  1. Isnt a scar bigger and heavier then an m4? lol
  2. Hi, I have to wear glasses for long distance. I wear viper goggles and I can fit my glasses underneath them with no real disadvantage or discomfort. The goggles do steam up a little bit, but lifting the slightly from the skin eradicates the fogging almost immediately. I also had before the goggles, a set of viper glasses. they have a prescription insert (piece of clear rubber to place lenses in) the original plan was to do that, but getting new lenses made was too expensive for me (£80).
  3. For the extra £10 or so, I would just buy ballistic rated goggles. I have viper goggles they cost me £18 (not exactly a fortune) and they're good because I can wear my glasses underneath them, they do steam up if ive done a lot of running around, but just slightly lifting them from my skin removes the fog in a few seconds. Mesh probably is okay in most situations, but what if your teammate does accidentally shoot-you from pointblank I wouldnt trust it in that scenario.
  4. I don't really know why, but there is something about the Sturgewehr 44 I like about its appearance. Definitely an important gun in-terms of the history of rifles. The father of classical assault rifles. Im lead to belive it wasnt the greatest gun from a practical standpoint rather unreliable, however the design was innovative for the time and its obvious to see where Kalashnikov got his ideas from...
  5. Just saying, dont even think about wearing the mesh mask. I have seen a video of someone shoot at the mesh with a 350fps gun and it went straight through. (The package James linked)
  6. most people just turn up, and i guess you meet people and form a team if you want? there is , cup competitions and stuff. I have no experience with that
  7. I wear magnum boots, theyre a bit pricey but very comfy IMO and waterproof
  8. if you dont go waving it about in a public place, and only use it at a registered airsoft site you will have no problems.
  9. Have you seen the KWA CQR? For that price range if I was to buy an M4 thats the gun I would buy, it comes with extra magazines and KWA is a very reputable manufacturer. also if you want a good value G36, have you considered a JG? Most sites use JG G36c as their rental guns because theyre very tough construction.
  10. Yeah frosty is on point with that, go for the AK or the v2 G36
  11. Hey, are you from southend? are you looking to go to skirmish billercay thats my local
  12. I studied Wilfred Owen when I did English lit, he has wrote some fantastic pieces of the great war. might no be everyones cup of tea.
  13. also, by adding a silencer it means if you want to you can add a longer barrel which may increase range

  19. Havnt played a FPS in years, but I played a lot of Call of duty 4 with my friends back in highschool, probably my favorite FPS. Counter-Strike is also quite addictive but it has a pretty steep learning curve.
  20. To be honest I have been told every gun is bad or has flaws, except the £600 vfc guns or over priced TM's or the some how legendary "Combat machine" but their internals are actually pretty bad in comparison. Also If i upgrade anything I loose my warranty which i dont really want to do
  21. The gun im buying comes with a mosfet
  22. I bought a viper plate carrier from my local site for £50, to be honest dont spend £100 on a vest if youve never played before. you dont even need one its really just to look cool, a lot of airsofting really is just about looking cool. you can get a good platecarrier/rig for £50 Of course having your spare mags on your chest is usefull, to be honest the main reason I bought one is because getting shot in the nipples is hell.
  23. Have fun mate, tell us how it went
  24. Ok guys, I think im going to order 3 of the G&P metal mags, ill tell you how they feed.
