  1. What is practicle shooting? Ive seen those vids of people running round courses and shooting targets that would appear to very impractical have nothing to do with anything you would encounter in real life, i.e someone trying to actively kill you. Im not saying its not fun like.

Bought this last year but doesn't really suit me. Won't bore you all with extensive details, it's a plastic helmet with a onetigris helmet cover. Pretty much all of us know what these are. Looking for 60 quid collected from pe13/Wisbech, or 70 quid posted. Will also consider swapping it for a free floating m4 handguard, something with at least a top rail, or anything you might want to swap.

  3. OK - Exfog is a doddle to set up. The XT's come with the little magnet hose things, push the adapter through a hole in the seal vents (desert locust for me), point at the lens and you're golden - don't need to make any destructive holes or anything. If you have active headsets, you are going to hear every little bit of it functioning, but its easy enough to switch off when you don't need it. The vent is on the bottom of the unit and the hose adapter actually creates an intake space, so unless you're using a really restricting pouch it will have plenty of space. I got the XT without the headband for ~£50 from Specs4sports, which I think makes it about £10 cheaper than the Novshit. I could feel the air even on the lowest setting, and the full power burst mode is mental.
  4. I was order 339 in Jan 2023 and still have not gotten anything.

I bought this thinking it was smaller, so have shown it next to a "coke can" target (not included) to give you an idea of how chonky it is. So it's not really suitable for a pistol or small SMG, but should be decent on a rifle etc. It's since gone unused and I'm having a clearout. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please PM any questions as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  6. Back in the good old days (early 90s) I used to shoot practical pistol, real guns, shooting through and around set obstacles. More recently (late 10s) I dabbled with practical shotgun and 3Gun. Same thing, following a course of fire, shooting around or through set obstacles against a timer with penalties for missed targets etc. So, so much fun. I see that there is a company darn sarf that does an airsoft version but I cant find anything national. Is there a national association, league or anything? If not, why? Has it been tried and failed or just not something that's been tried?
  7. Maybe but it looks goofy. I prefer helmet over anything else but you can set it up as you please. Boonie, baseball cap or even Dye. You can buy that velcro pouch separately. Also, it's worth to mention that Exfog came out with a new version (XT) not long ago so you'd be better to buy that one. Mine is "first gen".
  8. I'm looking to buy an old disused lighthouse. Does anybody know of one for sale? I am happy to buy anything, but don’t want anything too flashy.

Selling my olive green Delta Mike face mask as I'm leaving the hobby. As shown in the last picture I have removed the toggle on the back for tightening the bungee and glued the ends together because I found it was very uncomfortable if you are wearing anything on your head. This doesn't affect the functioning of the mask at all, as I have glued it tight enough that it will stay around your head, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable. Other than that it is in great condition. Price includes postage and Paypal fees. Thanks!

  11. When I was using 0.28g the ASG Cursed line were faultless, so this is up to summer 2023 before I and my son moved to 0.32g across the board for AEG's and pistols. Their price is great, they're easy to get hold off (I'd usually buy three of four bags at a time from Patrol Base along with other consumables), didn't get any in the bag that were damaged or any "dust" in the bottom of the bag. Personally I couldn't find anything better for the price.

I absolutely love this gun, only selling as I need to downsize the collection. Upgraded with a 60 degree Maple Leaf Macaron bucking and nub. The original bucking is not included but a regular AEG nub is. Only used for about 5 games, so all is in excellent condition. There is 1 screw missing on one of the side rails, this is perfectly fine if you aren't attaching anything to it, but if you want to, I'd recommend buying another screw (about £7 iirc). The nozzle currently installed is the 1J nozzle which brings it to around 330fps, but I will include original too. An odin speedloader adapter for the mags will be included. This can be used with a regular speedloader if you don't have an odin to make loading easier and to help protect the feed lips. Comes with 5 mags all leak free- 4 black and 1 tan. Willing to trade (and maybe some cash) for another GBBR (must be m4 based such as GHK M4, MWS, VFC HK416A5 etc) Based in Coventry for collection, willing to travel for a trade and shipping can be arranged for £10. Willing to split and sell just mags.

  13. Another weekend, another skirmish at Worthing Airsoft. I was intending to use the m40a5 today, either with my HK45 as a sidearm, or my mac11 + mk23 combo, but as I was experimenting on the range with my chrono, the power was dropping with every shot. Issue with running a gas bolt action in the cold is that the cooldown effect of each shot just compounds and makes it worse, so the mags were progressively getting colder and the ambient temperature was making it worse. So that was out, but I at least had my HPA VSR as a backup so I set that up at 2.25J and took it out with the HK45 as a sidearm, as if I'm running a line I don't like using the mac11 because the shoulder rig I run it on constantly catches the HPA line and it's a pain to deal with (especially when you're trying to move as little as possible so people don't see you) Anyway, I went out for the first game which was a large, multi-objective game that would last until lunch. Brilliant, I love these games! I took a spot in a holly bush to overwatch a path, though at this time of year there aren't many leaves on them! It was a good spot to hold though as I single-handedly held the path against a lot of players that just couldn't locate where the shots were coming from. Some BBs were sprayed in my general direction, but with me low to the ground and surrounded by foliage nothing was coming close to me. I eventually got taken out when some regulars led a massive group of enemy players down the path. I managed to take out the two regulars, but was taken out by one of the other players as there was a wave of about 12, so one of them was bound to spot me after I opened up with the GBB pistol! I respawned, grabbed two teammates and went to cut them off again, but there were only about 3 of us and we weren't able to stop them from getting into a base and digging in. I then tried to go around them, got a bit lost and went out of bounds where I bumped into another sniper on the other team. I said we were out of bounds so we walked back in game and had a gentleman's agreement to not shoot each other, but he ran off and told his team I was there so I got taken out pretty fast. Respawned again and headed the other way this time, as their team were firmly entrenched on the other flank, so I thought I could punch through a gap by going the other way. I hugged the boundary and came up to their respawn where I went to ground. I didn't shoot, because spawn camping is bad, but I wanted to wait until nobody was in their spawn so I could cross over, get to the fence line, move along to another base and shoot them in the back, as they wouldn't be expecting shots to come in from behind. One player respawned and almost walked on top of me, but thankfully due to the power of my KMCS ghillie suit just kidding, I run a cape ghillie that I built off a webtex concealment vest, but it worked well enough for the enemy player to pass me by. I let him get clear of me, before I scurried across their now empty respawn and got to my fence line. My blue armband was on my right arm, but they could only see me from the left, so I made it look like I was a yellow player and hoped I didn't bump into anyone who would recognise me and realise I was on the other team. I think I only passed one player this way, who didn't recognise me and I got into my sniper spot. Problem was, I was fogged up and the sun was in my direction, so I couldn't see anything through my scope. I got a few players as I tried to get my heart rate down and stop sweating quite so much, then as I heard the 10 seconds left call, I took out one last guy who was chatting with his friends and then the game over was called. It was funny, because while I was in that position, a yellow player spotted me as he was heading back to the safe zone to get his lunch and gave me a nod and mouthed "well played". It was very amusing, but it was also frustrating because our team just wasn't really doing anything. Every time I made a play, there might've been 2 or 3 other people around. Apparently most of our team were sitting in a pair of bases that the enemy team just... avoided because they didn't have objectives there. It also didn't help that the spawns weren't far enough apart / far enough from bases, so there was some spawn camping happening on both sides. I then decided to set my VSR back to 1.1J. The reasons are twofold; first, it's a lot quieter on 75psi than it is on 130psi. I think it's louder than my gas m40a5 when firing at 2.3J. Secondly, I found that Worthing Airsoft is a bit too... twiggy. The foliage is almost non-existent at this time of year, so there's very little to hide in, but there's a lot of twigs everywhere. The flora at Worthing Airsoft is lots of coppices, so while there aren't many leaves on them, there's lots of twiggy bits everywhere and threading long range shots is a bit weird. I'll still run the m40a5 at 2.3J, but with the VSR, the difference in sound signature just makes 1.1J the better call. I'll keep it as a backup gun. Didn't play the afternoon games as the guy who drives us up there has an issue with his ankle and can't really play, so me and the other guy decided to call it early as it doesn't feel fair to drag it on. Also, I couldn't put my finger on it, but the atmosphere today was off and all in all it felt a bit weird. I don't think there was too much enthusiasm to play on either side today, I think the spawn camping made people annoyed and a good chunk left at lunch, and... I don't know, it's hard to put into words, but there was this uneasy feeling looming over the game day today. Might be heading to Driver Wood next weekend, so it'll be good to get out to another site. Will probably use the opportunity to run a DMR as I like their DMR rules and my HPA m21 really prefers running at DMR power than anything else.

I bought this brand new in June/July last year and had it delivered straight to Luke at Negative Airsoft. He fitted a Perun MOSFET, Warhead Base motor, one of his nozzles, a Novritsch flat trigger, a long with various other bits to optimise the performance and reliability. This is of course shimmed beautifully too. Later on I added a Maple Leaf Macron and Omega nub to perfectly match the 310mm Maple Leaf 6.02 inner barrel, which runs through the outer barrel extension and a more powerful spring to bring me to 1.05J with 0.28g's. Additionally it has an aftermarket rotary hop unit, to better match the nozzle. As you can see from the chrono results, this all results in very consistent shooting, right around the perfect power output for most sites. As you can perhaps imagine, it's subsequently got great range and accuracy. It's also super snappy/responsive and sounds great too. The fully licensed externals of this RIF are made to a very high standard, IMO it feels a lot nicer than the Specna Arms MK18. It also comes with a very easy quick change spring system. I've only skirmished it for one half-day. So it's in excellent condition inside and out. If I had to think of any slight negatives, it's that I unfortunately caught the wires when putting the buttstock back on, but these were professionally repaired by my local retailer. Also, when they were working on it, a tab came off the Warhead, so was soldered back on. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Please PM me any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything added to the listing.

  16. 2. Tracer Unit's are much brighter these days. Go with a new one. 5. Anything will fog up with someone determined enough, but it's probably a good choice. 6. The issue is finding a threaded barrel. Detonator made one but they are long discontinued and very expensive. Due to the rotating nature of the barrel it's not the greatest platform to run a silencer either. Use a different pistol.
  17. If it worked for you might as well stick with it, but a lot of people like the Odin speed loaders, may be worth a look. I've got the "AceTech Brighter C" and cannot recommend it enough. Depends on what you want to spend, Nuprol ones do the job, but if you want something a bit more cheeky, the Vortex range is a good go-to. Not my cup of tea due to restrictions on peripheral vision and claustrophobic feel. I use "Bloc Tactical" EyePro and they are fantastic, never fog up, are literally bulletproof, and have interchangeable lenses for different environments. A lot of this is preference more than anything, but hope this helps. I might have to get back down to z-mart again, was a laugh last time!
  18. Gunna pop in here as Ive got a bit of a issue with my MWS. Ive got the annoying issue of Semi auto "run on". Basically if I fire the gun continuously in semi, it will some times it will fire more than one shot. I did service the trigger pack with a small amount of Superlube MP grease, but Ive since learned/remembered that the MWS trigger pack doesnt like grease. So since Ive flushed it out with silicone spray as advised by Ollie Talks Airsoft. How ever he did mention about replacing the hammer? Nothing on what exactly. But sometimes as ive been testing this issue returns. Ive said bugger it, and ordered a GM Full spring set. I do have a Dytac spring set in the trigger box currently but its several years old now. I do also have a GM adjustable sear B for the trigger pull, and adjustable flat face trigger, but all grub screws are OUT so they dont do anything currently. Curious if anyone else has run into this issue, and if so share your fix? Video of the issue here: https://youtu.be/jGMGM4Z-P8o
  19. Hi, I was hoping someone could confirm on what part has broke on my sons aap01. It shot out metal the last time he used it and besides the damage to the nozzle assembly the only other part I see broken is as depicted. He uses this as a primary and has started using HPA, is anything else liable to break if so any recommendations what to get. Thanks in advance.
  20. I've seen users post short vids (measured in seconds rather than minutes) when troubleshooting a problem (i.e. rough sounding or misfiring gearbox etc.) but anything longer I would suggest hosting on YouTube and linking on here instead.
  21. Account > My Attachments. 100Mb is the allocated amount per user. Not aware of an upload limit - but unless you have large PDFs or similar I don't see why your upload would be anything other than Kbs rather than Mbs, especially if you follow Mr McSpoons example and optimise the images beforehand.
  22. Don't know channel, but my sympathies. If he's been given three months, that could still mean anything. My friend recently lost her mum to a particularly nasty form of cancer, nearly 12 months after her original prognosis.
  23. I hardly ever pull my pistol out of its holster, I only carry it due to engagement distances Me being a lardy, I seem to get taken out of the game before I’m close enough! My faithful tm g17 & emg hi capa, both work fine with .28’s My EmmmmmKaaaay - 23 which was heavily modified, would overhop anything below .4’s!! ( @The_Lord_Poncho )😲
  24. If you feel that they're a gimmick then they're not the gun for you. I use mine when I know I have one shot - or I need to make that one shot count*. Its certainly not a close up or speedball weapon. I find its more suited to woodland - if I need to dump the AEG for maneuverability speed - such as getting into a trench or building - then its the 1911/2011 (and a BFG). Also makes a great last ditch backup. I think it also matters that where you're playing is good on "hot" guns. The rules on my Redhawk are the same as for any other gun - we chrono (currently piss poor) then I know - but even now I only ever use it at more than minimum engagement distance. I don't go out to hurt FFS. There's not really anything to be gained in using one which gets around the shell reloads - they're all more accurate single action - and its a slower more thoughtful rate of play. I guess what I'm trying to say is they're more like pocket snipers but slower? WRT to Tanaka's they have all the disadvantages of a revolver but none of the advantages of the shell loaders. (Please correct me - it has been - 15 years - since I tried a non SAA one!) I've owned and skirmished with 2 6 shots (a 6 inch M29 and a modded M629 full metal Zeke body) as well as handled and shot a lot of them. All of them (Pegasus 2) were horribly inaccurate at anything more than 10m - sometimes 5m - on green. The FPS varied wildly from <pointless to >400 with a .20 BB on propane (green) and were OK at springer range on duster gas. Its worth mentioning that I used it at sites which didn't have an issue with potentially this powerful being used at its effective range .... it couldn't hit a barn door. I say it - BB's would go vertical, horizontal, fucknowswotal .... and occasionally straight. The exception to this are their (or were) SAA's. I've owned two - one I still own. The first was the "fast draw special" which put out around 340 on green but the fixed hop worked great with 0.25's. The second is the removable cyclinder artilery (basically a six inch barrel) but I've buggered up the cylinder - long story but I'll see if anyone can help me fix it. This was around 320 with 0.2's - which the hop worked with. The SAA's were really consistent. I've now ordered a 6 Inch DW 715 (yeh well, what's the worst ....) so I'll let you know. Only because I know at some point I'll break my Redhawk - and I love having something for when you can definitely get a kill - or need it with style
  25. So, I had to replace the gears inside my specna ak74 edge 2.0, short stroked them by 2 teeth, and managed to get everything back into the gearbox perfectly fine (afaik). Plugged in the motor and battery, short burst then the mosfet beeped three times and shut off. Plugged it into my phone and apparently its not reading the sector gear, and seems to think my motor isn't Plugged in. Anyone worked with an aster v3 with short stroked gears able to give me any advice? As far as I remember there wasn't anything special on the stock gears for the aster to read, and I haven't done anything to the motor.
