  1. I think its a cool idea.... Just ask the owner of the site you go to first..?
  2. Insurgency is good Ive played it for about 20hours, its like a more realistic CS with aiming down sights. TBH there is such a wide array of game genres on PC its just down to you, I personally love the Total War Games! ROME 2 is definitely a game that can make hours seem like minutes when you really get into it.
  3. To be honest it is the kids fault, Air-soft guns in the US should have a orange tip on them which this one did not, so he must have removed it... Lethal shooting in the U.S by police are very common occurrence unlike here in the UK theyre much more gung-ho... Why the hell would you take a RIF to a playground? yes he is only 12 but its pretty common sense...
  4. electric, gas guns are pretty unreliable in colder weather. also more expensive to run. I wouldnt buy anything from JBBG personally.
  5. Most people recommend a G&G CM 16 as the best starter gun, I think it really depends on your preference. The Combat machines comes in many different M4 variants. If youre only 13 maybe some of the longer variants might be a bit to heavy for you. CYMA are a good brand for AK variants, another brand I recommend is ICS. If you prefer AK's to M4's G&G make a "RK47" which I have heard is also a good gun for the money. Another good gun is the KWA CQR, however its a bit over your budget around £160. In terms of protection, as youre under 18 you will require full face however this does not mean you must wear a mask. I am over 18 however I think face protection is important, I wear a mesh mouth protector which protects my teeth from damage. Any ballistic rated eye protection should be fine, depends on your preference again I wear goggles because I can fit my glasses underneath them. A variable some people overlook is footwear, if youre planning on playing at an outdoor site a good pair of boots is definitely recommended. So factor this into your budget
  6. Okay, I live in southend/colchester(at uni in colchester) my local site is billericay skirmish its a pretty large outdoor site Going to try out dragons lair soon
  7. Hi I'm also from Essex Welcome to the forum
  8. When I did mine it was free, they put me on the database and I was registered that day.
  9. Your logic is very flawed if you think children dying by wasp stings, has anything to do with idiots shooting at one-another with air rifles.....
  10. kids have been shooting each other with airguns since they were invented. I know because my dad has a scar from one lol... nothing new, but it is stupid nevertheless people dont understand how dangerous it actually is. Kids have died more than once in this country due to airguns aswell :/
  11. Out of that list I would go for the ASG scorpion evo3, would be a great CQB gun for sure
  12. Hello, I was talking to someone about my WE M9. He said that WE guns can use CO2 instead of Green gas and apparently it works better in cold weather. Do I need to buy some kind of conversion kit or can WE guns take CO2 standard?
  13. CQB is definitely more fast paced, short rounds but much more action. Woodland most of the time, you spend walking around looking for people if its a big area rather than actually shooting at people. However when you do run into some people I think the firefight is more rewarding
  14. http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=cm&PN=cm16_carbine_transparent%2ehtml#SID=239 The mask supplied is about £2 its a load of crap, you can buy a 8.4 battery for about £10 and 3000 bb's for £6. £99 looks like a better deal imo
  15. The rating of wattage on a PSU is how much it can deliver not how much it deliverers all the time. Thus there is no real disadvantage about having a few 100 more W. To be safe personally I would go for a 750W and also if he wants to upgrade certain components in the future like a more powerful GPU then obviously it will be able to produce the power to advocate for that increase in power usage.
  16. I never said "good" I said cheap. Most people say the best "Bang for buck" AEG is the CM16, if you want a "good" aeg
  17. I would say buy a 750w PSU, I had a 500W PSU and it blew up on my gaming PC. Remember you're going to need to buy some SATA cables, other than that it looks like a fairly decent build should be able to run most game on high graphical settings. Also you have SSD with a ?, SSD's are great if you want to install your O/S and games you play very often however.... If you are going to buy an SSD make sure you buy it now before you use the PC because it is a mazzive pain in the balls to transfer stuff like Windows ect... from a Harddrive to an SSD.
  18. Ok its true, I am fairly new to the subject. However Im just giving my verdict from my own experiences not articles I have found online... My local airsoft retailer required me to have a UKARA, all the online retailers I have seen require a UKARA number thus my verdict... you need a UKARA.
  19. sure there are loop holes if you want to be smart arses. I don't really care.... UKARA is the safest and most recognised defence..
  20. Doesnt matter if he is an adult or not, you cant buy a RIF without a UKARA.... unless youre asking if you can just buy a two tone? thought that was fairly obvious...
  21. Just remember that your dad has to have a UKARA regardless, this means he will have to play 3 airsoft skirmishes.
  22. I'm up for it the next time you go, I will try and make time to come along that day. hardest part for me is getting there although im only about 2hours away.
  23. Fair enough, I see it has a bit of the barrel length chopped off. Anything TM should be good so if you can afford it go for it
  24. Why the affinity with springers? You can get a cheap AEg for £70-80? or if you want a springer for a reason get a pump action shotgun
