Ok I have 1 more question, the recommended battery for my gun is a 8.4V 1400mAh Mini Battery. I understand this is a rather small battery would a 7.4 lipo actually fit in my gun? The barrery compartment is in the buttstock.

Ok guys, thanks for the feedback! If mid caps require no winding then that is definitely the route I will take. Also I guess if I buy G&G mags they should be compatible with my G&G gun. Good point you made about lipos dying, I have used lipos before In my RC planes and Cars so I know that is true, I think buying two 7.4's is what i will do. Thanks for the help lads

Hi guys, so I have taken a break from airsoft but now Im getting back into the idea of it. I have decided to buy a G&G top tech M4, now I have a couple of questions to ask.... One of the things I hated most about playing airsoft was winding up my mags, I have heard about these "emags" that wind up them self but i cant seem to find them anywhere. also If I bought midcaps instead of hicaps would that mean I dont have to wind them? or atleast as much. I'm quite conservative with my shooting when I play I normally use semi auto, so when I use a hicap I rarely even use 1 mag in a round. A midcap wouldnt bother me and changing mags i think is quite fun. Lastly, what do you think would be the best battery solution for me to use? I was thinking a 7.7 lipo (I already have lipo chargers) but would an 11 or a nimh battery be better? Like to hear your guys thoughts, I should be playing again maybe by next weekend

I would personally prefer just a normal M4 style flash hider, I have to say however the gun does look very impressive

Interesting subject, I have wondered about it too.

I recently watch Zero dark 30, there isnt much actual combat action but it is quite an engaging watch; its about how they found bin laden and killed him. Of course black hawk down is a good film if you just want some action. I watched behind enemy lines quite recently i thought it was a bit... too unrealistic running through explosions and the Serbians missing every shoot at 100m range but yeh.

Hi, my clone 552 came today. It is full metal and i have to say im very impressed with the build quality, its a heavy sturdy piece of kit very pleased with it.

£80 for a good AEG isnt much mate, if i was you i wouldnt buy a side arm and add the money together for 1 good AEG. Sidearms arnt needed...

The amount of elevation needed to hit a target at 1mile with a 5.56 caliber gun would be ridiculous, then you have to take into account windage; 5.56 is a very small bullet and would be effected by wind quite a lot as it slows down. even if by a miracle you did hit me, the bullet would have lost a lot of velocity and wouldn't be fatal anyway. Anyway its all theoretical, I have never fired at someone a mile away with a 5.56 gun.

I like to play quite mobile, I run and jump in and out of cover all day. Nertherless by the end of the day, im completely knackered. I get home, have a shower then eat dinner and sleep from about 7 to 10am the next day lol.

This one guy, pretty fat. Always yells "Push forward!!!" when he is sitting back behind the entire team. always yells "take your hit!" at whatever he shoots at.

I agree, some guys take it very seriously and they dont need to. "Take your fucking hit!" was yelled at me more than once, thing is his shots wernt even near me. people think just because they see you and aim at you 50meters away dont realize there gun cant actually shoot that far. I dont mind people treating it in a military way i actualy quite like that, but i dont like the people that think they hit everything they aim at.

Yeah I agree, the marshalls shouldnt wear green shirt and camo torusers and expect not to look like players. they was also standing right in the middle of an objective area so i couldnt shoot the enemy because this fat Marshall was in the way quite annoying lol, when he moved my gun rental gun misfired anyway.

Hey mate i also went that day, Ive been there 4 times now i would say that was my wost day there. Like you my gun was complete Sh*t, it actually fell apart the carry handle fell off and the flash hider broke, then the younger technician had the cheek to ask me to pay for it but the older guy said i didnt have to. When you go again rent an AK, those guns are brand new and solid as a rock and shoot much better, the M4's are awful. never tried a g36 tho.

I might be going to Skirmish in Billericay this sunday aswell

I've decided just to go with the KWA CQR MOD1, I wanted something a bit different it seems every1 has M4's but the FPS says 330-350 so it seems perfect for me. any advice as to what battery to buy for it, it doesn't come with one.

Things is almost every AEG rifle seems to be over 350fps thats a good quality one.

I am going to be obtaining my UKARA in the following weeks and looking to purchase a gun. My local site has a 350fps limit, I have watched some reviews on youtube of the gun I am interested in buying and the chronograph readings shows 370fps. If i buy this gun is there anything i can do to lower the FPS by just 20? My site has a 500fps limit for snipers so if I bought a side arm for the CQB round would I be allowed to use it with 370fps?
