allen bolt on the inside for adjusting fps.
  16. Mine was doing about 390 OOTB if I remember right. With the variance, I'd say that there is a compression issue or air leak somewhere
  17. I can't really see a rule violation here (now that the other 2 threads are gone ) so I'll leave this up. I would suggest to the OP that you explain more clearly WHY you want our opinions on strange survey style in broken english, rather than just asking us like everyone else.
  18. AFAIK ALL V2 M4 gearboxes have the loop, there isn't really another sensible way to retain the mag catch/realease. The VFC 417 gearbox is different and ther receiver holds the catch and it kinda looks M4ey. I'd imagine that's what you're thinking of
  19. Have you SS beyond the DSG at all? I've using a 150 on a full length DSG and getting smack on 328
  20. I have the same conversation with the guys who ship the orders daily, thankfully they don't do the painting. I do. It would be stock and rail
  21. SPR is great, my preference would be to buy a CRB, but only as I already own a few full length AR's. Performance across the longer range is similar tbh. Two toning, I work for Patrol Base and do about 95% of the paint jobs we do, so I do have opinions on it. Choose a blue two tone service (if you buy from us) as the paint is MUCH more pleasant to use, gives a flatter finish and just looks better. We would paint the stock and handguard (all removed from rifle, not masked) so it doesn't actually look awful.
  22. KRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTAC KRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTAC KRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTAC KRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTAC KRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTACKRYTAC OR an ASG Scorpion Evo, but the krytac is better.
  23. stuff like hammers breaking when you drop them. They tend not to wear out that easily, but if manhandled, do break and then you need to consult your Ladybird manual:
  24. My first reactions to the WE 1911 double barrel thing (WE 3822 - 1911X2) were caught in excellent, very professional filming at the shop. Honest. Definitely not by me with phone in one hand, pistol in the other and recording in vertical
  25. They're a decent bit of kit when they're working. Manufacturer is KWC. If/when it breaks, just bin it, they don't manufacture spare parts for KWC pistols.
