I've got a couple of springer SA80 mags left over from my boys broken rifles, I was wondering if its possible with some modification to make them work in an m4 raider AEG Has anyone done this ?? and what did you do ?? Nick

Looks like an interesting weapon, you would certainly stand out with it After many reviews and yet to skirmish with it, I went with g&g raider L, with this based on the m4, its a good platform How readily available are parts for that rifle

You can do but I suggested only 1 just in case the charger is knackered, if it is then you still have other battery's to use

Then I would say your lipos fully charged Take a NiMH and run it down, leave 24 hours for the voltage to settle then put it on charge

Hmmm, can you check the voltage of your lipo ?? I'm just wondering if your lipo maybe under charged

After doing a YouTube search Indicator lights for type of battery connected Battery knackered if continue slow/fast flashing Solid Red light means charged although the bloke didn't say what colour the light is when charge complete

Can you post photos of how you connect battery to charger and some close ups of the charger Another possibility could be the wall plug

That red light should change to green when charged Leave the lipo alone for a few days for the voltage to settle in each cell then charge for 30 minutes and check the light Do you have access to a volt meter or an Avo ?? you could measure the voltage in each cell then

Does your charger have a RED and GREEN LED's ?? if they do then Red means charging and Green means charged. Just remember to keep an eye on the charger and lipo as it charges

Hi guys, I'm back I have a HFC 2 tone Beretta m9, its gas operated but NOT the blow back pistol which suits me and my boys fine I will upgrade to a GBB at some point in the future I have a couple of questions for you all (no surprise there being a newbie) Does anyone know where I can get mags for them please ?? I have a success, I have routed the battery wires to the front of the rifle All I have to do now is make a battery box, shorten the wires and solder on a deans connector

I have some 2s 5000mah lipos I want to use but because I can't fit them anywhere, I'm going to make a battery box and mount on the underside of the hand guard (I have a magwell grip) and its the only place I can put it I'll extend the battery wires and clip them to the receiver I can't afford £60 + for a new receiver with forward battery wires at the moment (to many commitments atm)

Lipo alarms will either show the the voltage in each cell Or They will show voltage in each cell AND alarm when 1 cell drops down to voltage cut off As I use lipos in racing, I wasn't sure if the alarm applys to lipos in airsoft weapons

Sorry mate but I'm not on about a charger, I use 2x iMax B6 chargers for all my battery's A lipo alarm plugs into the white balance plug, when the battery's in use, it monitors each cell and can be set so that if 1 cell hits 3.3v then the audible alarm sounds

I have my g&g m4 AEG now, its the short barrel 2 tone rifle I'm going lipo with it as I have more than a few of them lol, as a keen RC builder, hobbyist and racer in several different fields, I use an audible lipo alarm in my boats and cars Do you guys use lipo alarms ?? I ask because I have more than few quid invested in them and dont want to ruin them Nick

Cheers silent My big lipos have 4mm gold bullets on them but I would swap the mini tamiya connector to deans anyway as I could use my 4600mah nimhs instead

Cheers fellas, I prefer the RIS setup because of CQB so a shorter barrel would be better and for outdoors I can attach a short silencer (maybe even tracer) but for now I have my pistol for room clearence My lipos measure 145mm(long) x 49mm(wide)x17mm)thick) but I also have much smaller 1000mah and 1300mah lipos that I use as receiver packs or powering LED's, winches etc

I run both fast and slow cars, I have my son has hpi blitz and I have acme raptor (brushless and lipo upgrade) my other son likes my scale and rock crawler cars Never seen a split pack 2s lipo but I have now and yes I am on about the raider, I'm going with carbine cause of the short barrel and RIS rail, I'll be getting my boys the JG g36c each and protective gear

Before I go ahead and get the 2 tone cm16 m4 AEG I have a battery question ?? it says in the write up that it uses a crane battery (or split battery as I know it) I have a 7.2v NiMH crane battery already and its 3600mah, it also says to use 7.4v lipo to which I have 4 of them for my rc cars rated at 5000mah Could I use my lipos (I'll remove the crane battery holder) ?? That is very true Richie I took the oath but end of the day, who did I have to rely on in the mix of it ? God, queen or country ?? It was the men next to me, the ones who saw each other through training, the guys who stood shoulder to shoulder, they were family to me I hate these people who are letting the side down
