Lol it was just slightly curved and the collar put it central again and its pretty damn accurate now

A quick fix I use is the brass collars from the hop, the barrel end was curved slightly and as I had a spare hop collar, I put that down the inside of the outer barrel and it works fine now

Thanks for your replys guys At least I didn't have the troubles my mate and another guy at portishead site did last sunday Both were using gas and after about 3 or 4 shots, the valve jammed open and vented (my mate had a pistol and the other guy had a gbb rifle)

@dex - I swapped out the plastic hop for a metal hop as an experiment to see what works and what doesn't, in the heat it was excellent and was still going well up until last weekend (14th) we were in heavy wooded area @sitting duck, if I can find what works well in temp differences then swapping over when the weather gets colder is like people putting on a hat, scarf and gloves I'm wondering if the buck was a bit to dry as I put a very thin layer of silicone oil down the barrel every time I clean all weapons Battery might of had some part in it as they are both brand new, discharged then charged once My ex sister in law and her family live in Scotland, we were wearing coats and she was wearing a jumper, she said it was warm so what you moaning about pmsl

Far as I can tell, the hop rubbers fine, I'll take the plastic hop with me on sunday, use the chrono and take it from there Is there a specific rubber buck that works in s**t, cold weather ??

I've got a metal upgraded hop up in my G&G raider M4 and before the weather was turning cold, it would easily hit 330 fps I know BB's are a fairly snug fit in the hop up and being metal, its affected by cold weather which makes metal shrink, so........ We played capture the flag at my last game, we had to destroy 2 bridges first by planting pyro mines, the 1st bridge was easy but the 2nd was much harder, when we were defending the the flag, its very hard to get through the gate but can/was be done Another game we played was enemy infiltration where we had to get into there territory, I love playing the "sneaky bastard" games A lot of games are being played with props at my local sites which is excellent, I was the president in 1 game and our objectives were getting to 3 choppers with fuel drums

The same keeps happening on sons M4, I take off the delta ring, tighten the ring underneath and then it keeps happening there's no grub screws, I've wrapped insulation tape tightly around the thread on the body and it still happens, I've got to try something else but not sure what to do

I do the same as mentioned above 1 wire at a time Scratch/flux the surface Put connectors together in pairs I use pliers and elastic band on the hand grips to hold the connector and big spring clamp to hold the battery

I haven't done it personally but my mate swapped his ICS M4 barrel to a 6.03 or 6.01 and that went over site limits so he stuck an M90 spring in Most people I know who've changed barrel, goes with madbull as there steel, brass ones cause to much friction

You can try eBay or your local radio control shop as I've got the imax B6 and GT power battery chargers

Good luck with the gear box Doug as I know its your 1st time bud just remember to put a screw driver in the spring to stop it popping out and take photos to remind where/how everything goes mate Send me a text or pop round if you get stuck

I'd go the with combat machine, I have 2, one is a support weapon for my boys and the other I use in woodland but yet to use it in CQB conditions (what it was designed for) they both stand up against the more expensive ones but I can sneak in more closely and double tap someone

Try the MOE PTS handguard, I put one on my sons M4, didn't quite fit as it was a tad to long but that got sorted with a hacksaw and some sandpaper and now it fits nice and snug

I 2nd what Ian said about the face mask I got hit on my upper lip, while it hurt like a bitch its reminded about the use of masks Eye pro all the way, I've lost count of the amount of times a bb's hit/glanced my glasses

I think you'll find you did End of the day, he wants his son to be a bit safe. I have both a 13 & 14 year old boys and they love it wether they get hit or not, teaches them to keep there head down The guy needs guidance and not ridicule or belittling his son I apologise for any offence caused but I'm a protective parent some times, I do believe in kids being toughened up as a majority play on there phones or consoles, I personaly try to avoid kids but will still have a go and both me and my sons have been on the receiving end of being hosed

I got hit 3 times on my inner thigh near my groin on sunday it was a combination of lucky shots and me stepping out on my right leg, got hit on my upper lip aswell

I certainly have and it still hurts wether your a child or not There's people who dont like heights etc but they still do it All the guys asking is for advice not to be told 'well he shouldn't do it' who are you to tell him that, he's looking out for his kid
