My 1st time firing of an A1 resulted in a JAM, I had no training on it Yeah there using the A2, have been for a few years now, so now they clean as much as the army does no selective firing and SUSATS, they've been wearing MTP clothes for about 5 years aswell, no more light weights, shirts, jumpers etc etc Before my boys did any 'live firing' they start on air rifles, then train with the A2's and get tested on them, now they start with a basic blue star to say they passed everything then work up to there 1 star Its changed so much since I was a cadet, they Can't sleep out in the rain anymore, they dont do P.T and can't ride in any sort of military vehicles anymore (great times p*****g out the back of a 4 tonner) all transport is white vans and coaches I had a crack on the LSW, SA80 and the GPMG (gympie) when in the cadets on exercise on Salisbury plain with the local T.A Funny enough, I have 3 springer sa80's to train my boys with, just to give them extra help, its amazing what memories and skills come back when you have an sa80 in your hands

Fair enough, wonder if it can be converted for a blow back system
-
I understand its all for realism (hence a replica) but I thought it was there for a blow back system and to see of anyone would point it out

With so many regiments being amalgated Richie, its important to me (like many others) to keep the history alive, its important to me to show great pride in what I did and to remember my mates who served and died Have a look eBay and you might find what you want mate, that's where I got mine from I replaced my faded para wings with newer OD backing and black wings on my DPM smock and shirt, all the Velcro ones are going on my ubac shirt and they have the Velcro already sewn onto the patch

Pretty much everyone is out to screw everyone (there is acceptions obviously) The rich get richer while the lower society gets bent over and a** raped, that's the way its always been through out history My dad is an ex lorry driver and some t**t tried to under take him (my dad was in the slow lane and I was with him) by using the hard shoulder, the slip road my dad needed was coming up and the bloke ended up under the trailer wheels, even with me and 2 other witness's, the bloke still claimed it was my dads fault Everything (including the courts) said it was the blokes fault and he still tried to sue my dad, took nearly a year before the bloke gave up

Why does my G&G M4 AEG have a gas tube ?? As its an electric rifle, why's it there ?? Was wondering how to remove the foresight so when I looked at the exploded diagram, it showed a gas tube, when I looked into the fore grip, I could see it Looks like they used a length of aluminium tube to replicate the gas tube

I got fined for doing 35mph in a 30 zone in my 'fitter/younger' days I was on a push bike, riding down a long gentle slope, then I hear the 'nee knaw' of the rozzers, they gave me a £60 fine

I remember doing the 'penny coin' in the mag when I was in the cadets and then the army, it was so annoying when the bolt kept staying back and you had to release the working parts forward But then again, I started with the 'cadet GP A1' it had no gas parts, a huge cocking handle for single firing and iron sights My boys use the 'A2' at army cadets, has gas parts, tear drop cocking handle (single fire only) and iron sights But the funny thing was that the instructor had to tell you when the bolt was back so you had to change mags or had a stoppage

Liked and shared on fb I like the thought of the hydro dipping
-
I know it can be done but I just dont fancy having to respray the whole thing, just the slide and the pistol grip I want the tan and black on my m4 spray the outer barrel and the body tan with the hand gaurd and stock being black
-
I like the tan and black aswell, just wondering if it can be done on the glock 18c ?? I have a 2 tone m4 at the moment but once I got my ukara I'll respray the green bits a bit darker green, I do quite like the 2 tone look but not in such bright colours
-
That's possibly 1 of them, cheers for that

Hey guys, I met a couple of blokes at my last skirmish day who live very near to Weston super mare, one of the guys told me there's a group on Facebook but I haven't found it If anyone knows of any Weston super mare facebook groups then please tell me
-
I have the glock 18c, a great side arm which got me out of a few close calls I'd say go for this pistol The lipo conversion is easy (how to videos on YouTube) but I've got experience doing such things I have 3x 300mah, 7.4v lipos and they fit great inside the top slide

I have both mesh googles and glasses The googles dig in and give me a headache, the glasses fog up but there is spray that can stop them fogging up IMO I would go with the glasses

-
Did my 1st skirmish yesterday (28th sept) and absolutely loved it, my thighs are killing me though Beginning of the day I was following the experienced guys to get aqainted with locations of the sight and end of the day, I had an 8 man section behind me, I believe people could see my experience and had compliments from both staff and players I can only do end of the month skirmish in October and then during november Would those other 2 dates fall IN or OUTSIDE the 2 month time limit ??

I remember waking up in a thin pilots sleeping bag with ice all over my poncho when I was an army cadet, swore I'd never be that cold again AND I haven't been that cold again After playing in the snow for an hour without gloves, my hands felt like they were on fire so a good pair of gloves are paramount for me come winter time
-
Wearing waterproofs makes to much noise, specially if your doing a milsim exercise
-
Whenever I was in the field, I'd just wear my Norwegian army shirt, even in the rain and snow I sprayed my combats with the stuff you use to spray over canvas tents but at night when I was on stag duty or just sitting around for hours in the rain then I'd wear my poncho, I also had gaiters to wear
-
It's all good in theory ian But in my experience, we all go to ground or take cover and listen, once we knew the direction and didn't see anymore movement or even people, we would then get up and move back the way we came and find an alternate route

Omg I've just realised the most easiest and simple thing possible Your idea is to distract the enemy right, some sort of decoy ?? Why not just tie some para cord to a branch or something, crawl away to a position far away enough out of earshot (chances are they won't hear anything anyway) and just tug the cord in an irregular pattern when they are near it I used the same principal when 'hobo fishing' an old can, some fishing line and a hook. Bait and cast the hook then just move the can to imitate insects etc in the water
